Ace of Clubs (AoC) is an independent charity based in Clapham that supports individuals experiencing homelessness. We serve up to 200 hot meals a day to adults who are homeless, hungry or facing adversity.
With a small staff team, we need more volunteer help to support our admin - this includes writing emails, helping with communications or writing reports. You will be helping out in areas such as fundraising, communications and charity co-ordination. In summary: help us to introduce, restore and maintain hedgerows in London’s green belt, in cooperation with Friends-of groups and community-level volunteers.
The role of the Hedgerow Heroes Coordinator will be to:
- Help research new project opportunities (planting sites, partners etc)
- Work in a friendly team to help co-ordinate the planting / restoration of hedgerows all over London
- Administration and organisation of people and teams to meet planting session requirements
- Work alongside more experienced volunteers to learn project management skills to help you in your future career

Role Description
The Together Plan is a UK registered charity, promoting community capacity building, with a current focus on Belarus and Eastern Europe, through research, exploration, cultural events and dialogue. We help communities discover what can be achieved collectively, working alongside community members to develop skills and knowledge while providing the necessary training to build a sustainable future.
The Together Plan draws its inspiration for projects around three central pillars – ‘past’, ‘present’ and ‘future’ and each project drives a central belief which can be distilled into one line … Jewish people, wherever they are, are not alone.
The Together Plan is looking for pro-bono support to help maintain and expand our current Salesforce solution. We are looking to develop a long term relationship with a volunteer (or two) from the Salesforce ecosystem. Time commitment is expected to be on average 5 hours a month and maybe a little more if there is a specific project ongoing.

About this role
You will be supporting our Employer Engagement team to boost the number of roles we advertise for disabled people. This is an invaluable project for us as we grow our Job Board which offers employment opportunities for disabled people, which we can't do without some amazing volunteers! Please note, you must be 18 years old for this role.
Your role may include:
- Inputting data into our website content management system (Kontent.ai)
- Proof reading job adverts
- Working with the Employer Engagement team to ensure all data is accurate.
Where and when
- This is a fully remote opportunity so can be completed from anywhere in England or Wales
- We can also offer this role as a hybrid opportunity if preferred, if you are based in Manchester.
- We suggest a minimum of 8 hours a week but you're welcome to do more.
- Timing of volunteering is flexible and can be discussed on an individual basis.
