Job description

About the role

A confident content designer, you’ll use data and insight to understand user journeys and develop content to best meet the needs of our audiences.

You’ll deliver day-to-day improvements to website content and journeys. You’ll support the delivery of our website strategy, working closely with Product, UX and Content colleagues. And you’ll help embed content design techniques and processes at the charity by showing what great, user-centric content looks like.

What you’ll do:

  • Design, test and optimise accessible, on brand content that meets identified user needs.

  • Report on user behaviour and website performance to inform continual improvement of our content.

  • Do regular quality assurance and implement SEO and accessibility improvements.

  • Build strong relationships with other teams to improve content for a range of users accessing our website and other digital products.

  • Champion user-centric content design, and advocate for the user in decision making.

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience of using evidence, data and research to design content.

  • Experience in content design techniques like user journey mapping, job stories, prototyping, pair writing and content crits.

  • Ability to gather insights using tools like Google Analytics and Hotjar.

  • Excellent writing skills, able to make complex language and processes easy to understand, and to work to brand guidelines.

  • Experience of building strong relationships with diverse stakeholders and communicating effectively about content design.

This is an exciting time for Parkinson’s UK and we would love you to join us!

Interviews for this role will be held from the 16 June 2025.
