This role will suit a people person who can quickly develop relationships, lead a team, and work closely in a supportive role with Adult Carers, Young Adult Carers and Young Carers. You’ll have overall responsibility for the Carer’s hub, where carers can drop in for advice and support, manage a small caseload, and support the delivery of the service’s range of activities as required, including respite activities, online groups, face-to-face sessions.
We are looking for a great motivator with excellent communication and organisational skills. Applicants should have relevant team or project management experience in social care, health, education or the voluntary and community sector. You will have experience of working with vulnerable adults and/or children and operational knowledge of multi-agency working. A practical understanding of barriers faced by unpaid carers, and an awareness of cultural differences will be key in this role.
This is a full-time role and the postholder can either be based in the community in Lewisham or our New Ash Green office, with travel to the other area/ office 2 days a week. The postholder must have access to their own ULEZ compliant car.

Covering the England and Wales the Community Fundraising Manager will be responsible for managing various income streams across the Community portfolio working closely with the wider team.

The charity is leading on the Inclusion strand of the programme, delivering training to education professionals in 70 schools across London. The Role
As a Project Lead for the ASB team you will be:
- Managing a small team of ASB caseworkers including performance management, monitoring and support

- Contributing to and attending monitoring meetings with funders/commissioners and providing reporting when required

- When the service requires, holding a small caseload providing high quality support to service users in line with VS policies and operating procedures.
The role is home-based within Devon and Cornwall and therefore is open to applicants who both live in this area and have access to an appropriately confidential space in which to work. Regular travel within working hours will be expected across Devon and Cornwall to fulfil the role and travel expenses are paid. We’re recruiting for an experienced Philanthropy Manager whose area of expertise securing multi-year, six-figure gifts from grant-making organisations; developing and managing a trusts and grants pipeline, including the application and reporting process, in order to build a reliable and sustainable income stream. The Philanthropy Manager (Trusts, Grants and Foundations) will be responsible for delivering a strategic approach to trusts, grants and foundations; working with service delivery areas of the organisation as well as the finance department, in order to create compelling projects, with measurable outcomes that can be reported on. The postholder will be able to articulate these projects into cases for support within written applications, matching projects with appropriate funders and delivering a compelling ask. This role requires the development of a trusts, grants and foundations pipeline, from research through to reporting, ensuring a sustainable and maximised income stream.

About the Role
The role requires a well-structured and highly organised approach, to ensure delivery and reporting is of the highest quality and a creative and proactive approach, to navigate challenges and hold others to account, when needed. The project management aspect of the role requires someone who is an excellent communicator with responsibility to oversee Service Level Agreements (agreed outputs, outcomes and communications) between the organisation and Youth Zones, and their relationships with funders.. Whilst also taking time to bring Youth Zones together to share learnings and good practice, fostering collaboration across the Network, and support the Fundraising team in their stewardship of long-term donor relationships.
Seeking out new regional and/or national operational partnerships aligned with the Network’s priorities will be a new element within the role, focusing on securing a small number of brilliant, operational partnerships, which add value to core delivery.
There are also occasional Network-wide events for young people, which the Projects and Partnerships Manager takes the lead on, working collaboratively with staff to plan and deliver.

This role is responsible for delivering on three key areas of the major donor programme:
-Managing and growing a portfolio of major donor and high value supporters. Specifically focusing on encouraging and making the ask for long-term, multi-year 5-6 figure gifts.
-Driving major donor new business activity to build a sustainable pipeline using internal data analysis tools alongside network mapping exercises.
-Working collaboratively across the team to provide tailored stewardship journeys and experiences which build meaningful relationships with our closest supporters and demonstrate the impact of their support on our mission.
