The Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Philanthropic Vision

About the role
You will be part of the regional office team, managing a group of casework administrators. The team provides specialist administrative support and act as a single point of contact to SSAFA branch-based volunteers ensuring that SSAFA beneficiaries receive consistent, timely, and high-quality service. The RCM role will involve developing and maintaining collaborative working relationships with volunteers, including branch-based casework managers. Additionally, the RCM will occasionally assist the Regional Casework Co-ordinators with call handling, signposting, and triaging initial client enquiries.
To help you establish yourself in this post you will receive excellent training and induction to SSAFA. You will influence the processes and procedures within the regional office as it develops, working closely with a dedicated team under the guidance of the Regional Manager.
Whilst the post is homebased, to be eligible for this role you are required to live in the North West region consisting of Cheshire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Isle of Man, Lancashire and Merseyside. You will occasionally be required to travel within the North West Region or to other locations.
About the team
The regional office is a “virtual” office and supports the six SSAFA branches in the North West of England region, as the branch-based volunteers deliver casework for SSAFA beneficiaries. The successful candidate will work as part of a larger support team which will include 5 Casework Administrators and a Regional Manager. All team members are home based, residing in the region.
About you
To excel in this role, you should have a solid educational background and experience in managing employees, as well as overseeing and reporting on service delivery. You should have a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, achieving results through negotiation and influence. Previous experience of working with volunteers would be advantageous. You will have used Microsoft Office 365 to a high standard and be capable of learning a computerised case management system quickly. Additionally, you should be skilled with numerical data.
The successful candidate will be capable of planning and managing their own workload, with minimal supervision and have considerable experience of managing accounts.
It would be desirable to have an understanding of the way of life for today’s Armed Forces, veterans and their families. An understanding of the voluntary sector would be valuable, and the military charity sector landscape across the North West Region would be beneficial. The role
As Policy Adviser, you will collaborate with Uplift’s team and key partners to ensure that our collective work is underpinned by robust and forward-thinking policy analysis. What we're looking for
This newly created Campaigns Manager role will be responsible for end-to-end campaign management across digital platforms including Advocate, our programmatic ad platform, and various social media channels. This includes strategy development, planning, coordination, execution, and optimization. Reporting to the Ad Ops Director in Canada, you'll work closely with the Accounts, Performance & Insights, and Product teams across Europe and the US to ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on budget, and on target.

The Soldiers' and Aviators' Scripture Readers Association (known as SASRA) is one of the longest-established Christian charities supporting the British Armed Forces. Under Royal patronage and working with over 70,000 soldiers, 30,000 RAF personnel and some 10,000 supporters of various types, we look to introduce members of the British Armed Forces to a practical experience of the Christian faith.
We are now looking for home-based Regional Managers to help us engage with the Christian public across the UK.
The main function of Regional Managers is to bring before the Christian public the work we do taking the gospel of Jesus Christ and bringing a practical experience of the Christian faith to the young people of the British Army and Royal Air Force.
The Regional Manager will present in churches, manage a team of volunteers, establish and maintain strategic partnerships across their region, lead regional projects and events, and produce and curate a wide variety of content.

Overview
FearFree delivers services across the Southwest for victims, children and perpetrators of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking, with the aim to break the cycle of abuse and support all to live free from fear. We provide trauma responsive support, and this post will be fundamental to ensuring service users, stakeholders and partners experience this in our daily delivery.
The aim of the Interpersonal Trauma Service is to improve the health, wellbeing and safety of people who have been exposed to trauma arising from sexual violence and abuse and/or domestic abuse.
You will work across a specified number of GP practices, to offer support to health professionals working in practices, people who have experience of interpersonal trauma arising from sexual violence and abuse and/or domestic abuse, as well as a service for people at risk of perpetrating abuse.
You and the team will provide training to GP surgeries to improve identification, enquiry, and response for patients. You and your team will also support adults and children who have been impacted by interpersonal trauma with emotional and practical support, focusing on trauma stabilisation. The team will be responsible for facilitating timely access to further appropriate support services where needed.

Key Responsibilities
- To provide specialist, individual and needs-led domestic abuse and sexual violence advocacy and support to patients who are or have experienced, who are referred from participating practices or self-refer, and to provide onward referrals where appropriate.
- Provide direct assessment, casework support, advice, information, and advocacy through telephone contact, and/or meetings at the relevant practice.
- Provide support to increase people’s personal safety, and that of any children, and inform them of their rights and options in terms of housing, legal and welfare rights.
- To provide signposting and onward referrals to patients.
- To provide ongoing specialist advice and support around Domestic Abuse (DA) and Sexual Violence (SV) to practice teams.
- To encourage general practice health professionals to ask patients about their experience of abuse and respond, record, safety check and refer.
- To provide feedback on case outcomes to referring clinicians.
- To collect and collate performance and monitoring data for reporting purposes.
- Provide in-house training and refresher training for general practice teams on understanding, recognising, and responding to DA and SV.
- Develop good working relationships and liaise with outside agencies where needed.
- Keep accurate records of all referrals received and of work done with or on behalf of service users.
- Deliver DA and SV training to clinicians and non-clinical staff in participating general practices.
- Develop a good relationship with all general practice staff and work effectively as part of the practice team.
- Contribute to monitoring and evaluation of the programme collecting required data and producing written reports as requested.

This is a key role in fulfilling CEASE’s aim to drive legislative reform that strengthens accountability, scrutiny and regulation of all parts of the commercial sex industry and other vested commercial interests, which are driving sexual violence, abuse and exploitation. It is about holding the UK government accountable in its duty to protect citizens from high-harm industries, appealing to robust evidence, survivor testimony and a careful critical analysis of the ideological justifications that uphold it.
The work crosses multiple different areas, from policing, online safety and child protection to violence against women and girls (VAWG). It involves close collaboration with experts and partner organisations through strategic partnerships and coalitions, and the building of trusted relationships with MPs, Peers, civil servants and other decision-makers.
This role sits within the Activism strand of CEASE’s strategy, alongside media outreach and commercial advocacy, and works closely with the Chief Executive and Strategic Director
Main Duties and Responsibilities
A. Strategic Leadership

Work closely and effectively with the Chief Executive, Strategic Director and Trustees to advise on priorities and opportunities within this space.

Develop both short- and long-term political strategies to engage key stakeholders with CEASE’s policy solutions.

Identify and formulate strategies for gathering robust evidence on key issues where needed.

Shape policy recommendations in line with CEASE’s strategic priorities and emerging trends.

Ensure all external engagement reflects CEASE’s values and core messaging.

Contribute political intelligence and insight to CEASE’s wider strategic planning and organisational development.
B. Policy
Goal: To ensure CEASE’s policy recommendations are robust, evidence-based, survivor-informed and coherent.

Gather and present evidence on commercial and cultural drivers of sexual abuse and exploitation, and on systemic failures in regulation and enforcement.

Identify evidence gaps and devise effective means for CEASE or partners within our networks to fill them.

Produce policy briefings and consultation responses for parliamentarians and civil servants, often in collaboration with allies.

Monitor parliamentary business in Westminster, analysing legislation and proposing amendments grounded in evidence and framed for maximum impact.

Develop CEASE’s positions on new and emerging issues and technologies in line with our mission.

Prepare speeches and statements for the Chief Executive or Strategic Director to deliver to parliamentarians, committees and inquiries.

Integrate survivor insight and lived experience into policy and advocacy materials wherever appropriate.

Analyse, distil and present research findings to provide credible, compelling evidence for policymakers and stakeholders.

Track engagement outcomes and evaluate the impact of CEASE’s policy work, sharing learning internally.
C. Public Affairs
Goal: To ensure CEASE’s policy recommendations are seen, heard and acted upon.

Create opportunities to promote CEASE’s policy solutions in Westminster through roundtables, drop-ins and parliamentary events.

Engage directly with decision-makers, building trusted relationships across parties and with key officials.

Identify and support parliamentarians who can champion CEASE’s issues through speeches, strategic questions, debate briefings and Private Members’ Bills.

Build and maintain relationships with MPs, Peers, civil servants and officials in relevant government departments (Home Office, DCMS, DfE, etc.); participate in select committees and APPGs.

Monitor the political landscape to identify alignment between CEASE’s goals and current government priorities, debates and legislative timetables.

Collaborate with colleagues to nurture relationships with key stakeholders such as charities, public bodies, academic institutions, industry figures and experts.

Lead or contribute to policy-focused coalitions and alliances aimed at influencing government and legislative reform.

Support wider campaigns that leverage coalition backing (e.g. petitions, iParls or media initiatives), aligning messaging across CEASE’s team to amplify impact.

Track and evaluate the reach and influence of CEASE’s public affairs activities to inform ongoing strategy.
D. Research

Maintain awareness of political and legal developments in other countries and international bodies such as the UN.

Commission or collaborate on research that strengthens CEASE’s evidence base and credibility.

Distil complex research and policy information into accessible formats for internal and external audiences, in collaboration with the Chief Executive and Strategic Director.

The Drive Partnership, formed by Respect, SafeLives and Social Finance, is working to transform the national response to perpetrators of domestic abuse. We work to end domestic abuse and protect victims by disrupting, challenging, and changing the behaviour of those who are causing harm. Together we have developed the Drive Project to address a gap in work with high-harm, high-risk perpetrators of domestic abuse. We also work to advocate for systems and policy change- to develop sustainable, national systems that respond more effectively to all perpetrators of domestic abuse.
In July of this year the Home Office announced a £53m investment over the next four years to enable the Drive Project to roll out across England and Wales. To end domestic abuse, we must address the source of the problem - the perpetrator. This funding will make a huge difference to our efforts to support survivors, by holding perpetrators to account, stopping them from causing further harm and giving them the chance to change.
Reporting to the Drive Director we are looking for a Drive Deputy Director to contribute to the leadership and management of the team in addition to building and nurturing strategic relationships with key stakeholders such as individuals, corporate partners, public sector organisations, and charitable trusts. Your remit will also include working collaboratively with the Head of Programmes and Managers, to develop a growth and business development strategy for each of our four core areas of work.

As the Transition and Recovery Service Team Manager you will oversee the Behavior change, and RISE Teams.

The RISE service provides focused support to those impacted by Domestic Abuse, Sexual Violence and Stalking, including people with harmful behaviors, to access education, training, employment or volunteering
As Team Manager, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a psychologically safe and supportive environment for staff working in emotionally demanding roles. You will lead with empathy and integrity, ensuring team members feel heard, valued, and empowered to raise concerns without fear. Through regular supervision, reflective practice, and wellbeing initiatives, you will promote resilience and mental health, enabling staff to deliver high-quality, trauma-informed support to survivors of domestic abuse.
