Senior Programmes Officer: Local First
Salary: £35,800

Peace Direct is an international charity that works with local peacebuilders and their allies to shift power and resources for sustainable peace. The role
As Senior Programmes Officer you will closely with our peacebuilding partners to help deliver an ambitious new programme of work. 'Local First: Transforming the Peacebuilding System' will support local peacebuilders in Mali, Afghanistan, Sudan and eastern DRC to increase prospects for sustainable peace.
Through Local First, Peace Direct will work with policymakers and power holders, supporting them to understand the dysfunctions of the peacebuilding system, and find ways to better support locally-led peacebuilding.
This role is responsible for developing and managing partnerships within the four countries, with initial emphasis on Mali. You will work closely with our other SPOs who manage partnerships in the four countries, and create and manage opportunities to bring partners together to learn from one another. You will also support the development, coordination and delivery of Local First, working closely with the International Programmes Manager and Peace Direct’s Netherlands Office Representative.
We are looking for an experienced, passionate person who can:
- Coordinate and support partnerships with local peacebuilding actors based on mutual accountability and trust. This will require working proficiency in French as well as English.
- Support the management, coordination and delivery of a complex, multi-country programme across four conflict-affected countries
- Coordinate the development of new work in support of transforming the peacebuilding system in four focus countries
- Contribute to organisational learning and the roll-out of our learning loop

About the role:
We are looking to appoint a Volunteer Coordinator. This is a newly created role. The Volunteer Coordinator will support the Volunteer Manager in the development and delivery of Rainbow Trust’s volunteer programme.
The post holder will be the first point of contact for volunteering enquiries and will be involved in all aspects of the volunteer programme including recruitment. Induction, management, engagement and retention.
This is an excellent opportunity to maintain a breadth of volunteer coordinator experience with increased responsibility.

This is a new and exciting role in Refuge, and the post holder will be embedded within borough housing teams to facilitate the dual working that will ensure that survivors’ safety and housing needs are met. The post holder will be based within housing teams for three days a week, to help facilitate.

The Role
FILE is seeking an early career Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Analyst to join a small and integrated team to provide support across a broad portfolio of work.
This is an exciting role within a critical area of the organisation building our evidence base on impact and using it to support learning with a range of stakeholders. The Impact & Learning team at FILE is responsible for generating evidence and learning through collated partner reporting to enable FILE and its partners to be as impactful as possible. This involves collating and analysing data, creating and facilitating learning processes within FILE and with our funded partners and ensuring evidence and insights are fed back into FILE’s and our partners’ strategies. The team works closely with all functions across the wider organisation.
The successful candidate will perform tasks related to the collection and analysis of data from partner reports as well as learning from evidence regarding FILE’s activities. This position will primarily focus on supporting 4 key areas:
- Monitoring: Enabling and supporting the collection of robust and consistent reports and data from partners to support their progress towards impact.
- Data management: Partner data collation and verification from different data sources e.g. reviewing indicator data and qualitative reports.
- Donor and board reporting: Preparation and presentation of data and evidence for our donors and board to demonstrate our progress towards impact
- Supporting internal and external learning: enable learning at all levels of the organisation through designing and delivering learning processes with FILE staff and partners
Note that FILE does not conduct in house evaluations but works closely with a broad range of experts and partners to build the necessary evidence base to understand impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting our portfolio and grants team in monitoring and reviewing grant documentation in line with FILE’s results framework including providing grant assessments.
- Reviewing and verifying partner reports, providing summaries for internal portfolio, Executive teams and FILE’s auditing.
- Monitoring progress of individual grants and portfolios including data extraction in line with FILE’s Results Framework and Case Database.
- Maintaining and refining, as required, data collection and management tools including partner reporting templates in collaboration with our Grant Management team.
- Summarising relevant data for inclusion in our half-yearly donor reports and quarterly updates for our Board and Senior Leadership Team.
- Supporting our Impact and Learning Manager to coordinate strategic inputs from portfolio teams relating to progress and results for inclusion in donor reports.

As Crisis’ Media Officer, you will play a key role in securing impactful media coverage that inspires the public and politicians to join our fight to end homelessness by raising awareness of our influencing campaigns and fundraising events. About the role
The Digital Optimisation Analyst is instrumental in advancing Christian Aid's digital strategy and supporting colleagues in achieving their ambitious digital, fundraising and supporter engagement goals. Through utilising measurable data and analytical tools such as Google Analytics, the role provides in-depth campaign analyses, performance reports, and a deep dive into users' online activities and behaviours. The deliverable insights and contributions empower teams to make data-driven, impactful decisions that generate positive change across the organisation.
About you
You will be the go-to expert in digital analysis, working closely alongside a variety of teams to maximise the reach, engagement and conversion of our digital journeys. You will be comfortable managing competing priorities and proactively engaging with multiple stakeholders. Alongside digital analysis projects, you will have a finger on the pulse of current trends, tools and best practice across the digital space.

The Loyalty & Cultivation team looks after the campaigns and journeys which these supporters receive, across multiple channels, to motivate, engage and inspire them to continue their journey with us.
We are looking for a creative thinker to join the team, delivering our regular e-newsletters and multi-channel campaigns to keep our existing volunteers inspired and motivated.
What will I be doing?
Developing inspiring and motivating content for email, digital, print and social advertising channels
Supporting the Loyalty & Cultivation team on the delivery of marketing briefs, coordinating the brief response, development and approval processes
Supporting the development of production specific briefs and work with Data Selections, Adobe, Web Analyst, Social and Marketing Delivery teams to deliver data and digital campaign set-up requirements
Supporting the content and creative production process, working with agencies, freelancers and internal Creative Team to develop compelling content across a range of channels
Working with UX experts to deliver pre-launch test and learn initiatives, sharing findings with the Senior Executive and optimising activity and assets based on results
Providing operational support for the campaign set-up and management process across all channels, including auditing campaign elements prior to launch
Supporting all aspects of campaign delivery including direct mail production and fulfilment and paid digital campaign delivery
Working with Adobe, Social and Marketing Delivery teams to deliver email, SMS, social and other specialist marketing activity
Conducting in-campaign and post-campaign analysis across all channels, evaluating against KPIs and preparing regular reports for the Senior Executive and Manager.
What skills will I need?
Understanding of end-to-end supporter journeys and the role of different channels in fully integrated campaigns
Experience of developing campaign assets for use across channels
Data-driven with an understanding of UX principles and experience of interpreting results and recommending opportunities for optimisation
Ability to prioritise, manage conflicting deadlines, work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks to deadline
A passion for marketing with an interest in external trends and developments
High level of IT literacy, including good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
Experience of successfully delivering campaigns, from planning through to execution and analysis
Proven success of good stakeholder management, with the ability to build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively.

Our expert team of canine behaviourists provide behavioural support and advice to teams within Battersea, members of the public, and the rescue organisations we work with around the world. The team design and help implement behaviour modification and training plans for dogs whilst coaching members of the canine care groups through the practical day-to-day steps. They also assist with behavioural and welfare assessments of animals who come into our centres and are on hand to help manage and provide further support with dogs with more complex behavioural needs. The team provide support to dogs during their stay at Battersea, and are also available for continued advice after rehoming.
We are now looking to recruit a Canine Behaviour and Training Advisor for our team in Old Windsor. Within this role, you will work with our operational teams in the assessment and welfare of the dogs in our care and in the provision of behavioural training and advice for staff, volunteers, customers and external organisations. You will be working as part of a care group to create behaviour modification plans, support with handling difficult dogs and make recommendations, along with the individual care group, for individual dog outcomes.

We are looking for Early Years Advisors to join the team supporting the contract delivery of the Champions programmes.
Maths Champions is an online professional development programme, enabling early years settings to access CPD from their setting without the need to release staff to attend external training. The programme contains a range of evidence based training, reflective tools, resources and support from an Early Years Advisor.

The Role
You will support the contract delivery of the Champions programmes, ensuring contract milestones are met. The Champions programmes are online professional development programmes designed to support early years settings to drive continuous improvement and increase high standards in early education for children from birth to five years, in line with the organisations mission to promote quality in early years for UK and international customers.
Working closely with other early years advisors, delivery partners, managers and cross teams, you will be responsible for the delivery of Champions programmes.
You will work with the private, voluntary, maintained and independent sectors, and school provision providing advice and support relating to Champions programmes that enable practitioners within nursery settings with practice improvement resulting in better outcomes for children.
About You
Educated to degree level/early year’s teacher specialising in children’s speech, communication, language and mathematical development or equivalent in early years you will have experience of:
- Working in early years, leading practice specifically in mathematical, language, literacy and communication as an early years professional or teacher
- Coaching and mentoring early years practitioners to support practice improvement
- Customer service or related experience
- Multi-agency partnership working
- Developing and securing strong partnerships
- Involvement with early year’s networks or groups
- Product development and review
