Sophie Hayes Foundation (SHF) is a small but mighty charity, empowering women survivors of
modern slavery and exploitation. It is an important time at SHF. Our new strategy ‘Sustainable
Freedom from Modern Slavery’ launched in 2024 and this role is essential for the delivery of the
strategy and ensuring that survivors of modern slavery, human trafficking, and exploitation have
access to the support and opportunities they need to achieve their aspirations, independence

At the heart of Sophie Hayes Foundation’s work will be the support to and empowerment of
survivors of modern slavery and human trafficking and this role is critical to survivors’ journeys

Alongside a small, friendly and dedicated team, you will coordinate and deliver our
programmes for survivors of modern slavery, including our flagship Employability Programme
(EP) and our Conversational English for Independence (CEFI) course.
You will also work in close partnership of the development and delivery of new programmes for
survivors, embodying our strategic aim of ‘meeting survivors where they are and taking them to
where they want to be’. You will champion the voices of survivors through the work of the
organisation, working with colleagues in CREW to provide continued support to survivors’ long
term.
About the Role
- Deliver Sophie Hayes Foundations Employability Programme and Conversational English for Independence Course to survivors.
- Support development and growth of these and other future programmes.
- Take responsibility for all programme logistics and communications with partners, survivors, and suppliers.
- Accurate data input to and management of internal monitoring and finance systems, working closely with the Head of Programmes to analyse trends and contribute to reporting.

About the Programme
The Schools Triathlon is a fun, mass participation sporting event for 7–13 year olds. Its mission? To get more young people moving, having fun, and discovering the power of fundraising. In 2025, over 10,000 young people took part in 12 events, raising an incredible £1.5 million for Restless Development and local charities. Since it began, the Schools Triathlon has raised over £5 million—making it our flagship fundraising event.
About the Role
This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for anyone looking to kickstart their career in fundraising and events management. As our Assistant Fundraising Events Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in Restless Development’s close-knit fundraising team, helping to deliver our flagship events — the Schools Triathlon.
You’ll gain hands-on experience working with a wide range of stakeholders, including our volunteer Schools Triathlon Committee, schools, pupils, parents, and event delivery partners. A big part of your role will involve delivering fun and engaging school assemblies, encouraging pupils to take part and fundraise for Restless Development.

Key Responsibilities:
Systems and processes (30%)
- Manage the assembly tracker to ensure it is kept up to date, with relevant members of the team notified when new assemblies are booked in
- Maintain accurate records across our registration platform (Eventrac), our CRM system (Salesforce) and Excel, including registrations, fundraising data, and supporter information.
- Monitor and track fundraising progress for over 11,000 participants, encouraging and supporting them to reach their goals.
- Manage JustGiving pages, ensuring all fundraising activity is accurately logged.
- Liaise with Finance to process donations (online, offline, and cheques), allocate income correctly, and thank supporters promptly.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, pupils, and parents, thanking and supporting them throughout their fundraising journey.

Event management and Communications (30%)
- Support the planning and delivery of two Schools Triathlon events, including site visits, logistics, and on-the-day support.

- Work collaboratively with the Schools Triathlon team to ensure smooth delivery of all events.
Others (10%)
- Support the Senior Fundraising Manager with developing an individual giving process.
- Attend Schools Triathlon events (April–June) and occasional evening/weekend work for which Time Off In Lieu (TOIL) will be provided.
- Regular travel to schools is required, so access to a reliable vehicle is essential (travel costs will be reimbursed).
- Carry out any other duties as required to support the fundraising team.

Salary: £30,400
Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday between 09:00 - 17:00. You may need to be flexible on these hours as per service requirements.
About the role
We're looking for an Activities Coordinator to join our Independent Approved Premises (IAP) based in Havering. This is an exciting opportunity to join a new service which works with offenders as they are released from prison. It is a community based setting, rather than custodial where residents can go out in the community, depending on their Licence restrictions.
You will play a major part in reintegrating our residents back into the community by coordinating and delivering high quality activities and programmes which work to support individual needs, working in collaboration with the wider team. Some activities may vary but could include days out and visits, awareness days/weeks/months campaigns, cultural celebrations and other meaningful activities to encourage reintegration, and enhance social skills and community engagement.
About you
We are looking for someone who has a passion to support vulnerable people in making a change, supporting their rehabilitation and providing opportunities for them to make positive change to their lives, to reintegrate into society. You will have a general understanding of the criminal justice system, and/or have experience supporting people with multiple/complex needs. You will be able to plan and deliver a range of activities suited to individual needs and will be confident in understanding the needs of our residents to do this. We look for:
- Experience in coordinating and/or delivering activities and programmes with people from various backgrounds
- Ability to provide advice, support and guidance to a team and residents on various areas
- Ability to work creatively and encourage creativity in others
- Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and oral. Ability to form and build effective relationships and rapport with others
- Proactive in making decisions to deal with challenges and providing a solution focused approach and using your initiative
- Ability to use, learn and adapt to IT at an intermediate level, including Microsoft and other software programs
- Ability and willingness to show flexibility of working patterns, responding to the needs of the service and residents
- Ability to promote the service and provide outreach-based provision, with an ability to liaise and work effectively in partnership with stakeholders

South Bank students have high expectations and ambitions for themselves but lead complex lives where they are faced with the pressures of trying to balance their studies with work and juggling their lives at home. In fact, many don't identify primarily as students, but instead as carers, nurses, engineers, parents, designers, workers, entrepreneurs, apprentices, last chance learners and Londoners.
At South Bank Students' Union we believe that a student's background and life circumstances should not put them at an educational disadvantage, and all students deserve a high-quality University experience and the chance to graduate equipped with the tools to succeed in life - this role is at the heart of this work.
Alongside our current Student Voice Coordinator, the person in this role will be responsible for delivering the Union’s key Student Voice programmes which include: our course rep scheme; student issues tracking; focus groups and officer insight campaigns. They will also provide support for student leaders. This includes supporting the effective election, induction and ongoing development of the Union’s President, Lead Representatives and democratic processes.

The Early Intervention Coordinator is a key role within the School Based Needs Service, working as part of the borough and district-based community teams, comprised of NHS staff and third sector workforce under the umbrella of The Surrey Wellbeing Partnership. This team will build support around schools offering a wide menu of services across a cluster of schools based on borough/district boundaries.
The role of the EIC is to deliver and support children and young people through one- to- one direct work, small group sessions and signposting to specialist services. These interventions will be delivered across a network of secondary schools in the Runnymede, Surrey Heath and Waverley areas.
Responsibilities
1. Design, deliver and review evidence-based interventions for children and young people which aim to improve mental health and well-being and build on existing strengths
• Assess the needs and strengths of the referred young person and help them identify individual goals to achieve desired change (Goal Based Outcome Assessments).
• Manage own caseload of children and young people facing a wide range of issues, in both one to one and group settings, to address emerging needs and help build resilience, develop coping strategies and improve their mental health & wellbeing.
• Provide advice, guidance and signposting to young people and their families, that will connect them to resources that will support young people’s wellbeing.
• To operate at all times from an inclusive values base, which recognises and respects diversity and ensures all work is sensitive to a range of ethnic, cultural and religious groups, is gender sensitive and anti-discriminatory.
2. Develop and maintain relationships with key school staff in secondary schools and Schools Based Needs Team
• Work in close partnership and collaboratively with pastoral staff in school, Surrey Wellbeing Partners, Surrey and Borders NHS Partnership, Surrey Children’s Services, local Mental Health Support Teams and other community-based services to provide the most effective service for children, young people and families.
• Ensure that children and young people with more intensive support needs are put in touch with relevant Intensive Intervention services (whilst continuing to provide support until the intensive support is in place).
3. Impact, Monitoring Evaluation and Reporting
• Accurately record individual engagement and evidence of change using appropriate outcomes data to ensure support programmes can be accurately monitored and evaluated.
• To collect and share case studies that demonstrate good practice and the impact of interventions on outcomes for children and young people.
• Work with colleagues and line manager to ensure that your work is aligned to organisational strategy, key objectives and annual plans and budgets.
4. Personal Development/Other Duties
• Keep up to date with good practice, legislation and policies that have an impact on service delivery at Eikon
• Work within Eikon’s internal policies, safeguarding, health and safety, and data protection regulations
• Work as part of a team to lead and inspire collaboration across Eikon
• Attend training as discussed and agreed between yourself and line manager
• Attend team meetings and engage in 1:1 supervision
• Work co-operatively and under the management of The Eikon Charity staff to ensure the highest quality of delivery and support
