Trust fundraising at Battersea has grown significantly over the past few years, from £1m in 2022 to £2.6m in 2025. Working closely with another Trusts Manager, the Trusts Officer and Trusts Lead, you will secure vital funding from Trusts and Foundations to support the welfare of dogs and cats across the UK and internationally.

As the Trusts Manager, you will manage your own portfolio of five-figure Trust donors and take ownership of relationships to secure funding from both existing and new supporters. You will also support the Trusts Officer to deliver bi-annual Small Trusts Mailings and the Trusts Lead to deliver significant partnerships.

You will be proactive and motivated, with a passion for animal welfare and an aptitude for building relationships. You are a strong communicator with excellent writing skills which will enable you - with support from the team - to craft compelling funding proposals that resonate with donors.

This is a key interim leadership role focused on stability, continuity and care for Sahir during a period of transition.

Bioregional Learning Centre (BLC) is a place-based systems-change organisation rooted in South Devon. We work with communities, institutions and landscapes to grow the capacities needed for a regenerative, climate resilient, bioregional future.

We are seeking a Bioregional Learning Manager to help design and run a new learning programme in bioregional practice and to coordinate the emerging Bioregional Learning Alliance – an international community of practitioner-educators.

This is a new kind of role. We’re not looking for a ‘finished article’ or a conventional academic. We’re looking for someone who is values-led, curious and organised, and who wants to co-create something pioneering alongside others.

The role

You will:

• Co-design and evolve a practice-led curriculum in bioregional learning and leadership (online and in-person).
• Plan and manage courses and events, including a South Devon learning pathway and international partner offers.
• Coordinate the BLA, supporting meetings, communication and light-touch governance.
• Build and steward relationships with practitioners, communities and partner institutions (including universities and learning centres).
• Support communications, evaluation and programme administration (budgets, contracts, logistics).

Essential skills & experience

We expect you to bring most of the following:

• Deep alignment with regenerative, place-based and more-than-human ways of working
• Experience designing, coordinating or delivering adult / professional learning (formal or informal)
• Strong project and event management skills: planning, scheduling and managing multiple strands
• Confidence holding participatory online and/or in-person learning spaces
• Excellent written and verbal communication, comfortable engaging with diverse stakeholders
• Ability to work both collaboratively in a small team and independently

• Practical experience in bioregioning, regenerative design, community organising, landscape stewardship, or related fields.

• Some experience of working with both the Global North and Global South.
• Experience with fundraising or developing paid learning offers.

We are seeking a creative, driven, and strategic Campaigns Coordinator to deliver our current high-impact campaigns with a view to exposing the cruel animal agriculture industries, influencing decision-makers, and mobilising the public to create lasting change for farmed animals.

Working closely with team members, the Campaigns Coordinator will design and deliver imaginative campaigns while working in alignment with the organisation’s wider mission: to end factory farming. The role requires initiative, creativity, tenacity, and a solutions-focused mindset, as well as the discipline to execute projects effectively and professionally.

The Campaigns Coordinator will report to the Executive Director and work closely with others across our UK and international teams. The appointee will play a key role in coordinating and inspiring volunteers and external stakeholders.

The Campaigns Coordinator will have opportunities to travel across the UK and internationally to organise and lead peaceful demonstrations, ensuring Animal Equality maintains a visible, strategic, and compelling presence at key decision-making moments. While not common, occasional evening or weekend work may be necessary to support campaigning activities. Any additional hours worked and agreed with your Manager can be reclaimed as TOIL.

The UK Health Alliance on Climate Change (UKHACC) is a registered charity that brings together the UK’s leading health organisations, representing more than one million health professionals, to advocate for responses to climate change that protect and promote health. Through coordinated, collective action, the Alliance communicates the relationship between health and climate change to government, the public and other health professionals.

The Director will be responsible for the Alliance’s overall strategy, oversight of the communications, policy and public affairs programmes, projects, and engagement with Alliance members and key external stakeholders. Kairos Women Working Together (Kairos) was founded in 1999 by a group of women in Coventry who recognised that those facing multiple disadvantages, and therefore most at risk of sexual exploitation, were falling through the cracks of existing services. From grassroots beginnings, Kairos has grown into a respected, feminist led, specialist women’s organisation rooted in the community it serves.

Over the next 5 years, Kairos will strengthen our new Women’s Hub as a safe, accessible, trauma-informed women’s centre delivering best practice responses, expand our services to meet women’s needs, strengthen partnerships, and influence systems so that no woman is left behind.

Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will be the custodian of our financial strategy, compliance, and data integrity. Overview of Post

The Finance & Impact Lead is a strategic role responsible for ensuring the overall financial health and sustainability, compliance, and demonstrable impact of the charity. A member of the Senior Leadership Team and reporting to the Chief Executive, the role encompasses leading the financial strategy, overseeing the annual budgeting and forecasting cycles, managing all day-to-day financial operations (including statutory accounts, audit, and cashflow), and maintaining strong financial controls. Additionally, this position acts as the custodian of organisational data, focusing on developing systems for data collection, ensuring compliance, and translating complex financial and performance data into clear, compelling reports that demonstrate the charity’s effectiveness and impact to trustees, funders, and senior leadership.

Main Responsibilities

Financial Leadership & Strategy

• Lead the organisation’s financial strategy, ensuring sustainability and alignment with mission and organisational priorities.

• Provide clear, high-level financial insight and modelling to support strategic decision-making. 

• Monitor organisational performance against budget with variance analysis and recommendations.

Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting

• Oversee the annual budgeting cycle and produce accurate forecasts highlighting trends, risks and opportunities.

• Work with the Senior Leadership Team to produce robust budgets, forecasts and narrative insights.

Financial Management, Controls & Reporting

• Produce high-quality accounts and financial analysis to inform decision making.

• Ensure strong financial controls, compliance with statutory obligations and effective cashflow management.

• Lead all year-end processes, statutory accounts and the external audit/examination, ensuring compliance with the requirements of the Charity Commission, Companies House, HMRC and the Pensions Regulator.

• Oversee and manage day to day finance operations, including income processing, expenditure, payroll, banking and cash management. 

• Manage month-end processes, reconciliations and the preparation of quarterly management accounts for Trustees.

Grant, Contract & Fund Management

• Work with the Fundraising and Development Lead to formulate funding bids to maximize sustainable income and to ensure expenses are not double funded.

• Ensure all funders are invoiced promptly and in accordance with contract schedules to support timely receipt of funds and maintain healthy cash flow.

• Provide costings, financial models and value-for-money analysis for bids and contracts.

• Track expenditure against funder requirements, ensuring accurate, timely reporting.

• Oversee the procurement and management of key contracts such as IT, facilities, suppliers and insurance, to ensure efficiency and value. 

Data Stewardship & Evidence Generation

• Act as the custodian of organisational data, ensuring data integrity, completeness and GDPR-compliant processes.

• Develop and maintain data-collection systems that capture financial, operational, outcomes and impact information.

• Work with the services leads to gather high-quality quantitative and qualitative data that reflects women’s experiences.

Impact Reporting & Insight

• Produce clear, compelling financial, performance and impact reports for senior leadership, trustees, funders and commissioners.

• Translate complex data into meaningful insights that demonstrate organisational impact, effectiveness and growth.

• Support strategic planning and funding bids with evidence-based insight and scenario analysis.

Person Specification 

Qualifications

• Professionally qualified accountant (CCAB body such as CIPFA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent, with evidence of CPD.

• Additional training or experience in impact measurement, ESG, or sustainability reporting desirable.

Experience

• Significant experience in charity finance, including management accounting, budgeting, and SORP-compliant reporting.

• Demonstrable experience of KPI-based reporting and funding compliance.

• Experience in impact measurement and/or ESG reporting in the charity or social enterprise sector desirable

• Experience leading audits, preparing statutory accounts, and managing Gift Aid and VAT for charities.

• Track record of improving financial controls and processes.

• Experience with finance systems (e.g. Quickbooks) and data integration.

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of Charities SORP (FRS 102), fund accounting, and charity sector regulations.

• Strong understanding of impact measurement frameworks (e.g. Theory of Change, Social Return on Investment, ESG standards).

• Advanced analytical skills, including financial modelling and impact analysis.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to non-finance audiences.

Kairos Women Working Together (Kairos) was founded in 1999 by a group of women in Coventry who recognised that those facing multiple disadvantages, and therefore most at risk of sexual exploitation, were falling through the cracks of existing services. From grassroots beginnings, Kairos has grown into a respected, feminist led, specialist women’s organisation rooted in the community it serves.

Over the next 5 years, Kairos will strengthen our new Women’s Hub as a safe, accessible, trauma-informed women’s centre delivering best practice responses, expand our services to meet women’s needs, strengthen partnerships, and influence systems so that no woman is left behind.

To do this we are seeking an organised, empathetic, and proficient individual to ensure the smooth operation of our hub.

This part-time role provides essential front-of-house support—greeting and assisting women arriving at the hub with sensitivity and professionalism —while also handling a broad range of administrative duties. From digital communications to accurate data entry & record keeping, ordering supplies and liaising with key partners and contractors you’ll help ensure our hub is kept safe, clean and ready for us to welcome visitors and women attending our groups and services.

Overview of Post

The Operations & Administration Support role is a vital part-time position responsible for the seamless operational flow of Kairos. Key duties encompass a broad range of administrative functions, from managing the main email inbox and creating visual content to accurate data entry and essential record-keeping. The role provides front-of-house support, welcoming women and visitors attending our Women’s Hub and ensuring its smooth running through monitoring and ordering essential supplies and liaising with CV Life regarding building maintenance and cleaning services. The role requires an organised, empathetic, and proficient administrator capable of supporting front line staff and the Senior Leadership Team. 

Main Responsibilities

Digital & Communications

• Manage the admin email inbox, responding to all queries promptly and forwarding communications to relevant staff members as appropriate 

• Open, scan, and distribute post to appropriate recipients 

• Use online graphic design tools to create visual content such as posters, signs and information sheets for use in the Women’s Hub and on social media.

• Assist the Senior Leadership Team in website updates and social media content. 

Reception

• Welcome women arriving at the Women’s Hub with empathy and professionalism, responding with particular sensitivity to any who may be distressed 

• Use knowledge of local services, advocacy, and rights to direct women to appropriate support, so ensuring no one leaves without assistance or alternative referral options 

• Welcome visitors and external partners attending meetings, assisting in preparation of refreshments as required 

• Assist the Support & Services Lead in ordering bus passes

Compliance & Governance

• Assist the Support & Services Lead in maintaining safeguarding records and procedures, entering and updating concerns on the log.

• Assist colleagues in maintaining an accurate record of women attending groups and services, entering individual service user details onto the database.

• Maintain and circulate a quarterly policy review schedule to the Senior Leadership Team. 

• Coordinate policy update processes and distribution

Financial & Procurement Management

• Administer procurement processes for office supplies and equipment 

• Assist the Finance & Impact Lead during contract reviews and negotiations, e.g. by researching best value and actively requesting charity discounts from suppliers 

• Assist Finance & Impact Lead in reviewing service contracts for energy, phone, internet, and insurance

Facilities & Building Management

• Assist the team in ensuring the Women’s Hub and courtyard is clean, tidy and free of rubbish, ready to welcome women and visitors. 

• Manage and monitor waste collection schedules (general waste, recycling, food waste) and coordinate sanitary bin and confidential waste collections 

• Maintain stock levels of essential supplies (e.g. toilet rolls, paper towels, soap, health and safety products) 

• Liaise with CV Life regarding building maintenance and repairs, and with cleaning services 

• Arrange annual PAT testing of all electrical equipment 

• Assist the designated Health & Safety Officer in

  • conducting periodic checks of the security alarm systems and access procedures 

  • identifying and resolving health and safety issues, maintaining accurate incident logs

Relationship Management

• Maintain positive relationships with key service providers 

• Support SLT, front line team and volunteers with operational queries, liaising with contractors as required.

HR Administration Support

• Conduct annual driving license checks for staff who drive for work

• Verify MOT and tax status for vehicles used for work purposes

Health and Safety

• Assist the designated Health and Safety Officer in conducting and recording risk assessments and monitoring their implementation 

• Record workplace accidents

• Maintain supplies of condoms and pregnancy tests, liaising with Public Health

IT & Equipment Management

• Manage inventory of laptops and mobile phones, and assist the Support & Services Lead by logging and monitoring SIM cards.

• Liaise with IT service provider for equipment procurement and technical support 

• Coordinate laptop setup and configuration for new staff 

• Assist Finance & Impact Lead in procuring replacement devices as needed, seeking best value options 

• Manage and review mobile phone contracts
