Job purpose:

The post holder will support the Digital Content Manager in implementing the Association’s digital strategy. They will create web content that is user focused, accessible and optimised for search engines. They will maintain a content schedule, coordinating activities across the organisation and will build relationships with a variety of subject matter experts. They will support the Digital Content Manager in managing the Association’s digital channels.

The postholder will play a key role in supporting the management of the Association’s digital campaigns and tracking and reporting on digital campaigns to guide improvements. They will create and edit digital designs for use on web, social media and email platforms and be responsible for working with colleagues across the Association to provide digital insight and training.

This role is based at our head office at 21 Portland Place, London. We offer a hybrid working arrangement with a minimum of 2 days in the office per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital

• Support the Digital Content Manager to review, develop and update the Association’s current website, and take a key role in the project to work on development of a new website.
• Support the management of the online community forum.
• Support the management of the Association app and any additional projects undertaken to further develop it.
• Act as a contact point with support agencies to swiftly resolve issues and to follow up developments.

Communications and social media

• Write and collate (including copyediting and proofreading where necessary) high quality, engaging content in line with agreed content priorities.
• Ensure content follows the Association’s brand guidelines, tone of voice and style guide.
• Work with colleagues to prepare, send and report on email campaigns on their behalf.
• Manage the Association’s social media presence, with the aim of reaching an increasingly broad audience.
• Create and edit digital designs for use on web, social media and email platforms, including filming and editing simple videos.
• Coordinate a digital content schedule across all channels for the organisation.
• Keep abreast of the latest innovations in digital communications and make suggestions for new ways of promoting the Association work and messages online.

Reporting

• Analyse campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising social media, content marketing, SEO and social advertising campaigns.

Skills, knowledge and experience 

Essential

• Proven experience in a digital communications role 
• Proven experience of using website content management systems (working knowledge of the DNN platform is desirable), including writing, preparing and uploading content, maintaining the backend and working with developers to develop functionality and solve technical issues
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios
• Excellent attention to detail 
• Extensive experience in online copywriting and publishing 
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines 
• Demonstrable experience of developing and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders

The Role

What will I be doing?

• Create a powerful alliance of Corporate Partners to influence science strategies and investment in areas such as advanced sensing, photonics, quantum technologies, semiconductors, renewable energy, autonomous systems and medtech
• Secure long-term relationships by delivering impactful services that meet partners’ needs: working with cross-organisation teams to drive take up of IOP membership, professional registrations, thought leadership articles and access to publishing content
• Manage risks and ensure financial sustainability of the Corporate Partners Alliance

Projects you work on may include:

• Deliver annual series of leadership visits to Corporate Partners organisations to explore interests and common priorities around skills, R&D, infrastructure and business support
• Manage and deliver science insights and advocacy activities with Corporate Partners, via high-level meetings with senior stakeholders in government, industry, finance and academia
• Facilitate ideation workshops, prepare briefings and produce reports to develop new insights and seed new activities to support IOP and partner priorities

Who will I work with?

• Executive Directors and Chief Technology Officers in large R&D intensive businesses
• IOP leadership and cross-organisational teams including our publishing company
• Closely with IOP Associate Director for Science, Business and Data Insights

You are likely to have the following experience

• Credibility in building corporate partnerships with c-suite and senior leaders in R&D intensive, large businesses
• Knowledge of working at the interface of government policy, business and academia regarding science, technology and innovation
• Experience of implementing projects that involve managing senior stakeholders and decision makers in business and securing income targets

Working as an integral part of the ED Navigator team, our successful candidate will identify and assess young victims of violence and provide a comprehensive and holistic assessment, advice, referral and support service, exploring innovative and effective ways of supporting them which will reduce their risk of re-victimisation.

You will produce support and risk management plans based on assessments, promoting inter-agency collaboration in the assessment and planning process, and deliver a holistic support service, working solo or with colleagues as the situation dictates, which will include providing practical help such as social and housing support, accompanying to appointments, ETE options and appearing in court. We will also count on you to develop and maintain relationships with partner agencies and to close cases efficiently and positively, identifying a referral route for the client that will identify agencies that can be used for ongoing support.

What we are looking for

• Personal experience of the criminal justice system, lived experience of the issues facing this client group and/or experience of working with ‘high risk’, vulnerable children, young people and/or families

• Experience in working as part of a multi-agency team

• Experience of using support plans, to enable people to successfully access support services

• Substantial experience of engaging successfully with ‘challenging’ young people

• To have a relevant qualification to a good standard or be working towards one

• A knowledge of relevant services for young people and their families in the service provision area

About the role

You will deliver high quality housing advice and advocacy in line with the hub’s local community priorities and work with people who are experiencing homelessness and bad housing to identify issues facing local communities.  You will plan and deliver casework to individuals and communities to resolve their housing situation and engage with community groups, local organisations and individuals to understand local housing issues and raise awareness of people’s rights.

The role also works in local community settings and with community groups to deliver advice and rights awareness workshops and make sure that people with lived experience of homelessness have opportunities to share their story, give their opinions and participate in the design and delivery of Shelter services. Offering day to day support to volunteers, providing learning, shadowing and mentoring and being a consistent role model for our values are also key aspects of the role.

About you

· You are able to listen to, engage and work with individuals and communities, including people with lived experience of homelessness.

· You will have experience, knowledge of and/or proven ability in housing and homelessness advice and advocacy and are able to progress to specialist level knowledge.

What could my day look like?

The Education Worker role is a frontline, fast-paced and rewarding role where no two weeks will look the same. A typical day will have different activities, possibly spread between the IntoUniversity centre, partner schools and the offices of a corporate partner.

In the morning, you might be setting off with resources to run a workshop for sixth-form students in their secondary school. In the afternoon you may be setting up the classroom ahead of running Primary Academic Support for young people in your IntoUniversity centre. About the role

Citizens Advice Enfield is a busy service helping around 6,000 clients a year to solve around 25,000 problems. We are open 5 days a week and currently operate a telephone adviceline triage service from 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday.

Our priority commissioned areas are Benefits, Debt and Housing and we have a small team of caseworkers for each. Appointments are booked through a combination of self-referral via the adviceline and referrals from funded partners.

Role Description

The purpose of the role is to work with the Head of Service and Quality, Project Manager and the Trainer to ensure smooth running of the day-to-day service and to mentor and support paid advice staff and volunteers to maintain national Citizens Advice standards.

This will involve:

• Supervising advice and gateway/triage sessions and caseworkers
• Supporting the delivery of the training and development plan along with the rest of the team
• Providing mentoring and support to caseworkers, advisers and adviceline Team members (gateway/triage volunteers) as required by the Service and Quality Manager and in line with the needs of the overall service

St Giles and The Wise Group came together to form a partnership with the aim of supporting the Probation Resettlement reforms by offering a high-quality service underpinned by staff who have lived experience and cultural competency. As a result, we have been awarded contracts to deliver Women’s Services for North Yorkshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, and Durham. The service will provide holistic support to sentenced women in the community and those sentenced and un-sentenced in custodial settings.

About this key role

Our successful candidate will monitor and manage the receipt of referrals from Probation through the Customer Approved System (CAS) ensuring they are successfully assigned to Personal Wellbeing Coaches using the appropriate guidance and process, ensure all inputting is accurate and within agreed timescales, plus provide regular activity reports to the Personal Wellbeing Manager.  You will be the primary point of contact for all enquiries, external and internal to ensure communication channels are clear and effective, while also liaising with external stakeholders (e.g. Prisons), delivery partners, spot purchase providers and other agencies to arrange appointments, referrals, and generally ensure information exchanged is done in a clear, timely and effective manner.

Monitor and manage the Case management systems to ensure all inputting is accurate and within agreed timescales and provide regular activity reports to the Senior Administrator. Providing administration for meetings, including bookings, invitations and minute-taking, are also vital duties.

What we are looking for

• Experience of managing a case management system including inputting data and creating reports.
• ·Experience of working in services providing administrative support in a busy, pressurised environment.
• Experience of working in services which provide support to people who have faced adversity and disadvantage.
• Ability to develop and maintain means by which compliance with policy and procedure can be effectively monitored and reported on including financial expenditure.
• Ability to manage their workload including prioritising tasks and communicating with colleagues where delegation or allocation is required.

As Senior Communications Officer, you will be working closely with the Head of Marketing Communications to help plan, create and deliver, with the help of specialists across teams, the Trust’s annual communication plan.

You’ll be responsible for leading communications projects, campaigns and day-to-day activities. You will be delivering creative content and marketing across a range of platforms - both digital and offline –that support the Trust’s Wilder 2030 strategy and showcases the Trust’s work. This will result in bringing nature’s story to life in order to expand the charity’s reach into new and wider audiences and bringing new supporters on board.

You will be able to think creatively, within a fast-paced environment where no day is the same, as well as be comfortable delivering key tasks and mucking in when all hands are needed on deck.

You will be comfortable with the relevant platform analytics to report on progress against agreed key performance indicators.

This senior role is for a highly creative, confident, robust and professional communications individual, who will be working closely with the Head of Marketing Communications and wider team to help plan, create and activate the Trust’s annual communication plan. 

You will:

• Deliver creative communications activities and branded digital content campaigns across the Trust’s key communications channels to increase the Trust’s reach, develop new audiences and convert initial awareness of SWT into measurable engagement/action for nature.
• Devise a plan with tactics to grow the Trust’s key communications channels and digital communities and increase engagement using engaging and dynamic content.
• Provide communications support and project management for a range of exciting projects and campaigns across the whole organisation, liaising with the internal Directorate teams to do so
• Liaise with the central Wildlife Trust (RSWT) team on national campaigns and communications.
• Track analytics and create regular reports detailing effectiveness of communications campaigns and our digital channels.
• Day to day guidance and project oversight for the wider communications team to support them to deliver a high-quality service to the wider organisation and inspire innovation and improvement in all that the team delivers.

Job Description – Key Responsibilities and Tasks

Responsibility 1: Leading Digital Channels 

• Designing and implementation of SWT’s digital and social media content plan (for both paid and organic content) with the support of the Content & Communications Officer, ensuring it complements the Trust’s overall Wilder Somerset 2030 strategic goals and objectives, marketing plans, key campaigns, engagement and fundraising activity. Driving the high performance and growth of SWT’s social channels – ensuring increasing engagement and reach.
• Working with and supporting the Content & Communications Officer to create a calendar of high-quality engaging, range of content for sharing across internal and external marketing communications channels in support of the strategic vision, ensuring consistency in terms of tone of voice, branding, messaging and frequency of communications across all key channels. The Senior Communications Officer’s social media content plan will aim to grow all SWT’s social media and digital communities and increase organic engagement.
• Expanding reach to bring new supporters on board with the Trust’s mission, to get involved with SWT’s work across the county, take action for nature, and to grow membership and income.
• Working closely with the Website & Email Lead to understand and optimise user journeys and conversions between social channels and the website, and providing support and counsel to the Website & Email Lead with regards to the delivery of impactful email campaigns to support key integrated projects, campaigns and core strategy programmes. Also providing support and guidance on ensuring the website is as effective a channel as it should be as a central destination hub for social and digital journeys.
• Liaising with the Wildlife Trust (RSWT) central office to ensure central content and advocacy campaigns are delivered as agreed on local social channels with local messaging and that the Somerset message is clear, with the use of local case studies and stories.
• With the Content & Communications Officer, and liaising with external providers where necessary, providing brand design support for communications collateral, reports, newsletters, brochures, flyers, posters and presentations. Using appropriate software (e.g., Canva, Adobe, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) for a range of audiences, creating templates where appropriate for internal staff to utilise to deliver small-scale projects independently.

Responsibility 2: Marketing & PR

• Marketing opportunities including a range of channels from print, media, events to paid online adverts.
• Developing strong relationships with local and national journalists and be the lead day-to-day SWT media contact for press enquiries, with the Content & Communications Officer taking on administrative press office tasks and handling some incoming queries.
• Recommending and developing feature ideas for key publications working up ideas with colleagues across the Trust, selling in stories, and coordinating the provision of spokespeople, background information and logistics.
• Working with, and providing guidance to the Content & Communications Officer, creating and distributing targeted press releases or media alerts where appropriate, following up with key media contacts to maximise coverage and amplify SWT’s successes and impact.
• Be alert and responsive to the news agenda, keeping abreast of issues affecting the Trust and identifying PR opportunities and trends on social media that SWT can engage with, whilst also horizon planning for key contentious issues so as to provide PR support during crisis and major issues.

Responsibility 3: Project Management & Reporting

• With excellent project management and coordination skills you will work with internal stakeholders to design, coordinate and deliver bespoke plans to support a range of key projects across the year such as appeals, big events, campaigns and nature recovery projects.
• Working with the team to deliver any relevant communications training or resources to make available to staff.
• Supervising the monitoring and measurement of campaigns and their success, and reporting key KPIs to internal stakeholders on a monthly basis.
• Internal communications - updating the staff portal on Sharepoint with regards to communication assets, training and resources.
• Representing the Communications Team along with others across the Trust as part of the Trust’s project management working group, feeding back on best practice and new innovations that result in a consistent approach to project management.

In this role, the individual will work as part of a multidisciplinary NHS team—alongside clinicians, social workers, and community partners—to support adults with moderate to severe mental illness. They will hold a caseload of service users, acting as a key point of contact and contributing to care planning, progress monitoring, and discharge support, using the RiO clinical records system. Working collaboratively with service users, they will co-develop person-centred recovery plans that prioritise social goals and community integration. Building strong therapeutic relationships using trauma-informed and strength-based approaches, they will support individuals in achieving personal recovery goals. The role includes helping service users access local resources, attend appointments, and engage in wellbeing activities, peer support, and psychoeducational groups. The individual will promote recovery-focused, jargon-free communication, advocate for co-production and integrated care, and liaise with both statutory and voluntary sector organisations to support effective service navigation. They will attend clinical meetings and community events, representing both Hestia and the Community Mental Health Team, while maintaining accurate, timely documentation of all support activities and risk assessments. Safe and ethical practice is essential, including adherence to safeguarding protocols, health and safety procedures, and quality standards. Ongoing supervision, training, clinical oversight, and participation in annual appraisals will also form part of this role.

Here's what the team will be looking for

The ideal candidate will have an NVQ Level 4 in Care (or equivalent) or at least two years' experience working in a mental health setting. The candidate should have knowledge of care planning, risk assessment, recovery tools, and relevant legislation such as the Mental Health Act. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and group facilitation skills are essential, as is the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in IT systems, including electronic case management tools, is required. The candidate must be resilient, adaptable, and able to maintain clear professional boundaries, with a strong commitment to person-centred, trauma-informed practice. We are looking for a Supported Housing Support Worker to join our Cook Road, Horsham team, who will hold a caseload of residents and meet with them weekly to build a support plan. Main areas of responsibilities are:

Housing

• Coach young people to manage their occupancy agreement and adhere to house rules, in preparation for independent living. 
• Promote a credit culture, encouraging young people to keep up to date with all payments for rent.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of housing and welfare benefits for young people and be well-informed on significant changes to housing law.
• Deal effectively with non-compliance issues, such as non-payment of rent or damage to room, using restorative practices and working collaboratively with the rest of the team.

Coaching and Engagement

• Coach young people so they can articulate their aspirations and ambitions and take the lead in acquiring the skills they need to live independent and fulfilling lives.
• Ensure young people are encouraged to take responsibility for their own personal development, to engage with the services on offer and build strong networks and connections within the local community. 
• Ensure consistent standards of safeguarding and Trauma Informed Practice when supporting young people, observing our safeguarding procedures, and keeping yourself and residents safe by respecting professional boundaries.
• Maintain client records on In-Form (client database) detailing the young person’s journey in relation to their strengths and needs, any risks, and any outcomes (to monitor service performance). 

General 

• Work as part of a team, on a rota shift pattern, ensuring young people at the service have non-judgemental, objective, and supportive staff during the day/evening, along with taking responsibility for personal safety during periods of lone working
• Contribute to a great working environment, with a calm, yet assertive manner, being able to handle potentially difficult situations.
• Participate in relevant continuing professional development and utilise Reflective Practice Supervision as part of leading psychologically informed practice.

• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, including signposting and advocating for clients as necessary.

• Clear verbal and written communication skills, good IT, and keyboard skills.

Shelter Manchester are recruiting for a number of Housing Rights Workers to cover our city wide advice service.

As Housing Rights Worker, you will deliver high quality housing advice and advocacy in line with the hub’s local community priorities. This will involve working alongside people who are experiencing homelessness and bad housing to identify issues facing local communities.  You will plan and deliver casework to individuals and communities to resolve their housing situation, networking and engaging with community groups, local organisations and individuals to understand local housing issues and raise awareness of housing rights.

You will also work within local community settings and alongside community groups, delivering advice and rights awareness workshops. You will ensure that people with lived experience of homelessness have opportunities to share their story, give their views and participate in the design and delivery of Shelter services. You will offer day to day support to volunteers, provide learning, shadowing and mentoring and be a consistent role model for Shelter’s values.

About you

You will have the ability to engage and work collaboratively with individuals, communities and with all stakeholders, including running group workshops and presentations. You have experience, knowledge of and/or proven ability in housing and homelessness advice and advocacy, with the ability to progress to specialist level knowledge. Essential to the role will be good time management, carrying out casework related interviews, maintaining detailed case records and offering advice and support to clients to inform their decisions.
