Clinical Services Manager

About the role

icap is looking for an experienced and committed Clinical Services Manager to join our Clinical Management Team and support the Director of Clinical Services in the delivery, development and governance of icap’s therapeutic services.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced clinician with strong clinical management and people-management skills who is passionate about delivering high-quality, accessible therapy and supporting therapists to provide safe, effective and culturally sensitive services.

As Clinical Services Manager, you will have an important role in overseeing the day-to-day delivery of our clinical services, supporting our network of therapists and supervisors, and ensuring that clients receive a high-quality service from referral through to allocation and ongoing therapy.

You will act as a senior clinical resource within the organisation, providing clinical consultation and guidance, particularly around risk and safeguarding, while working closely with the Director of Clinical Services, Clinical Administrator, therapists, supervisors and partner agencies.

Key responsibilities

As Clinical Services Manager, you will:

• Provide clinical leadership and management across designated services, supporting therapists and supervisors and ensuring that clinical practice meets icap’s policies, procedures and governance requirements.

• Oversee the client journey, including referrals, pre-initial consultations, triage, assessments and allocations, working closely with the Clinical Administrator and assessing therapists.

• Provide senior clinical advice and consultation, including guidance around clinical risk, safeguarding and complex presentations, and provide clinical cover where required.

• Support and develop our clinical teams, including induction, regular reviews, recruitment, team meetings, CPD and ensuring high standards of clinical documentation and outcome measurement.

• Build strong relationships with partner agencies, funders and stakeholders, representing icap at relevant meetings and contributing to consultation, service development and improved access to therapy.

• Work closely with the Director of Clinical Services and wider management team on clinical governance, service development, audits, policies, reporting and the continued development of icap’s therapeutic services.

About you

We are looking for a qualified and experienced therapist who combines strong clinical expertise with excellent organisational and management skills.

You will have:

• Full professional membership, registration and accreditation with UKCP, BPS, BPC, BACP or equivalent.

• At least five years’ post-qualification experience.

• Experience of working therapeutically with people who have experienced childhood trauma.

• Experience of clinical management or management within an organisational setting.

• Experience of working across different cultural contexts and a strong commitment to culturally sensitive practice.

• Experience of collecting and measuring clinical outcomes, including CORE.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and people-management skills.

• The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a multidisciplinary and collaborative team.

• Knowledge of relevant legislation, safeguarding and clinical governance requirements.

• An understanding of Irish history, culture, identity and the experiences of Irish communities.

Experience or training in additional therapeutic approaches such as Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Somatic Experiencing, IFT, EMDR or Integrative Counselling would be desirable.

About the role

We are looking for an exceptional individual fundraiser to join the Philanthropy team at King’s College London, leading on fundraising for the Faculty of Social Science and Public Policy.

This role will be responsible for managing a portfolio of major gift prospects, securing and stewarding significant philanthropic gifts at the £50k to £5 million gift level, supporting senior stakeholders with their fundraising efforts, and championing the work and priorities of King’s and the Faculty.

The team will play a crucial role in the delivery of the University’s ambition to significantly scale philanthropic income for faculties, as we prepare to launch our next major fundraising campaign in 2027 and mark the university’s bicentenary in 2029.

We will build on our already successful fundraising to achieve ambitious new goals for philanthropy – creating strong partnerships across campus and with donors, to realise shared priorities and deliver strategic impact.

The post-holder will lead practical improvements in HR, people processes, line management standards, staff development, onboarding, offboarding, organisational culture and compliance. They will combine sound judgement, strong systems thinking and a people-centred approach, helping Sustain keep processes clear, proportionate and well-managed, while supporting colleagues to focus on effective delivery.

The mission of the Sustain alliance is to catalyse systemic change in the UK’s food and farming system – securing a healthy, fair, and sustainable future for all people, nature and a stable climate. •Lead on managing and developing the charity’s operational activities.

The Senior Legal Counsel is the first port of call for colleagues putting together and advising on new legal arrangements and documenting our leading health partnerships and fundraising activities. The Senior Legal Counsel works with the Foundation’s Legal team in providing legal advice and guidance for the Foundation’s innovative, impact-led programmes and activities, supporting our fundraising team alongside our fundraising compliance manager, and our work with Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. This role also assists with varied internal governance and compliance matters. 

Key Responsibilities 

Charitable Partnerships (Impact on Urban Health) 

• Identify relevant legal and compliance considerations on projects and activities within the IoUH team and work with IoUH to put in place appropriate mechanisms or policies to manage issues that are identified. 
• Structure and assist colleagues with drafting and negotiating agreements for a wide variety of charitable partnerships, including commercial contracts, grants, IP licences, novel investment models, revenue-sharing arrangements and data agreements. 
• Act as a thought partner with the team to advise on the structuring, legal risks and strategic implications of partnerships and future opportunities. 
• Maintain and appropriately file correspondence and documentation relating to commercial contracts. 

Fundraising (Charities)

• Identify and advise on relevant legal and regulatory considerations in respect of our fundraising activities and work with our fundraising compliance manager and the fundraising team to ensure our fundraising activities are carried out in accordance with the relevant regulations.
• Drafting and supporting colleagues in negotiating a variety of fundraising agreements, including charity of the year agreements, commercial participation agreements, sponsorship agreements and pledge agreements.
• Advise on relevant governance matters relating to fundraising activities.
• Work closely with our fundraising compliance manager to ensure data protection aspects of our fundraising activities are managed appropriately. 

Procedure and Policy Efficiencies

• Draft, maintain and update our internal guidelines, policies and standard-form documents. 
• Create policy and process efficiencies. 
• Act as deputy data protection lead, supporting the primary data protection lead through providing training to colleagues and ensuring the Foundation’s mandated practice is understood and followed. 

Tailored Partnerships 

• Consider legal considerations, and appropriate processes, for working with certain partners (e.g. regulatory, private gain, data protection, policy), including advising on due diligence procedures and tailoring our standard form templates. 
• Work with cross-functional stakeholders on longer-term projects to change our partnership models to cede power to the communities we work with, whilst balancing this against our charity law obligations. 

Cross-Functional Work 

• Work with cross-functional stakeholders, including Policy, Influencing & Communications, Data, Evaluation & Learning and the Executive Team to advise on cross-team collaboration, opportunities, issues and risks relating to our charitable partnerships. 
• Assist teams such as Endowment, Systems, and People & Culture on their legal needs, including drafting, negotiating and agreeing documents and being the first port-of-call for a variety of legal issues. 
• Lead on specific projects for either individual directorates or cross-directorate projects. 
• Act as business partner to the Fundraising teams on a variety of issues, including advising and supporting them with drafting, negotiating and advising on a wide range of fundraising agreements. 
• Act as business partner to the Endowment team, ensuring they have the legal support required for the smooth running of their activities. 

Governance and Legal 

• Act as Company Secretary for the Foundation’s three subsidiary companies.

• Undertake research into specific legal issues or matters of best practice and provide training to Legal team colleagues on these issues.

Our media function at Hospice UK is critical to our mission to promote and protect hospice care for all.The Media and PR Manager leads our media strategy, helping to tell our story with ambition and impact – shaping conversations, building national influence and raising the profile of hospice care across the UK.

The Team

You will work within the Communications team that sits within the wider External Affairs Directorate. We are around 20 in total, including 4 colleagues based in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

The Communications team includes colleagues working across content, social and digital, as well as partnership marketing and member communications. 

You will work closely with a smaller team of 3 colleagues, our Senior Social Media Officer, Content and Brand Manager and your line manager – our Senior Communications and Communications Manager. Together you will be involved in the big issues in hospice care, making sure Hospice UK is vocal, visible and leading the debate.

About the team

The Philanthropy Team raises income for Impetus and for Impetus partner charities. The team consists of 15 staff. Impetus has an annual income of c.£11 million which we are looking to grow significantly within the next few years. The team is led by two Directors of Philanthropy and Partnerships. 

The Philanthropy Team works with major donors, corporates and grant making trusts, as well as collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to ensure we make a compelling case to generate new financial commitments and wider support for our work. The team also deliver a high-quality engagement programme of volunteering and pro bono for Impetus’s corporate supporters.   

Impetus is driven by a shared belief in tackling the barriers that hold back young people from disadvantaged backgrounds in education and employment. Alongside investing extensive financial and non-financial support in our charity partners through our Investment Team we also seek to influence decision makers to design and implement evidence led policy and direct new resources to get young people the support they need through our Public Affairs team. About this role

The Development Director (Philanthropy) provides strategic leadership across Impetus’ philanthropy and stewardship portfolio, with responsibility for relationship management, renewal, growth and selected new business activity. The postholder will work with high-value funders, including corporate partners, trusts and foundations, and high-net-worth individuals.

In 25/26, the Philanthropy and Partnerships team generated £11m in philanthropic income, alongside £2.8m in pro bono contributions. The Development Director will play a key role in delivering Impetus’ growth ambitions, supporting the increase in philanthropic income to £14m by 2029. 

Working closely with the Directors of Philanthropy and Partnerships, the role will translate the fundraising strategy into clear stewardship, renewal, relationship-growth and selected new business plans, ensuring strong donor retention, high-quality engagement and sustainable growth in high-value income.

Working closely with the Director of Philanthropy and Partnerships, the postholder will oversee the donor lifecycle across the philanthropy portfolio, with particular focus on strategic stewardship, renewal, relationship growth and the effective transition of selected prospects into long-term donor relationships. They will personally lead and support significant six and seven-figure donor relationships and selected funding opportunities, while working with colleagues to ensure the philanthropy pipeline, stewardship plans and account management disciplines are strong.

Barnet Catchment Partnerships Officer 

Salary: £26,936 - £36,352 dependant on experience (Officer Band A Learning - Officer Band B Developing).

Contract length: 0.6 FTE Permanent Part-Time Position. Contract to 31st March 2028, with possibility to extend, subject to funding. Possibility to increase to Full-Time Position, also subject to funding.

Location: This is a hybrid position with a mixture of working from home, Thames21’s main office at the Guildhall, City of London and site visits across Thames21 catchment areas as required. Occasional working from Thames21’s satellite office at Bow Locks, East London may also be required.

Purpose of the job:

This post will form part of Thames21’s Catchment Partnership team. The successful candidate will host the Brent Catchment Partnership and will be responsible for the partnership’s strategic development and expansion, working towards the successful delivery of the Catchment Based Approach (CaBA) to improve the rivers and wider environment in this catchment.

The Brent Catchment Partnership covers an area of approximately 170km2, from Edgeware in the north, to its tributary with the Thames in the south by Brentford.

Main duties and responsibilities:

The officer will be expected to deliver across four priority areas:

1. Develop diverse, representative, collaborative and delivery focused partnerships

The successful candidate will need to work autonomously and proactively to seek out and positively engage strategic stakeholders within the Brent catchment area, building the influence and capacity of the Catchment Partnership network to deliver improvements for rivers and local communities. These stakeholders will include (but are not limited to) community groups, landowners, eNGOs, local authorities, government agencies and water companies.

2. Work with partnership networks to identify, develop and fundraise for river catchment improvement projects

Working alongside external partners and Thames21 colleagues, the Catchment Partnership Officer will need to draw on their knowledge of what makes a river catchment healthy to develop ambitious and impactful catchment improvement projects that meet the targets of Thames21’s 5-year plan and the Brent Catchment Action Plan. Once identified, the successful candidate will be required to work with relevant Thames21 teams and external partners to successfully fundraise for the development and delivery of these projects.

3. Bring together identified projects into detailed, deliverable catchment and sub-catchment action plans, and monitor progress against these.

The catchment partnership officer will be responsible for developing deliverable catchment and sub-catchment action plans that draw together projects identified across the catchment/sub-catchment area with landowner and stakeholder support. These plans should make the priority projects for delivery clear to external readers and catchment partners, enabling a strategic approach to project delivery in the catchment.

4.Break down silos by sharing information and bringing people together; in a way that is catchment wide, cross boundary and across multiple organisations.

The catchment partnership officer will be expected to share knowledge, news, funding opportunities and project progress between stakeholders through meetings, site visits, email newsletters and quarterly meetings of the whole Catchment Partnership (which the Officer will have the responsibility of arranging, coordinating and chairing, including the production of agendas, minutes and actions). The catchment partnership officer will be expected to communicate the work of their catchment partnership networks externally at relevant forums, including the River Partnerships in London (RiPL) Group, Thames Catchment Forum and strategic community events.

Other Duties

Where necessary, the catchment partnership officer may be required to support and lead on the delivery of river improvement projects, managing project deadlines and budgets.
