The St John of Jerusalem Eye Hospital Group (SJEHG) is a UK-registered charity delivering expert eye care to the people of the Holy Land, regardless of ethnicity, religion or ability to pay. THINK is expanding our Data function and looking for find a Data Consultant who can help achieve that growth.

THINK Data is the specialist data function of THINK, working exclusively in the charity and not-for-profit sector. We combine deep sector knowledge with hands-on technical expertise across three core areas: data health, analytics and insight, and CRM system challenges. 

Led by the Director of THINK Data, the team covers key elements of data strategy with charity clients to help them get more from their data and make better decisions. Discovering the challenges around the infrastructure of systems, processes and insight capability charities need to make data work harder for their mission. The Director leads on new business generation, team development, innovation in data products and thought leadership across the sector. Part of that innovation is exploring the best ways to use AI in how we work and how we advise clients, taking a considered and human approach. 

The Data Consultant role centres on data discovery and consultancy - working with charity clients to understand their data challenges and shape practical roadmaps for change. Alongside this you will contribute to client delivery, own key internal systems, and help develop new products and services.

About the Role

As we scale, we are looking for a Head of Operations to provide operational leadership to ensure the charity operates effectively, compliantly and sustainably in line with its mission and ethos. The Stories & Content Manager is responsible for developing and delivering an integrated, diverse 
stories and content plan and framework to support the three charity brands – Evelina London 
Children’s Charity, Guy’s Cancer Charity and Guy’s & St Thomas’ Charity.

Reporting to the Senior Brand & Content Manager, this role is responsible for the development of 
compelling, purposeful content and stories, working across digital and offline channels. Through this, 
the role contributes to showcasing our charities’ work and impact, driving our fundraising ambitions, 
and raising overall brand awareness. The Stories & Content Manager supports all teams across the 
Charities directorate, creating relevant, timely content for multiple campaigns simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy and Planning 

• Develop and deliver the stories strategy for the organisation, liaising with key internal and external stakeholders across the Foundation and NHS Trust. 
• Execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with charities’ goals, target audience and brand identity. 

Content Creation 

• Create high-quality and compelling content across multiple platforms, including websites, blogs, social media and email marketing campaigns. 
• Research, gather and sensitively write/collate stories content for placement across channels, in a variety of different formats including written, video, animation and photography. 
• Support with video production related to charity stories. Support with shoots, source film locations, set shoot schedules, film or supervise filming on the day, and plan final distribution
• Work with external agencies, photographers and videographers producing video or animated content featuring the people we support.
• Ensure diversity of voices across all storytelling, in line with our charities’ Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Strategy. 

Planning and Process 

• Maintain robust story gathering systems and processes to identify and support people who have actively opted to share their stories, ensuring robust consent, safeguarding and risk assessment procedures are in place and adhered to. 
• Manage a database of stories and track their use across our charities to ensure we maximise their potential across our channels and events. 

Stakeholder Management 

• Develop excellent working relationships across a matrix structure, collaborating with cross functional teams to gather information and develop content that supports charity goals. 

Other Responsibilities 

• Manage budgets related to stories strategy and implementation. 
• Upskill and support teams across the three charities in storytelling and content production best practice. 
• Carry out other appropriate duties as required.

The Community Engagement & Support role is about providing greater sustainability and resilience for the Fahr’s Disease community and Fahr Beyond as a charity. The post holder will be building the capacity for Fahr Beyond to provide support for people living with Fahr’s and their families through creating a volunteer network that can provide an ongoing fortnightly support group. Additionally, through working with other organisations, the post holder will develop more support pathways and opportunities for patients; this is envisioned as strategic work within the Parkinson’s and Dementia space.

This post will also play a key role in bridging Fahr Beyond’s work with the community and medical professionals to develop awareness of Fahr’s Disease.  

What will you do in the role?

Volunteer Mobilisation & Management

• Support the development of a volunteer strategy for Fahr Beyond
• Actively manage the establishment of a volunteer network utilising prior expressions of interest, and you will support the onboarding of volunteers
• The main point of contact for volunteers and help resolve matters they may have

Engagement & Communication

• Monitor and respond to incoming correspondence to Fahr Beyond, along with assigning any actions for response to the appropriate volunteer

As Community Network Manager, you will establish and lead our new Community Knowledge Exchange, bringing together people with lived experience of marginalisation, frontline partners, lawyers, researchers and others to share knowledge, build collective power and shape fairer systems. You will build and sustain the relationships and infrastructure that ensure community insight drives our litigation strategy, policy influence and advocacy — working in ways that are ethical, equitable and genuinely co-productive.

This is a rare opportunity to shape something from the start. You will develop the networks, tools and approaches that help PLP engage meaningfully with communities, while also acting as an internal champion — building our organisational capacity to work in partnership with lived experience in non-extractive ways.

Job purpose

The Community Network Manager will establish and lead PLP's Community Knowledge Exchange — a new network bringing together people and organisations with lived experience of marginalisation, frontline partners, lawyers, researchers and others to share knowledge and shape fairer systems.

At the heart of the role is a commitment to centring lived experience in PLP's work in ways that are ethical, equitable and non-extractive. The post holder will translate community insight into policy influence, strategic litigation and advocacy, while also strengthening PLP's internal capacity to engage in co-production and lived experience partnership working effectively.

They will develop and help to steward PLP's relationship with The National Lottery Community Fund and engage with the wider cohort of funded organisations, identifying opportunities for collaboration and collective endeavour. Internally, they will act as a champion and adviser, developing tools, guidance and approaches that help colleagues across PLP engage meaningfully with communities and frontline partners.

Key relationships

Reports to the Communications & Engagement Director, works closely with the wider Communications & Engagement team and is a member of the SMT1. Collaborates across PLP with colleagues including from events, public affairs, research and casework teams and advise the Senior Leadership Team. Externally, represents PLP within the Community Knowledge Exchange network and The National Lottery Community Fund cohort, and facilitates and maintains relationships with community partners, frontline organisations and other stakeholders relevant to PLP's strategic priorities.

Primary duties and responsibilities

Network development and coordination

• Establish, coordinate and grow the Community Knowledge Exchange – a network of people and organisations with lived and living experience of marginalisation, working with colleagues and frontline partners such as advice organisations and campaign groups.
• Manage relationships, communications and logistics for network members and meetings.
• Develop peer resource hubs and strong feedback loops between community insight and organisational delivery.
• Engage with the cohort of National Lottery funded organisations, making the most of connections and insights to shape the Community Knowledge Exchange and activities such as events.
• Connect PLP with communities and partners relevant to our strategic priorities. Uphold and promote PLP’s safeguarding policy, recognising and responding appropriately to concerns and escalating them through agreed procedures.

Knowledge exchange, influencing and storytelling

• Shape and develop network resources, working in collaboration with colleagues across the Communications & Engagement, Research and Casework teams and SLT.
• Work with the events team (which is part of the Communications & Engagement team) to develop and deliver convenings, meetings and trainings for the Community Knowledge Exchange and feed into PLP’s overall programme of events.
• Work with research and public affairs colleagues to support the co-production of research, policy and influencing work.
• Work with strategic communications colleagues to support and enable people with lived experience to share their stories publicly in ways that are ethical, empowering and on their own terms.
• Coordinate internal staff contributions to network delivery.

Funder relationship and programme development

• Play a lead role in developing PLP's relationship with The National Lottery Community Fund, acting as the primary point of contact for the development of the programme and support regular, high-quality communication and reporting.
• Represent PLP within the wider cohort of funded organisations, building relationships and identifying opportunities for collaboration, joint working and shared learning.
• Ensure that senior colleagues and the wider staff team are informed of developments in the programme, including emerging opportunities, funder priorities and cohort-wide initiatives.
• Shape the development of KPIs, in collaboration with others, and lead on tracking and reporting for PLP and sharing learnings internally and externally
• Contribute to and coordinate PLP's input into any collective communications, advocacy or other joint work across the cohort.
• Ensure PLP is well-positioned to respond to opportunities the funder makes available, including around communications support or additional resourcing.

Building capacity for lived experience partnership

• Advise colleagues on approaches to co-production and lived experience partnership working that are ethical, equitable and non-extractive.
• Shape and develop internal tools, guidance and resources to build organisational capacity in this area.
• Support teams across PLP to engage meaningfully with communities and frontline partners in their work.
• Act as an internal champion for centring lived experience across PLP's work, including casework, research, public affairs, strategic comms and events.

Management responsibilities and organisational contribution

• Contribute proactively as part of SMT to PLP’s strategy and goals.
• Role-model and embed PLP’s values and culture framework in day-to-day leadership and team development.
• Assist with management of the Communications & Engagement team e.g providing input on planning, chairing team meetings as appropriate, and assisting with recruitment, induction and training as required.
• Draw on network insight to contribute to organisational planning and strategy, including advising on emerging trends, risks and opportunities relevant to PLP’s priorities.

General duties

• Contribute to PLP’s general development, including improvement of systems, processes and ways of working.
• Ensure work is carried out in accordance with PLP policies, procedures, and relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in PLP’s day-to-day operations, including accounting and financial reporting (including to funders).
• Work with other internal teams as required from time to time, beyond the areas set out above.
• Support fundraising activities as required, including contributing to grant applications and reporting.
• Attend meetings and other fora and represent PLP as required.
• Manage your own administrative tasks, correspondence and document preparation efficiently.
• Assist others with gathering data for monitoring and evaluation, both internal for SLT/Board and external for funders and stakeholders, including the Legal Aid Agency.
• Attend occasional evening meetings. These and other events may also result in the post holder having to be away from home overnight. However, PLP recognises that post holders may have caring and other commitments and seeks to be as flexible as possible in this regard. In addition, reasonable notice will be given of such commitments outside normal working hours where possible, and time off in lieu may be taken by arrangement.

The Woodland Trust is looking for an Outreach Manager to join our South West team. The Outreach Manager leads the Trust’s outreach work in Southwest England, providing expert advice on woodland creation, management and restoration to landowners, organisations and stakeholders across the region, in support if the Woodland Trust’s conservation aims. They lead, inspire and manage the South West Outreach Team, ensuring advice is appropriate, effective and focused for delivering impact and strategic goals.

A company vehicle will be provided for this role. Please note that out Company Vehicle Policy is also under review as part of our Job Families and Contract Review project, so the eligibility criteria therein are subject to change in due course.

The Role:

• Lead and support Regional Leads and the Regional Director to deliver strategic priorities aligned with the Woodland Trust’s vision, values and objectives.
• Provide effective leadership and day-to-day management of the South West Outreach team, ensuring delivery is prioritised, on time and within budget.
• Build, manage and strengthen strategic partnerships with landowners, stakeholders, volunteers, delivery partners and suppliers to maximise regional impact.
• Promote and deliver the Trust’s landowner offers through compelling proposals and business cases, influencing action and securing engagement.
• Act as an ambassador for the Woodland Trust, representing outreach work internally and externally, including with media and key partners.
• Provide strategic leadership for temperate rainforest recovery, driving regional priorities, collaboration and long-term ecosystem restoration planning.
• Work closely with fundraising teams to secure and maximise funding opportunities, develop partnerships and support high-value agreements.
• Oversee regional resources, including budget management, reporting, communications, and the development of case studies to showcase impact and best practice.
• This is a homebased role, requiring regular travel to locations within the South West landscape and wider England, sometimes to remote locations. You would be expected to live within reasonable travelling distance of your area of responsibility. Occasional travel to regional offices and overnight stays will be required.

The Candidate:

• Capable of leading, motivating and developing high-performing teams, with a strong understanding of health & safety requirements.
• Understanding of the forestry or environmental land-based sector, with a track record of delivering impactful outcomes.
• Expertise in managing landscape-scale programmes and complex, multi-partner projects to successful delivery.
• Strong networking and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships and drive outcomes with key stakeholders and partners.
• Capability of shaping and implementing strategic plans, managing large budgets and reporting on performance and outputs.
