Covering the operational, strategic and delivery of work across the Eastern region we are looking for a Project Development Co-ordinator to operate across the counties of Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. Travel within and occasionally outside these regions will be a necessity.

This post provides an exciting and rewarding opportunity to supervise, deliver and lead on our stakeholder and community engagement to support the delivery of NEA’s work programme.  The role will help deliver projects that can change lives, particularly during the energy crisis. 

NEA’s project work aims to bring improvements to the health and wellbeing of low income and vulnerable householders, through one-to-one advice, group awareness sessions, upskilling and sharing of best practice. 

Delivering on a range or projects, which demonstrate good practice in delivery of affordable warmth for low income and vulnerable householders, you will understand and drive the development of partnerships working with local authorities, housing providers, and various other partners.

You will oversee the delivery of project outputs and outcomes, delivering energy and fuel debt advice directly to householders and be responsible for the preparation of reports to funders including collation of evidence of outcomes achieved, maintaining relationships with a network of stakeholders across a region.

You will also work with the Project Development Manager to identify and develop new programmes of work, including preparation of funding applications, presentation of funding proposals to relevant funding bodies and to ensure effective liaison of NEA’s work programme with other activities within NEA.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

You will have demonstrable experience of developing and/or managing projects in the fields of energy efficiency, community development and regeneration, housing, social policy or consumer issues.

It is important that you have an awareness of the environmental, social and economic problems of deprived areas and the roles of the public, private and voluntary sectors in tackling them. 

You will need good organisational skills, as well as excellent written and communication skills, as you will maintain appropriate records and data, and produce regular written reports on project progress. 

You will be an excellent communicator, with experience and understanding of how to effectively address the energy needs of low income, vulnerable or disadvantaged householders - with the desire to make a positive difference to people’s lives.

Knowledge of energy efficiency, particularly within the domestic sector and community buildings, is desirable.

• £33,931 to £38,594 (Points 23 – 28) (plus £3,300 London Weighting if applicable). New appointments are usually made at the starting point of the scale.

Purpose of Job 

The Shine Nurse Specialist will deliver services and create resources to improve the health of Shine’s members, by informing members, their carers and professionals

• To provide ad hoc advice to Shine’s members, their carers  and professionals on complex health issues, and signpost to NHS services

Sound Minds is a charity, led by mental health service users, channelling the power of creativity and peer support to improve the lives of people living with long term mental ill health. Canerows offers peer support to those who are in hospital and those living in the community.

Main purposes of the job:

Sound Minds and Canerows are delivering an exciting project which is about offering peer support across Wandsworth to people who are experiencing mental health difficulties and living in the community. We are working in an alliance with Mushkil Aasaan and Wandsworth Carers Centre.

Mental Health Peer Support gives emotional support and promotes access to information and practical advice to people experiencing mental health difficulties. A key component is that these staff use their own direct lived experience of mental health difficulties to support other people. They work collaboratively with people within their service, focusing on the person’s strengths and personal resources to offer educational, emotional and practical support towards goals that are defined by the person.

The Peer Support Worker will be supported through peer support training and regular supervision.

Salary: £25,875 per annum FTE & 3% contribution to pension

Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a Housing Support Worker to join our new Supported Housing Scheme in Lambeth, an LGBTQ+ supported housing service with six units for young people aged 18-21 years. The service is due to open in late May 2025 and is part of a three-year funded joint project with Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing Association and Lambeth Council. The role is part of the Services team and is supervised by the Supported Housing Manager. Other members of the team include another part time Housing Support Worker and a part-time Youth Engagement Coordinator. 

Please note this is a part time vacancy working 17.5 hours per week. The pro rata salary for hours worked is £15,257.50 (£30,515 full time equivalent). Hours will be worked on a Week A / Week B rota basis, Monday to Sunday between 10am and 8pm. 

Job Summary 

In this role you will be responsible for supporting residents to reach their goals and aspirations and move on to independent living. This will involve:

• Supporting young people – building positive and affirming relationships, co-producing holistic strengths-based support plans, coaching and supporting young people with independent living skills and providing them with advice, guidance and support.

The Head of Fundraising will drive the strategic development, implementation, and delivery of BEO’s income generation strategy, focusing on core and restricted funds from High Net Worth Individuals (HNWIs), corporates, trusts and foundations, and other potential sources.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for growing and diversifying BEO’s income base to sustain its mission and scale its impact

• Lead on the development, execution, and review of the multi-year fundraising strategy aligned with BEO’s strategy goals and financial sustainability ambition
• Identify and pursue new and emerging income streams, ensuring a diversified and resilient funding portfolio.
• Provide strategic advice and recommendations to the CEO, Senior Leadership Team, and Board on fundraising performance, risks, and opportunities.
• Contribute to organisational strategy and business plan development as it relates to fundraising

Oversee and lead fundraising efforts across multiple income streams including:

• High Net Worth Individuals (HNWIs)
• Corporate partnerships and sponsorships
• Trusts and Foundations
• Strategic philanthropic partners and influencers
• Build and steward high-value relationships with donors and funders, acting as BEO’s lead ambassador for fundraising and development.
• Oversee the end-to-end fundraising lifecycle, including research, cultivation, proposal development, due diligence, reporting, and renewal.
• Ensure robust fundraising pipelines are in place, regularly reviewed, and managed with a clear focus on growth, innovation, and sustainability.

This post will lead the community engagement work with young people across the three boroughs of Kensington and Chelsea, Hammersmith and Fulham, and Westminster. You will lead SASH’s young persons’ outreach and engagement, and provide information, advice and support to young people on issues related to sexual health and wellbeing as well as signposting to appropriate services. A key component of the role will be to engage young people in the programme in

innovative and creative ways with an expectation to be delivering in outreach settings a minimum of three days a week.
