About The Role:
As a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), you will share collective responsibility for managing Wandsworth Carers’ Centre (WCC) services and delivering its strategic goals.
You will be directly responsible for the management of frontline support staff (currently 3 in number) and for the volunteers aligned to those staff members/services. You will provide advocacy, referral and ongoing practical and emotional support to Carers through individual and group work as required, facilitating the monthly Male Carers peer support group and overseeing the volunteer led Male Carers Social group.
You will work collaboratively with other local agencies delivering training and undertaking outreach and in developing and maintaining partnerships and referral pathways that support Carers’ health and wellbeing.
You will share responsibility for improving, developing and growing the services to ensure that they continue to effectively meet changing needs. This will include generating new ideas for services and projects and writing fundraising applications.

Purpose of the Role: As a key leader within our Partnerships and Income Development team, you will be responsible for driving sustainable income growth through high-impact, strategic and philanthropic partnerships with trusts, foundations and corporate partners.
Reporting to the Head of Partnerships and Income Development, you will lead the stewardship and growth of existing strategic partnerships, including managing a select portfolio of funders. You will also take a proactive approach to identifying, cultivating and securing new funding opportunities to align with income targets and the charity’s strategy.
Working collaboratively with colleagues across the charity, you will craft compelling cases for support – placing young people’s voices and experiences at the heart of every proposal. In addition, you’ll help to build and nurture our supporter community through initiatives such as payroll giving, individual giving and corporate community fundraising.

Fundraising experience
- Demonstrable experience of working in a fundraising role in a charity or similar non-profit organisation

Purpose of the Role
The Membership & Communications Manager is a new part time role at the School Partnerships Alliance, reporting to the Chief Executive and working closely with our Executive Assistant. You will join us at an exciting time as we develop our new organisational strategy and expand our current school membership offer. As this is a new position this post does not currently have direct reports, but there may be an opportunity to recruit additional team member(s) as the organisation continues to grow over the next 12-18 months. You will be required to work closely with both our CEO and Director of Programmes and Research to lead on the development and delivery of the membership strategy, both stewarding and growing our membership base year on year. You will also be required to manage our new website, provide support with our social media, and ensure that all member communications align with both our brand values and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver a new, robust membership strategy that supports the S.P.A.’s key objectives. This will include new member acquisition, current member retention and ensuring that stewardship of school members is effective and fit for purpose. You will work with the Director of Programmes and Research to help deliver a credible school partnerships CPD programme and collaborate with the wider S.P.A. team to create a tangible, attractive membership offer (both on and off-line) that will bring schools together, challenge existing partnership practice and support new thinking.
- Actively identify, solicit and enrol new schools as members, building and maintaining an evolving pipeline of new membership prospects.
- Plan and prepare for meetings with current and potential members and accompany CEO and/or Director of Programmes and Research to cultivation meetings where appropriate.
- Be the first point of call for all members and with the support of the Executive Assistant to the CEO, oversee the processing of all new membership applications, renewals and invoices and ensure all enquiries from existing and prospective members are responded to in a timely manner.

- Oversee the membership budget and provide quarterly income forecasts and reports to the CEO and Trustees, monitoring and reporting against income targets.

At an exciting time in JGDR's fundraising, we are looking for volunteering & community fundraising officers to support our communities in North Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire. It is a great opportunity to join a passionate team.
Hours: 35 hours per week (with occasional weekend and evening working as and when the role requires)
Location: This is a hybrid role, with regular travel required across the North Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire regions, including visits to our charity shops and centres. Weekend and evening work will be expected, as and when the role requires. Post holders will be expected to be working flexibly across their community 4 days out of 5 – with at least one day per week from our North Lincolnshire Centre – and attend regular team meetings in an agreed location.

Job summary
We are looking for a proactive, confident and supporter-focused fundraiser to build and manage relations with JGDR’s local community across North Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire. Working with the Volunteering and Community Fundraising Manager, you will deliver a strategy to grow income and volunteer numbers from the local community. This is a varied role which will cover:
· Stewarding and recruiting supporters undertaking their own fundraising activities, including those taking part in challenge events
· Organising & attending local events to raise awareness and income
· Proactively approaching and working with local &national businesses
· Recruiting and overseeing a network of volunteers who can support income generation in your local area. This role would suit a target-driven, approachable and resourceful fundraiser with ambition and drive – there is plenty of opportunity to make this role your own and drive forward growth in these crucial income streams.
Your role
You will sit in the Volunteering and Community Fundraising team, and report to the Volunteering and Community Fundraising Manager. You will manage your own time to effectively balance both developing and stewarding relationships with individual and corporate supporters in the local area and working through a network of volunteers to deliver fundraising and retail objectives.
You will develop and grow strong relationships with supporters, collaborating with colleagues across the wider organisation to ensure you are offering the best supporter experience you can. You will attend local events with, and through, volunteers, work with colleagues in our retail and operation sites, and spot other opportunities to promote JGDR in your community and drive support for our work.
You will deliver excellent stewardship to supporters and volunteers and develop relationships with key local contacts who can help to further JGDR’s mission. You will champion supporter care and ensure that all relevant supporter information is stored on JGDR’s CRM, Donorflex.
Key responsibilities
Community fundraising
· Identify, engage, and steward DIY and community fundraisers, developing strategies to promote fundraising activities in these groups and grow income from your local area
· Proactively pursue local business partnership opportunities, developing a pipeline of potential corporate support and making applications to secure support
· Provide high quality stewardship of supporters, groups and businesses within the community, responding to enquiries in a timely way and ensuring relationships are developed and maintained at a high standard
· Represent JGDR as the first point of contact within the community, promoting our mission, vision, and values alongside fundraising and volunteer opportunities
· Ensure that Donorflex is up-to-date and develop regular reporting mechanisms to inform the Volunteering and Community Fundraising Manager of outputs and results, and support understanding of the local audiences, including individual supporters, local businesses, and volunteers, and their historical engagement with the charity
Volunteering
· Work with the Volunteering and Community Fundraising Manager and Volunteering Administration Assistant to recruit, induct and train volunteers to support fundraising and other relevant initiatives in the local community
· Via volunteer support, oversee the distribution of collection boxes in your local area, monitoring and reporting on income generated
· Coordinate and attend – supported by a network of volunteers – key local events, e.g. county shows, to raise awareness of JGDR in the local community and drive support for the charity amongst target audience groups.
· Ensure JGDR retail shops, and their volunteers, in your area have relevant and timely information on current fundraising campaigns and other initiatives to share with customers
· Ensure that the Volunteering database, Volunteero, is up to date
Other duties
· Contribute content for social media, fundraising newsletters, publications and local media to support marketing objectives and increase our engagement with adopters, supporters and donors online
· Keep up to date with sector trends and developments in community and regional fundraising, and volunteering
· Ensure all fundraising activities and events operate within best practice and regulatory guidelines and comply with health and safety requirements.
· Act as a champion for fundraising compliance across the organisation, including ensuring adherence to the Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Fundraising Practice, the General Data Protection Act and PECR, and other relevant legislative requirements.
· Manage any complaints from supporters efficiently and sensitively
· Act as a collaborative role model to the wider team, and build strong working relationships with colleagues across the wider charity to be an internal ambassador for Fundraising and Marketing

We are now seeking to recruit a Membership Coordinator on a contract basis to support at a busy time of growth. The role holder will work within the Membership Team, responsible for the philanthropic income from Friends and Patrons, and undertake the efficient administration of the membership programme whilst providing first-class customer service to keep our Friends and Patrons engaged and valued.
This role will suit a candidate who has strong experience in a customer-facing environment (ideally in a membership organisation and/or box office) and is able to use diplomacy in dealing with a variety of different customer groups. Onboarding & Immersion: Dive deep and achieve a comprehensive understanding of Scotty’s operating system (The Scotty’s OS), our values, our behaviours, our mission, and the significant impact we have. This will happen through intro meetings with everyone on the team and a tailored onboarding program.

Grant Portfolio Audit & Handover: Conduct an audit of our existing grant portfolio, reviewing active grants, reporting schedules, and our funder relationships. We'll begin the handover process for existing relationships with the Head of Fundraising, ensuring a smooth transition.

Funder Engagement & Feedback: Reach out and initiate contact with at least 5 key existing funders. This is about listening, gathering their valuable feedback, understanding their priorities, and beginning to build those personal, trusting rapports.

The Role
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Support and Governance, the role works alongside the Fundraising Supporter Services and Standards Manager, Retail Operations Manager and Retail Support & Projects Manager. The role will work closely with key stakeholders across Sue Ryder predominantly to focus on fundraising operational compliance and provide leadership and assurance guidance for Retail and other commercial operations that Sue Ryder develop in the future.
You will support the development and implementation of a compliance framework across fundraising operations at Sue Ryder which includes, maintaining awareness of external legal and regulatory requirements, engaging stakeholders to review and update policies, work with subject matter experts to create compliance processes and training.
You will also build and maintain reporting and other mechanisms which clearly identify where assurance is available or where not, providing leaders with data to focus on improving compliance.
