The Community Fundraising Executive works closely with the National Community Fundraising Manager to deliver short and mid-term strategic plans and priorities for the function. The role is responsible for growing community awareness of the charity and driving fundraising activity across the region to meet income targets by proactively seeking out creating new opportunities and relationships. The Role

We are looking for an Executive Fundraising Director to strategically oversee and manage the Fundraising function.

In order to support the increasing level of demand for this work, over the next five years, the fundraising team will embark on an ambitious growth strategy as they look to grow income from £9 million this year to £20 million by 2029, increasing the breadth, depth and number of communities that the charity serves. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading the development and delivery of the fundraising strategy to ensure that children and young people have the best start in life. They will be responsible for a broad range of income streams with a particular focus on growth across high net worth individuals, individual giving, corporate and digital, whilst continuing to effectively maintain and build upon strong funder base in trusts, foundations, philanthropy and statutory support. They will also directly oversee the wider fundraising team, which currently includes the fundraising manager and fundraising officer roles.

About You

You will be educated to degree level or equivalent, demonstrated through relevant professional experience or an accredited qualification.

You will have experience of:

• Fundraising, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

• Leading the development and implementation of a successful fundraising strategy, generating significant organisational income.
• Working across different forms of fundraising including trusts & foundations, high net worth individuals, individual giving, corporate and statutory/public sector.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative and highly organised Marketing & Fundraising Coordinator to grow BrightPIP’s visibility, income and community engagement. This role sits at the heart of BrightPIP’s external presence, working closely with clinicians, trustees and supporters to tell our story and build sustainable income.

Volunteer Centre Hackney is a thriving charity (annual income circa £1.1m, with 29 paid staff) providing volunteering infrastructure to the voluntary sector across the City of London and the London borough of Hackney. You will build authentic relationships with funders and supporters, and together with VCH colleagues, will identify new programme models as ways to generate income. You will contribute to the development and production of compelling stories, evidence and marketing and build and maintain the infrastructure needed to track and achieve progress against annual income targets.

Post holders need to have excellent communication skills, to represent the charity in writing and in person. The Supporter Care Officer will ensure supporters, donors, volunteers and members of the public have a positive and memorable experience of contacting the Macular Society by coordinating across colleagues and partner organisations to deliver an exceptional level of customer care that deepens relationships with our supporters. 

This role part time 4 day a week (ideally Tuesday to Friday) 9:00am to 5:00pm with one hour break, on a fixed term contract until 1 April 2027.
