Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and delivery of the legacy fundraising strategy, creating and implementing targeted acquisition plans to grow legacy income in line with agreed targets.
• Design and execute integrated legacy marketing campaigns, collaborating with Membership, Marketing, Digital, and Resources & Planning teams to optimise messaging and reach across all channels.
• Cultivate and steward a portfolio of legacy supporters, including new prospects and existing donors, delivering best-practice supporter journeys and planning engaging legacy-focused events.
• Oversee legacy programme administration, ensuring timely and accurate processing of bequests, maintaining high-quality reporting, and supporting continuous improvement through robust evaluation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to segment audiences, identify those most receptive to legacy messaging, and explore creative outreach strategies including awareness campaigns and partnerships.
• Maintain accurate database records and financial tracking, working closely with Finance and the Philanthropy Executive to ensure legacy income is administered and reported in line with agreements and organisational standards.

Person Specification:

• Extensive experience in legacy fundraising and marketing, with a strong track record of securing legacy pledges and successfully managing legacy programmes.
• Proven ability to develop and deliver strategic plans and marketing campaigns, manage budgets effectively, and meet or exceed income targets.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages and engage a wide range of audiences and stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and confidently represent the organisation to supporters and high-profile contacts.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and maintain accurate records, experience with Raiser's Edge is a plus.

About the Role

Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where no day is the same

This role requires using your initiative and proactive attitude than reactive.

You will also be working with women who are in trauma and can be in crisis requiring you to be empathetic but aspirational. You will provide advice and support to women who have experienced domestic abuse in a refuge setting, across the three sites.  You will carry out risk and needs assessments, develop support plans and carry out key work with women survivors. You will be expected to work in one of the three Refuges as part of your role

Some of the tasks you will be required.

• Support – Induction, Risk Assessments, Domestic Abuse, Mental Health, Benefits, Debt Advice, Move On, maintain accurate recording on Solace case management system and ensure regular reviews are carried out.
• Frontline delivery of support directly to service users
• Repairs Identification/reporting/meeting contractors
• Void inspections, basic void works – i.e. clean/clear, furniture, welcome packs 
• Service Users Arrears & HB Claims and benefits - Identify arrears of concern & raise to Service Manager
• Helping service users understand housing benefits/welfare benefits available to them 
• Initial Safeguarding Reports 
• Deliver Clear Outcomes – contractual deliverables or Solace standards 
• Multi agency working involved with Service Users
• Support service user to access other community services 
• ED&I Awareness-needs for SU’s including organising EDI activities.

About You

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of domestic abuse and its impact on women and their children, as well as experience of providing emotional and practical support to victims of domestic and sexual violence.  An in depth understanding of the needs of women and children from a diverse background is essential. 

• You will have experience of managing risk and following case management procedures to meet the needs of the client group, and the ability to work with women to help them to understand their needs, risk assess, develop safety plan and support them in linking with other agencies.
• You should have an understanding of the homelessness process, either professionally or personally. 
• You will have a working knowledge of the available legal remedies, housing and welfare benefits, as well as experience of providing workshops.

Outside of this, you will have excellent administrative and time management skills and the ability to effectively manage a caseload.

The Museum is looking for an ambitious and self-motivated individual for the role of Legacy Manager. The role will be key in securing the future of the Museum for years to come, building on and delivering a comprehensive legacy strategy, creating compelling marketing campaigns, and building meaningful relationships with legacy supporters.

Working alongside an approachable and highly successful Philanthropy team, reporting into the Senior Philanthropy Manager (HNWI), the role will be leading and delivering our legacy programme, building on and driving forward our legacy strategy. You will develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels to deliver the legacy strategy, as well as promote legacy giving to a wide audience and cultivating new legators. The role will also steward existing legators, developing relationships and planning events to steward and cultivate. The appointed person will have extensive experience in legacy fundraising and marketing, and successfully soliciting legacy pledges and a proven ability to develop strategy, manage budgets and deliver results. They will have exceptional written and oral communication skills, with an ability to convey detailed information in a concise and engaging manner and be able to establish productive relationships with a variety of funders, prospects and colleagues. This person must be able to work proactively and constructively with colleagues to develop high-quality project proposals and act as an ambassador for the Natural History Museum amongst a range of high-profile external contacts. Finally, they will possess exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills and have an ability to prioritise and meet regular deadlines whilst working under pressure.

The main purpose of the Partnerships Manager role is to deliver first-class account management and development of corporate partnerships to drive Breaking Barriers mission.

Working closely with Senior Partnerships Managers, Head of Corporate Partnerships, and members of the Income & Engagement and Services Directorates, you will be responsible for launching, retaining and developing a portfolio of partnerships ensuring we deepen and strengthen relationships whilst identifying opportunities for growth.

You will play your part in delivering and developing strategic relationships to bring value to our refugee clients and our employment and education programmes.

The successful candidate will have experience managing corporate partner relationships, including making fundraising asks and managing external communication with donors and partners at all levels of seniority. You will deploy your influencing skills and ability to build profitable relationships to great effect as you take a leading role identifying and nurturing future strategic partnerships. An understanding of Corporate Social Responsibility would be advantageous.

About you

You’re a hands-on IT leader with substantial experience in IT management or senior infrastructure roles, a strong track record in Azure migrations, and confident administration of Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online and Teams. • Support financial reconciliation and reporting through accurate data recording and communication with the Finance team

Ideal candidate profile:

• Prior experience working within a charity or not-for-profit environment
• Proven experience of working with Raiser's Edge, with strong familiarity in managing large data sets and bulk import processes
• Knowledge and/or experience with Import-o-matic or similar data import tools (desirable)
• Strong understanding of data protection principles, including GDPR compliance
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement

About the role:

As part of our mission to break down barriers to university access and address broader educational inequalities, the Social Mobility & Widening Participation department has developed a dedicated strand of community organising within our work, which is becoming increasingly impactful across King’s and recognised in the sector. Through our Access & Participation Plan 2025–2029, we have made ambitious commitments to expand of this work to improve young people’s educational outcomes and address challenges to university access and broader inequalities.

We work to address local barriers to education such as mental health, pathways to citizenship, access to English language provision and issues around employment and fair wages. We do this through our partnership with South London Citizens. This role leads on the development and delivery of community organising initiatives and supports the wider integration of these methods across King’s. Through community organising, the role empowers school leaders, young people and parents to design, launch and sustain impactful campaigns. The post holder will work closely with Citizens UK organisers and colleagues across King’s to build strong partnerships and drive meaningful change, including engagement in broader, high profile local, regional and national initiatives.

The postholder will use community organising methodology to lead and expand our core community organising programmes which are currently, Parent Power South London, Empoderando Familias (in partnership with Citizens UK) and Empower ESOL. A key focus will be driving the strategic growth of our flagship Parent Power programme into new regions in collaboration with The Brilliant Club, where we have a commitment to support the launch of a new chapter each year through to 2028/29. This initiative empowers parents and carers to engage actively in their children’s education while building strong networks of community organisers who drive meaningful change at both local and national levels. The postholder will act as the main liaison with Citizens UK, The Brilliant Club and work closely with internal key stakeholders to support wider community organising initiatives and deliver training for SMWP staff.

This is an exciting opportunity for candidates who would like to develop their place-based work and use their skills within a university setting.

8. Understanding of the widening participation agenda and/or the role of higher education in social mobility.

Our partner, a leading international not for profit, seeks an experienced Finance Manager to lead on the financial management of a complex multi-country & multi-grant project. This role will really be suited to someone interested in developing and strengthening systems and processes & providing financial oversight, whilst working with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial management oversight on the project, verifying project-specific transactions and ensuring that financial data is up-to-date; and ensuring adherence to the organisation’s financial policies.
• Lead the project’s annual budgeting and forecasting process, allocating funds across country and global teams & operations.
• Prepare and deliver timely and accurate financial reports for the organisation’s project, including monthly, quarterly, and donor-specific reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and implement financial controls and processes to ensure compliance to donors and organisational policies, including tools such as templates, checklists, and manuals.
• Review budgets, quarterly reports and variance analyses, reforecasts, cash requests and agreements from sub-grantees; and ensure that they understand guidance on compliance and financial reporting.
• Treasury management – monitoring and analysis foreign exchange fluctuations, and their impact on project delivery.
• Responsible for supplier management, including reviewing contracts.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (and holding an active membership with an accountancy body) with experience in designing, developing and strengthening processes and controls for complex multi-country, multi-grants projects.
• Experience in the financial management and administration of grants, including budgeting, forecasting, undertaking analysis & monitoring, and reporting.
• Experience of donor compliance and reporting, including of institutional donors with complex compliance and reporting requirements.
• Experience of working specifically in the context of sub-grantees and implementing partners on the ground.
• Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills, able to analyse complex financial information to provide the full picture on the project implementation, and to be able to present this alongside other analyses and reports to senior internal and external stakeholders clearly and succinctly.

The Konrad Adenauer Foundation is a German political foundation, with head offices in Berlin and regional offices in over 100 countries around the world. Our London office - registered as Company Limited by Guarantee - covers the UK and also the Republic of Ireland, is looking to hire an Accountant to work as an essential part of our small team. Our annual programme includes a wide range of events such as panel-discussions, workshops and international conferences and requires liaising with a wide range of partner organisations from politics, academia, business, and the media.

The accountant will be responsible for all accounting and financial planning for our London office.

Requirements:
