About the role
You’ll be responsible for the organisation, delivery and development of our in-person and online services for people with breast cancer. This includes coordinating service events in Northern Ireland, supporting the delivery of UK wide online services, recruiting, training and working with sessional staff and volunteers.
A key part of the role involves developing and maintaining relationships with healthcare and allied healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to promote our services and increase reach and uptake in Northern Ireland.
About you

You must have experience of organising, developing and delivering information, health or other support services and have knowledge of UK healthcare systems. Your excellent verbal and written communication skills help you manage successful relationships with a range of different stakeholders, often remotely. Working as part of a busy established team across different geographical sites can be challenging, you’ll will need to be a supportive and resilient colleague.
Flexibility to travel (throughout Northern Ireland and occasional travel in the UK) and work outside normal office hours, with occasional overnight stays is essential for this role.

About the role

You will deliver personal cares, emotional support and a calming presence to people at the end of their lives, in both the home of our community patients throughout North Yorkshire, and the IPU at either Crimple House, Harrogate or The Lambert, Thirsk.
This role is a hybrid position; therefore, you must be willing to work between the community and IPU when required.
Visits in the Community will be variable times and lengths each day. Shifts on IPU will include Earlies, Lates, Twilights and Night shifts.
Candidates are required to hold a full driving license and have access to their own vehicle to travel between patients’ homes in the community.

Transforming Lives for Good (TLG) are a national Christian charity working in partnership with local churches to bring struggling children hope and a future. Building on the huge success of TLG Early Intervention Coaching, TLG Therapeutic Support will be a new way for TLG, with partner churches, to provide support in school for the increasing number of pupils struggling to cope due to their emotional, relational, and mental health experiences. This programme addresses the underlying issues children are facing, whilst also providing the option of direct support to their parents/carers and the school staff team.
In this role we are looking for individuals with an accredited coaching qualification that thrive working with children and young people in a school context and are passionate about supporting pupils and their families struggling with emotional, relational, and mental health challenges. The ideal candidate will have an aptitude for creativity whether this is music and drama, sport and outdoor recreation or other fields of kinaesthetic development. The TLG Therapeutic Coach will be present each week in the school, providing specialist trauma aware care for these children, whilst supporting staff and parents/carers too, so we're looking for an individual who can build and foster strong relationships.
