We’re looking for a Development Coordinator to provide advice, training and support to local organisations, helping them build resilience, secure funding, and deliver impact. This role has a strong focus on grassroots groups and those led by and serving communities often excluded from mainstream support.

You’ll build trusted relationships with organisations, understand their needs, and provide tailored guidance on areas such as governance, fundraising, and strategy. You’ll also play a key role in connecting groups to wider opportunities through networks, training and partnerships.

Working closely with the Development Manager and wider team, you’ll help shape and deliver a responsive organisational development offer, ensuring support is accessible, relevant and inclusive. You’ll also contribute to monitoring impact and sharing insights to improve how we work.

The role is offered for 4 days a week on a 12-month fixed-term basis, with the potential for extension subject to funding.

As the Head of Philanthropy, you will inherit a successful philanthropy area of fundraising for the organisation and will lead the team in securing major gifts and multi-year commitments across the individuals and trusts & foundations income streams. The postholder will join and at a brilliant moment of momentum for the organisation to secure income across the 2030 strategy period.  The Head of Philanthropy will also work closely with the Director of Development to ensure gold-standard stewardship for our high-value donors, coaching and developing line reports to ensure income generation targets are met across trusts, foundations, and individual donor income streams.

To be successful as the Head of Philanthropy will be an experienced leader and fundraiser, confident in securing new business through active prospecting and networking and ingrained knowledge of how to secure and steward HNWIs and trusts & foundations. This will ideally have been done at the six-figures-plus level and you will have significant experience in working with senior leaders and volunteers to cultivate meaningful relationships, steward HNWI, trusts, and foundations, and deliver robust prospect pipelines.

This role is a maternity cover contract position that will have hybrid working in the London offices for at least two days per week, for up to 14 months. The salary for this role is £60,000 to £72,000.

What the job involves

As Business Development Manager (Health), you’ll direct identifying and securing high-value partnerships within the health and pharmaceutical sectors, helping to generate meaningful income and impact. This is a hands-on role where you’ll use your sector knowledge and commercial insight to build and manage a targeted pipeline, developing tailored, high-value propositions and leading opportunities from initial engagement through to agreement.

Working closely with colleagues across Fundraising, Research, Health Services, Equity and Improvement (HSEI) and the Leadership Team, you’ll turn existing relationships and networks into strong, value-aligned partnerships. You’ll take a proactive approach to stakeholder engagement, using insight and influence to create opportunities and drive new business.

You’ll be responsible for managing your pipeline effectively, tracking performance and balancing shorter-term delivery with longer-term growth. Alongside this, you’ll act as a health sector specialist within the team, bringing insight, credibility and up-to-date knowledge to strengthen our approach.

Collaboration is key, and you’ll work across teams to ensure partnerships are set up for long-term success, with smooth handovers and clear alignment. Success in the role will be measured through income secured, pipeline strength and the quality and impact of the partnerships you build.

What we want from you

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager who brings both commercial insight and a genuine passion for making a difference in the health space. You’ll have built your career in business development, sales or high-value fundraising, ideally within health or pharmaceutical settings, and will be able to point to examples where you’ve successfully secured significant partnerships or commercial agreements.

You’ll be comfortable shaping compelling, high-value funding propositions that resonate with partners, and you’ll have a strong understanding of how the health sector works in practice, including decision-making processes and the wider regulatory landscape. Just as important is your ability to build and maintain trusted relationships. You’ll feel comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, bringing credibility, professionalism and a collaborative approach to every interaction.

We’d especially love to hear from you if you’ve worked within healthcare, life sciences or pharmaceutical organisations, or if you have experience building partnerships in a charity or purpose-led environment. An understanding of areas such as ESG, research or impact-led partnerships would also be a real advantage, particularly in helping us grow meaningful and sustainable collaborations.

The Role

This is a key role in acting as a delivery partner on our projects, working on streams of community support across the London and Home Counties (including Thames Valley area), and within the staff team. 

Responsibilities

• Projects and Workstreams: Overseeing and ensuring outstanding delivery on multiple community projects through NFF Flood Support and Flood Action Group process. Support and manage data collection that meets the aims of each project.

Role overview 

The Data Manager is responsible for overseeing the collection, management, quality, security, governance and use of data at Now Teach. They are responsible for ensuring that Now Teach’s data is accurate, integrated between systems, well managed, accessible to support operational reporting, analysis, continuous improvement and strategic decision making.

This is a key role in ensuring we can identify, articulate and measure the impact of our work both internally, and with partners, senior stakeholders and funders as well as supporting our aims of operational efficiency and self-service. The role will continue to develop our data capability as an organisation to evaluate our impact and continually improve our processes.

The Data Manager will be adept at working with multiple stakeholders and helping navigate and simplify processes. They know how to pull information from our reporting systems alongside or combined with other data sources, including national benchmarks, to identify trends and patterns and provide that data to teams in a way that supports great decision making and improvement. They will have a passion for data engineering being hands on as well as being able to identify and implement improvements to drive our data forward.

Data quality & governance 

• Oversee Now Teach’s data systems, fundraising and monitoring and evaluation processes ensuring they are set up for reliable data capture and reporting 

• Work closely with our data system product owners to ensure systems are set up and used to protect confidentiality, integrity and accessibility of data

Your Mission

Following a series of significant new business wins, the Corporate Partnerships Team are looking to grow. We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Corporate Partnerships Officer who is motivated by results and a natural-born relationship builder and communicator.  The role will be responsible for managing, growing and extending a portfolio of partnerships (worth approximately £20,000 per year) as well as supporting the wider team with our higher value partnerships and team administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent relationship management to a portfolio of corporate partners (worth approx. £20k per year), including, but not limited to, producing account management plans, setting partnership objectives, supporting fundraising initiatives and employee engagement, thereby significantly contributing to the corporate fundraising budget and strategy.
• Ensure partnership milestones and fundraising targets are monitored, met, reported on and celebrated with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Confidently represent CALM at key meetings and events, where public speaking and delivering presentations may be required.
• Work closely with the Services, Data and MarComms teams to build engaging, accurate and tailored impact reports for partners that encourage long-term support.
• Continue to seek ways of deepening partner relationships, and spotting opportunities for growth and extensions where possible, contributing to CALM’s strategy of growing repeatable, sustainable income. 
• Devise sustainable exit strategies for partners that leave behind a lasting legacy for CALM.
• Build strong working relationships and collaborate closely with colleagues across CALM to complement partnership activity.
• Use data and  insight to inform team budgeting and reporting.
• Support the Corporate Partnerships team as a whole to be more productive and efficient by taking on administrative tasks. This may include (but not limited to) responding to enquiries, updating our CRM (Salesforce), ordering and sending materials, creating and sending the corporate newsletter, updating the corporate partnerships webpages, writing briefs and conducting desk research.

About the role
We are recruiting for a Participant Experience Officer to join on a full-time basis, working 35 hours per week on a fixed-term contract for 12 months. This is a home-based role, with occasional travel required for in-person team meetings and events.

As Participant Experience Officer you will work across the Events team, supporting the strategic planning, development and implementation of our Event participants’ supporter journeys. This includes working on a wide range of activities such as Memory Walk, Trek26 and third party runs and challenges.

In this role you will both advise on and directly implement multi-channel communications journeys, from the point of registration through to event day and beyond. About you

Care4Calais (C4C) is a volunteer-based charity providing essential aid and support for refugees in northern France and the UK. We support through on-the-ground assistance, and advocate for a fair asylum system - including safe routes to the UK with refugee rights on arrival.

We work alongside people seeking safety to ensure access to daily essentials, and fill gaps where state support is not provided. We are here for everyone attempting to navigate the complexities of claiming asylum in the UK - providing access to justice, and practical, welcoming support. In northern France we operate year round from Calais, providing warm clothing, shoes, shelter, services, and assistance to refugees living in appalling conditions.

We also help with vital access to legal, medical and educational services. The UK Operations team provides essential psychosocial support to people seeking safety through practical services; such as running distributions, delivering English classes and drop ins, as well as activities to promote wellbeing such as trips and sports activities.

The UK Field Operations Manager will be responsible for managing our operations in London, working as part of the UK Field Operations Team to support large teams of grassroots volunteers to provide essential support to people seeking safety. 

You will need to onboard and motivate volunteers through continuous engagement and support to ensure that proper safety procedures for effective  distributions and activities are in place, well communicated, and consistently applied. The performance of each region and team needs to be regularly assessed and action taken to build capacity and skills where needed. Successful Field Operations Managers will build networks with local charities, community groups and Local Authorities to help grow and develop the operations of the local Care4Calais volunteer teams. As an operation, continuous improvement through research, learning and development of practices and policies will be critical. The Philanthropy and Partnerships Coordinator support the development and progression of philanthropy and partnership activity across trusts & foundations, corporate partners, and high‑value philanthropic audiences in the UK. The role is focused on coordination, preparation, prospects research, and pipeline support, enabling effective relationship management and timely progression of opportunities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate and support a targeted portfolio of trusts & foundations, corporate, and philanthropic prospects, assisting with qualification, cultivation, and stewardship activity.
• Support the preparation and submission of trusts & foundations applications, including coordinating inputs, drafting supporting materials, and managing timelines and follow‑up.
• Support donor and partner engagement through effective briefing, scheduling, meeting preparation, follow‑up, and moves management.
• Act as a coordination point between UK, Global Philanthropy, Programs, and Business Development teams to align inputs, streamline processes, and reduce bottlenecks.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date CRM and pipeline records, ensuring donor intelligence, engagement activity, and stage progression are consistently recorded.
• Supporting prospect research and developing profiles when required.
• Support reporting and insight generation, including pipeline tracking, income forecasting inputs, and progress summaries to inform prioritisation and decision‑making 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

• Experience supporting or coordinating fundraising, philanthropy, or relationship-based income generation within a charity or comparable environment.
• Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to analyse and interpret information and data to support decision-making and insight.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing professional-level briefs and materials.
• Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively across teams and stakeholder groups.
• Exposure to fundraising, particularly in major gifts, trusts and foundations, and/or corporate partnerships.
• Understanding of data protection regulations (e.g. GDPR) and their application in donor management.
• Experience supporting donor stewardship activities and relationship management processes.
• Familiarity with working in an international or not-for-profit environment
