The Ancient Tree Forum (ATF) is seeking a motivated and organised Technical and Engagement Officer to join our small, friendly and flexible team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a charity dedicated to safeguarding the UK’s ancient and veteran trees, along with their wildlife, heritage and cultural values.
This role is vital to achieving our strategic outcomes by providing expert technical advice, supporting and collaborating with the Technical Advisory Panel to develop authoritative guidance and publications. You will act as a key contact for public and stakeholder enquiries and contribute technical expertise to ATF’s communications across our website, newsletter, social media and press activity.
You will engage with sector networks, collaborate with partners and support strategic messaging. This role will help strengthen the charity’s visibility and impact in ancient and veteran tree conservation and protection.

We are looking to recruit a Technology Business Partner. The post-holder will play a pivotal role in driving modern Ways of Working and fostering technology adoption across the organisation. This hybrid position blends the responsibilities of a Business Analyst, Solutions Architect, Technical Trainer, and Mentor.
Acting as a vital link between technical teams and end users, the Technology Business Partner ensures that technology solutions are not only implemented effectively but are also embraced and utilised to their full potential.
Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you will take the time to understand each teams unique dynamics, operational objectives and technology needs, mapping out their processes and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
With strong experience in Microsoft 365, you will be confident in utilising tools such as Teams and SharePoint to enable individuals and departments to streamline and enhance their ways of working. You will play a key role in enabling and embedding digital working practices across Sands, helping to ensure the technology available supports day-to-day operations and long term strategic goals.
You will also be able to cope with demanding situations and work to tight deadlines, with the ability to think outside of the box and demonstrate an agile approach.

Myeloma UK is looking for a driven and pro-active Events Fundraiser to join our growing Community and Events team. You’ll be joining the team as we continue to refine and expand our mass participation events portfolio including London Paris Ride, Great North Run and 100 miles for myeloma. You will have experience in event delivery or project planning, delivering these activities within tight deadlines while successfully building effective relationships.
The role holder will have strong administration skills, attention to detail and work as part of a team. You will be self-motivated and able to work remotely with little supervision, managing a wide range of tasks and having an interest in sporting and mass participation fundraising events.
Previous experience or knowledge of digital marketing, virtual fundraising events and using Raiser’s Edge or similar CRM system would be an advantage but not essential.
About the role
As the Events Fundraiser you will be required to research, promote and deliver fundraising events, campaigns and activities, providing excellent stewardship to supporters, whilst working to help achieve monthly fundraising income targets. You will work to deliver an annual calendar of runs, walks, challenge and sporting events across the UK as well increasing support through Myeloma UK virtual and Facebook events.
The role holder will work with the Senior Event Development Fundraiser to provide the highest quality of event delivery as well as developing relationships, securing support, marketing, delivering and monitoring the event ensuring post event evaluation and future recommendations are made. They will also work closely with Community Fundraisers, supporting them as they identify opportunities to expand and diversify their fundraising portfolio.
You will work with other teams, develop materials required to support all marketing and promotion of events, ensuring organisational brand, style and key messages are adopted and ensure maximum use of database and other technology to increase operational efficiency within event fundraising.
