We are an award-winning national charity which trains over 17,000 young people affected by street violence each year in emergency first-aid through a team of 250 healthcare volunteers and youth workers. We are currently delivering Ignite projects in Blackpool, East Riding of Yorkshire, Liverpool, Middlesbrough, Northampton, Rochdale and London, and may take on additional projects in new locations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead our Ignite place-based programmes, managing workshops, employer engagement, and volunteer coordination, while ensuring local partners stay central to design and delivery.
• Oversee programme delivery, stakeholder relationships, coordination and logistics
• Through targeted interventions ensure the right workshops and people are in place to support young people to raise their aspirations, develop their skills and bridge the gap between education and employment

This role is a hybrid of strategic and operational work.

The purpose of the post is to:

· Develop and deliver HI UK’s strategy for high-net-worth individuals.

· Lead on the new Capital Campaign, 2026-2030, for HI UK.

· Work closely with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and family foundations to develop high-value philanthropic partnerships and ensure sustained, long-term support.

· Secure five- and six-figure major gifts from a diverse and sustainable base of major donors.

· Develop your own prospect pipeline and provide excellent cultivation of your prospects to produce committed, long-term donors.

· Manage existing partnerships and donors to a high standard.

· Report to and collaborate with the Global Specialist in Major Giving (based in the UK) on the delivery and implementation of your own ambitious philanthropy strategy for HI UK, in line with UK and Federation priorities.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic Partnerships

You will have responsibility for developing a new strategy for high-net-worth individual support and you will lead the delivery of this strategy to secure high-value philanthropic partnerships under the responsibility of the Global Specialist in Major Giving.

Capital Campaign

Our new Capital Campaign will be an invaluable tool for you in developing funding from high-net-worth individuals in the UK. You will lead on its launch and recruit a Campaign Committee, stewarding them to deliver results.

Relationship Management

You will lead on the development and stewardship of long-term relationships with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and family foundations.

Income Growth

You will drive the growth of an existing pipeline of high-net-worth individuals and develop this pipeline with new supporters from our individual giving stream and philanthropists who are new to HI, to secure significant gifts.

Collaboration

You will work closely with HI's Global Specialist in Major Giving, HI UK Trustees, our Federal Major Giving team, and international colleagues, to develop compelling proposals and provide timely impact reporting.

Stewardship

You will ensure exceptional donor stewardship and provide a high-quality experience for supporters at every stage of engagement.

Cultivation events

You will initiate and run high quality cultivation events for your donors and prospects, to form part of their stewardship journey.

Data Management

You will accurately manage donor records, communications, and reporting through our CRM.

Other duties

· Maintain a positive and collaborative working relationship with HI UK colleagues, the Federal fundraising and communication teams, and Major Giving counterparts in other HI national associations in Europe and North America.

· Ensure compliance with fundraising regulations and high standards.

· Keep up-to-date and adhere to any changes in legislation, regulatory procedures, innovation, best practice and industry standards in relation to private fundraising.

We are seeking a Senior Public Affairs Manager, to lead our national public affairs activity, influencing the government to help deliver evidence-based policies that will make a real difference to children’s health. This is an exciting time to join Bite Back and take our public affairs strategy forward with the Government. We have already seen significant policy wins in the past year and have big ambitions to drive more progress in 2026. In 2024 and 2025 our youth activists gave evidence to the House of Lords, hosted parliamentary drop-in sessions and a mock inquiry, and made memorable appearances at party conference fringe sessions. This is an opportunity to build on that success and raise Bite Back’s profile even further amongst policymakers at a time when the Government is charting its new strategic approach to improving the food system as well as its 10 year plan to save the NHS. The Senior Public Affairs Manager will report to our Director of Advocacy & Strategy and be responsible for developing and implementing all our public affairs activity, ensuring alignment with our campaigns team and working closely with our partners in other organisations to bring about meaningful change. Responsibilities

The Senior Public Affairs Manager is accountable for:

• Developing and delivering Bite Back’s public affairs and influencing strategy to galvanise action, building the profile of Bite Back, our young campaigners and securing support from political stakeholders at all levels, nationally, locally, in Westminster and Holyrood.

• Ensuring this strategy remains “live” and flexible. Adapting it to political and policy change as necessary.

• Planning a pipeline of tactical public affairs activities that take advantage of key opportunities and mechanisms to build relationships with a growing number of political advocates.

• Managing and delivering other political events throughout the year such as influencing roundtables, receptions, including at least one Parliamentary drop-in event and two Party Conference fringe sessions per year.

• Translating young people’s insights and policy context into messaging for policymakers and distil policy detail into key points for young people to engage with and campaign on.

• Providing strategic advice to the team on political developments and adapt strategies and plans accordingly.

• Act as a champion for public affairs activity internally, including upskilling and advising the wider Bite Back team and young people on political activities and processes.

• Providing line management support on public affairs to the Policy & Engagement Executive. 

• Searching for external opportunities and events where our young people may be able to present their lived experience to policymakers either through giving formal evidence or playing a speaking role.

• Working with our youth team to engage and support our youth leaders to speak with policymakers including development of briefing materials, preparing and running training sessions and attending meetings.

• Drafting letters, submissions, briefing notes and other outreach materials to engage policymakers, Government and manage dissemination and follow up.

• Conducting political stakeholder mapping, perception auditing and contact tracking to inform strategic political engagement plans and evaluation.

• Collaborating with the content and campaigns teams to translate public affairs moments and messaging into exciting, accessible content for our supporter audiences.

• Working closely with other organisations via established coalitions and more informal coordination around key issues, working collaboratively at the highest levels with values-aligned organisations to achieve our goals.

• Working with the new Senior Programmes & Policy Manager based in Scotland to conduct stakeholder mapping and build a network of supportive Scottish MPs and MSPs.

The Group Volunteer Manager will report directly into the Deputy Director of People & Organisational Development.

The role will play a key part in recruiting, attracting and retaining St Giles volunteer workforce. They will lead and manage the volunteer lifecycle from start to end as well as providing ongoing support to Volunteer Leads and ensuring we are complaint with all procedures including safeguarding.

The Group Volunteer Manager will play a pivotal role in designing and enhancing St Giles volunteering initiatives. They will play a vital role in significantly growing our volunteer workforce across clinical and non-clinical services. By fostering strong relationships with Volunteer Leads they will implement strategic plans and create meaningful opportunities for volunteers.

They will be responsible for promoting a positive and engaged volunteer workforce across St Giles group.

They will work closely with the Deputy Director of People and Organisational Development to shape and deliver the Volunteer Strategy and contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive organisational culture.

·Educated to degree level or equivalent

The Post-Diagnosis Support Programme Manager is a key role at ReMind UK, working across ReMind UK's departments to plan and co-ordinate the delivery of our post-diagnosis interventions. The role works in partnership with local organisations and groups across Bath and North East Somerset, to drive an insight-driven, fully evaluated programme of events and courses at the ReMind UK centre and in local venues.  Working closely with ReMind UK's Head of Engagement, Project Co-Ordinator, Chief Executive Officer, and Volunteering and Engagement Coordinator, the post holder will lead on the annual planning, delivery and evaluation of interventions, project managing a small team of facilitators and volunteers and line managing the Project Co-ordinator.
