Project Development Manager

Position: Project Development Manager

Location: Hybrid working: Two days a week in our London (White City) office or Bolton office, combined with home-working and frequent UK travel

Salary: £50,000–£55,000 per annum

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (flexible working available)

This exciting new role will lead on developing positive relationships with senior Council officers and local politicians building strong partnerships to pave the way for new Youth Zones. Once a new Youth Zone project is fully committed to, you’ll continue to manage key relationships through the crucial early period (1-2 years) – handing over as each Youth Zone’s first CEO comes into post.

The Head of Data & Technology will play a central role in delivering our mission to transform outcomes for everyone affected by ovarian cancer. This is a newly created leadership role, and an exciting opportunity to own and lead the entire technology & data programme for the organisation.

As Head of Data & Technology, you will ensure that we’re maximizing the functionality of our fundraising database (Raiser’s Edge), make proposals to SLT spanning topics from cyber security and technology strategy to compliance and internal capability and skills, and deliver tangible improvements to how the organisation works. To be successful in this role, you will be a motivated, flexible individual, who is passionate about working with young people around their sexual health.

The postholder will conduct outreach, education, and training in several settings depending on the needs of different young people. These could be educational settings, youth settings, community events, sports settings, clubs and pubs. You will target vulnerable young people, such as looked-after children (LAC), those who are not in education, employment, or training (NEET), those who come from areas of high deprivation and high need, and those with other increased risk factors, as well as young people aged 13-15 who are not yet able to access online services.

As part of your frontline work, you will encourage young people to sign up for a C-card, and, if aged over 16, to register to Get it and order condoms and lube from the website. When appropriate, you will refer young people to appropriate local sexual health services for contraception, emergency contraception, pregnancy testing, STI screening and treatment.

You must be able to employ an appropriate and non-judgemental way of working with a variety of young people. You will welcome direction from the SWL Lead, as well as the broader team, but you will also be proactive in seeking new opportunities and mechanisms to deliver the scheme. With the support of your line manager, and with appropriate training, you will be responsible for safeguarding and child protection, ensuring young people under the age of 16 have been appropriately risk-assessed. You do not need to have existing sexual health knowledge to apply for this role, however, a desire and capacity to learn and to work in this field is essential.

exual and reproductive health training will be provided but the successful candidate must be comfortable talking about sexual health in 1:1 settings, as well as in small groups and to larger audiences.

Location: Homeworking with a requirement to occasionally work at Head Office (Vauxhall, London)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (As part of this role, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours rota that includes evenings, weekends and night shifts). Shifts are scheduled across a 24 hour rolling rota and we are unable to support specified non-working days (although shift-swapping is available).

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as a Domestic Abuse Helpline Advisor to provide high quality practical and emotional support to survivors of domestic abuse and other forms of violence and abuse, including those at the point of crisis.

Helpline Advisors are responsible for providing high-quality, empowering, emotional and practical support, assistance and information to women and those supporting them, who contact the Freephone 24-hour National Domestic Abuse Helpline, run by Refuge. Helpline Advisors deliver one to one support to women and those supporting them to ensure that they are provided with a safe, supportive and welcoming service, enabling women to understand their rights, make decisions and increase their options. The job involves working across multiple platforms including phone and live chat, to inform survivors of the full range of civil, criminal and practical options that might increase their safety.

Please note that this post is restricted to women due to the nature of the role. The Occupational Requirement under Schedule 9 (part 1) of the Equality Act 2010 applies.

Reporting in to the Church & Supporter Engagement Lead, the Church Engagement & Fundraising Advisor will lead and inspire a team of Church Engagement & Fundraising Officers, ensuring exceptional stewardship and engagement with churches, Christian Aid groups,

Job details:

• Location: FLEX office, Vauxhall, London - Flexible hybrid working with a mixture of in person and home/office working.
• Salary: £54,000 per annum subject to deductions for tax and national insurance contributions as required by law, pro-rated if part time.
• Working hours: Full time, 5 days, equivalent to 37.5 hours per week. There is also the option to work part time at 0.8 FTE (30 hours per week).
• Pension: 4%, with incremental pension contributions.
• Contract: Fixed term, 2 years (with the expectation to continue, subject to funding)

• People management: 4-5 staff members.

About the role

The Director of Operations will serve as a key member of the Senior Management Team (SMT) and a key driver of our organisational strength. This role leads the development and smooth running of the systems, processes, and culture that enables FLEX to deliver its mission effectively. You will oversee day-to-day operations across human resources, finance, governance, and key compliance areas such as data protection and health and safety.

Working closely with the CEO and the SMT, you will implement and continually improve our operational plans, infrastructure, and procedures, ensuring they are efficient, legally compliant, and aligned with our values. • Job Title: Part-Time Tax Manager

Membership Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious and talented Development team

We are looking for an experienced Membership Manager to join our small and friendly Development team (Fundraising and Membership) and drive our strategy for Membership. With a healthy existing membership base of nearly 15,000, and a database of 100,000 registrants, this role will support the Head of Development in delivering the best possible membership offer for families in the Twins Trust community. You will be supported by a Membership Officer to continually evaluate and improve our membership proposition, giving members a brilliant experience and ensuring we can secure sustainable income for the charity.

Purpose of the role

• Accountable for Twins Trust’s annual membership income, delivering a high-quality membership journey through all phases of membership

What will I be doing?

• Create a powerful alliance of Corporate Partners to influence science strategies and investment in areas such as advanced sensing, photonics, quantum technologies, semiconductors, renewable energy, autonomous systems and medtech
• Secure long-term relationships by delivering impactful services that meet partners’ needs: working with cross-organisation teams to drive take up of IOP membership, professional registrations, thought leadership articles and access to publishing content
• Manage risks and ensure financial sustainability of the Corporate Partners Alliance

Projects you work on may include:

• Deliver annual series of leadership visits to Corporate Partners organisations to explore interests and common priorities around skills, R&D, infrastructure and business support
• Manage and deliver science insights and advocacy activities with Corporate Partners, via high-level meetings with senior stakeholders in government, industry, finance and academia
• Facilitate ideation workshops, prepare briefings and produce reports to develop new insights and seed new activities to support IOP and partner priorities

Who will I work with?

• Executive Directors and Chief Technology Officers in large R&D intensive businesses
• IOP leadership and cross-organisational teams including our publishing company
• Closely with IOP Associate Director for Science, Business and Data Insights

You are likely to have the following experience

• Credibility in building corporate partnerships with c-suite and senior leaders in R&D intensive, large businesses
• Knowledge of working at the interface of government policy, business and academia regarding science, technology and innovation
• Experience of implementing projects that involve managing senior stakeholders and decision makers in business and securing income targets
