The role

We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to play a crucial role in delivering first class marketing strategies to drive satisfaction, increase revenue and develop lasting engagement for Art Fund's membership (The National Art Pass). This is an exciting opportunity to join the membership team at one of the UK’s leading arts organisations and play a key role in achieving Art Fund’s core mission of helping museums and people share in great art and culture. You will be data & insight driven marketer with experience in customer retention, coordinating multi-channel loyalty programs and building customer journeys via email-marketing tools. You’ll also be responsible for crafting engaging copy that brings members along every step of our charitable proposition, inspiring connection, trust and action.

As a key member of the National Art Pass marketing team, you will be instrumental in:

• Marketing strategies across online and offline channels that maximise retention rates of the National Art Pass
• Supporting a programme of activity that promotes Art Fund’s charitable message to increase membership loyalty and to generate income via regular giving and fundraising initiatives
• Ensuring the delivery and smooth running of marketing automation membership journeys to support all areas of the membership cycle from onboarding and renewals right the way through to lapsed and win-back programmes
• Developing assets and experiences that add-value to our diverse membership, creating engaging communications that showcase what’s on at museums across the UK
• Coordinating membership e-comms and digital services including defining customer journeys, writing copy and forward planning of email content and regular reporting on results
• Collaborating with internal teams such as the Design, Content and external agencies / suppliers to create marketing assets that reflect Art Fund’s brand identity

The ideal candidate will have experience in customer retention, loyalty program management and CRM. Your role will involve using data, audience insights to drive marketing strategies as well as close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to drive the best possible membership experience. THE ROLE

The full-time Creative Communications and Events Officer works within the Communications team to help inform the public about antisemitism using a variety of media.

You will be joining our small, fast-paced, entrepreneurial staff team based at our office in central London.

The role brings a diverse set of responsibilities and an opportunity to work within a charitable organisation with a strong sense of purpose.

Responsibilities

• You will design graphics across our organisation, from social media posts and placards to pamphlets to pledge cards
• Work with creative colleagues to conceive and implement a variety communications campaigns to raise awareness about antisemitism and educate the public, sometimes at short notice and with tight deadlines
• Provide logistical support for communications projects, including scouting and booking locations, ordering materials, liaising with third parties and conducting internal research
• Plan, script, shoot and edit videos on various topics for different audiences on our numerous social media channels
• Growing our social media presence, including paid campaigns, to maximise reach and engagement
• Play a significant role in podcast production, from researching and booking guests to audio and visual editing
• Strategically planning and executing key events for the organisation throughout the year, ensuring maximum impact
• Design merchandise for our website and oversee the logistical aspect of sales
• Measure and analyse performance and outcomes of campaigns to increase reach and effectiveness
• Correspond with members of the public who write in to us
• Support units across our organisation in the preparation of materials relevant to their areas of work that conform to our house style and brand
• Work with a dedicated team of staff and volunteers in our pioneering Communications Unit

Complex Case Worker

Location: London 

Salary: £26,250 - £34,650 per annum

The post holder will be part of the Insight Platform, Young people’s service and will work with young people who have alcohol related problems, mental health issues and complex needs including drugs, psychological issues, anti-social behaviour, self-harm, or any other co-existing needs. The post holder will improve access to treatment services in the area for this cohort and, will provide a range of interventions for service users in this group including 1 :1 support and group work. 

You will bring a creative driven approach to the role and a willingness to build and nurture a successful and dynamic team focussed on delivering excellence and a quality service to promote and enhance the performance and reputation of Waythrough. You will be able to work seamlessly within professional partnerships to deliver outstanding services. About LMK

Good relationships shape our health and happiness, yet we are taught so little about them. LMK is a registered education charity on a mission to change that. We run workshops educating young people about healthy and unhealthy behaviours, so that they can avoid abuse and thrive in relationships. 

Using film and guided discussions, our workshop Leaders support children and young people in honest conversations about relationships and leave them better equipped to spot the early warning signs of abuse, inspiring them to enjoy healthy, fulfilling relationships.  We explore the 10 signs of healthy and unhealthy relationships and include practical lessons young people want to learn about (like consent) and practice scenarios in a safe, supportive and non-judgmental environment. 

LMK is a learning organisation and prides itself in supporting leaders to develop their skills. We offer training and Continuous Professional Development (CPD) opportunities, as well as peer-to-peer learning and reflective practice sessions.

About LMK Leaders

LMK Leaders are passionate and organised educators who run community workshops, aimed at young people aged between 11 and 24. Through engaging, relatable workshops, Leaders help young people identify signs of healthy and unhealthy relationship behaviours, provide strategies for them to recognise the early warning signs of abuse and give them tools to keep themselves and their friends safe. 

Expectations of LMK Leaders

• Always adhere to LMK and host organisations health & safety and safeguarding practices and procedures. 
• Capable of maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries with young people, peers, and professionals.
• Respond to comms (emails/WhatsApp) sent out by LMK team members in a timely manner, to support planning and organising of sessions.
• Plan and deliver interactive LMK workshops in educational and community settings in line with LMK delivery style and ethos. 
• Meet with co-facilitators to carry out pre-session planning, minimum three working days before delivery.
• Use your experience and knowledge of the issues affecting young people to tailor the workshops accordingly. 
• Ensure all youth participants and the adults in school/community organisations who attend a LMK workshop complete the post session feedback surveys.
• Complete a reflective post session Leader survey after each workshop to support practice and programme development.
• Debrief with LMK’s Programme Development Manager and provide ongoing feedback about your sessions through LMK’s reflective practice processes.
• Accommodate a maximum of two workshop observations by LMK staff/supporters per academic year, designed to bolster our funding and thought leadership strategy.
• Undertake relevant training associated with LMK’s work, including but not restricted to diversity and inclusion, safeguarding, violence against women and girls (VAWG).
• Undertake at least one quality assurance observation per year, completed by an LMK Programme Development Manager, and enhance practice via developmental feedback.
• Continue to learn about and develop your skills on the issues affecting young people’s relationships including domestic violence, abuse, adverse childhood experiences, trauma informed practice, gang culture and grooming, mental health, sexual exploitation, consent, sharing of nudes /sexting, bullying in person and online, tech and online safety, pornography.
• Share your knowledge and expertise by providing feedback and, where requested, co-designing training and educational resources on issues affecting young people and their relationships.
• Mandatory attendance of termly virtual Leader huddles and reflective sessions to remain connected to peers and organisational values, mission, purpose and operational matters.
• Contribute towards and keep up to date with LMK internal/external communications platforms, such as LMK newsletters and social media.
• Engage with LMK’s Youth Advisory Board Members, if and when invited to do so.
• Lead by example and promote healthy relationship behaviours in your own lives/communities and within LMK (team player; acknowledging and working with diversity; being receptive to new ideas and developmental feedback, etc)
• Use your own networks to recruit new schools and youth groups into the programme.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience required

• Extensive experience of teaching or working with young people (10 to 24 yrs old) in educational or community settings.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience co-designing, delivering and evaluating group sessions, consisting of minimum of 12 and maximum of 30 participants.
• Experience or co-designing session plans and co-facilitating with others; able to collaborate equally with others.
• A strong commitment to young people and knowledge and understanding of issues affecting their relationships.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills with the ability to create a safe and non-judgmental space, that allows young people to speak freely about their relationships and experience.
• Able to adapt and be flexible in workshops to get the best engagement from a range of participants. 

Must also:

• Be entitled to work in the UK.
• Hold a DBS certificate or be willing to let LMK undertake a check on your behalf. 
• Have a recent safeguarding qualification from a recognised provider or be willing to undertake additional training in this area.
• Be flexible to work non-traditional, after-school and occasional weekend / holiday hours.

Role overview 

This is a new role within FILE, providing dedicated thought leadership internally and externally with respect to our land use and nature strategies. You will support our partners to accelerate a transition to sustainable food production, secure and enforce sustainable frameworks for extraction of transition minerals, and contribute to safeguarding key global ecosystems, including through enhancing and protecting the rights of indigenous peoples and local communities.

You will work closely with the Director of Program Strategy, Regional Directors, and other portfolio leads to ensure land use and nature strategies are developed and integrated throughout our funding portfolios. Externally, you will build and maintain relationships with some of the world’s leading climate and biodiversity lawyers and campaigners, as well as with aligned philanthropies.

Our land use and nature work mainly supports partners working on protecting habitats in biodiversity rich areas of Africa, South America and South East Asia, including by challenging harmful practices of corporations based in the Global North. Its scope may shift over time, including as the successful candidate refines our strategy going forwards.

We seek to protect the rights of, and support partnerships with, indigenous people and local communities. Key strategic outcomes pursued include confronting supply chains of major corporates that drive greenhouse gas emissions, biodiversity loss, and violate the rights of local communities, and securing regulatory changes to drive finance towards cleaner, more equitable alternatives.

Key Responsibilities

Each of these is conducted in close collaboration with relevant colleagues across FILE’s strategy teams, as well as FILE’s Research, Impact, and Learning, Grant Management, and Philanthropic Partnerships teams: 

• Lead the development of FILE’s land use and nature strategies, including a focus on legal and narrative and movement-building approaches, as well as on enhancing and protecting the rights of indigenous peoples and local communities 

• These strategies will set out a well-considered approach to sectors and themes including exploitation of transition minerals, deforestation and biodiversity loss driven by industrial agriculture, addressing rights violations in global corporate supply chains, etc 

• Work in close collaboration with strategy, grant making and fundraising leads within FILE to increase access to funding sources and the resilience of partners working in the field

• Developing, maintaining and convening external partnerships and networks with partners and practitioners working on and use and nature strategies 

• Provide leadership to the wider philanthropic and donor community on the need for legal interventions in pursuit of FILE’s land use and nature strategy, and support fundraising for FILE as well as directly for our partners 

Key Outcomes 

• FILE has a well-considered land use and nature strategy, including a focus both on legal and related narrative and movement strategies, which is integrated throughout our funding portfolios

• Increased funding is made available to partner organisations working on land use and nature, via FILE or directly from other philanthropies

• FILE colleagues and external partners have a trusted thought partner and collaborator on developing and implementing land use and nature legal strategies 

• Overseeing / establishing high quality convening(s), with support of FILE’s Convening Manager, and networks of civil society and relevant legal practitioners and peers working in this area, to catalyse innovation and strengthen connectivity 

• An engaged group of funders, ready to deepen their support for our partners’ work on land use and nature strategies 

About you

Essential criteria 

• A strong commitment to protecting the environment, reforming corporate and financial governance, strengthening government ambition, and prioritising the rights of indigenous peoples, marginalised groups, and other communities most affected by climate change and environmental harms 

• Experience of and expertise in developing and / or delivering legal strategies to advance systemic change on land use and nature 

• Demonstrated experience in linking legal strategies to effective communications, campaign, and/or movement strategies to advance systemic change 

• An ability to strategically manage projects, including prioritisation and forwards planning

• An ability to work equitably and effectively with multiple perspectives and build trust with diverse partners, and understanding of funder positionality and responsibility. 

• A willingness to travel from time to time (at least four times a year, more if working remotely) to meet FILE staff and partners 

• An ability to work flexibly as part of a team spread across many time zones, which will involve some meetings outside of standard working hours 

• A professional standard of written and spoken English

Desired criteria 

• A current or past qualification / bar admission as a lawyer 

• Experience of working as a lawyer on strategic litigation against governments, corporations, or financial institutions 

• Demonstrated experience of building and / or maintaining external networks, bringing expert practitioners and / or civil society together 

• Experience working with communities adversely affected by climate change, environmental harms, and/or related human rights violations, particularly in the Global South 

• Existing relationships with NGOs, lawyers, and / or philanthropic partners working on relevant land use and nature strategies 

• An ability to communicate with partners in other relevant languages, including Portuguese, French, Spanish, and Bahasa Indonesia, would be a bonus but not essential

This is an amazing opportunity for someone with parenting experience to support new dads at a critical time in their parenting journey. The Dad Matters Coordinator will be passionate about supporting fathers to create strong secure bonds with their babies. You will have the compassion and skills to enable dads to have those difficult conversations, and talk about how they’re really feeling.

The Dad Matters Coordinator will deliver a range of universal and targeted interventions aimed at fathers in the First 1001 Days. You will support dads and other male carers with attachment and bonding, mental health and access to service. You will also work with professionals and perinatal services to ensure dads and male carers are engaged, supported and heard within clinical pathways. Additionally, you will help develop and run sessions with dads and will be at the forefront of growing our Dad Matters volunteering opportunities.

The work requires a combination of field-based community engagement and training in Brent and regular days in the office in Barnet. You will need to travel regularly across the borough and be visible in the community.

You will provide advice and representation to rough sleepers within northwest London to end homelessness. By resolving immigration status of service users, you will help eliminate destitution and allow them to access support for a better future - an initiative funded under the London Councils Homelessness Project.

About the role

This role is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting those who struggle with complex needs, substance use, and dual diagnosis. We are looking for someone who can work flexibly to support residents and participants who struggle to engage with the support available to them through various providers. You will be at the heart of engaging our participants to regain motivation and the strength to step down from acute psychiatric wards and other supported living, by empowering them with the relevant skills and knowledge to support their journey. You will support them towards achieving their personal goals including independent living. You will be based across various homes, hospitals, wards, and supported living accommodations based around Lewisham.

You will provide pathways, support, and appropriate interventions that will enable successful resettlements, and deliver to achieve more safer, integrated communities for our stakeholders. The areas of support will include: Prevention, Transition, Activities of Daily Living (ADL), Support, and Social Inclusion. 

This role will work alongside South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLAM) who provide the widest range of NHS mental health services in the UK. They also provide substance misuse services for people who are addicted to drugs and alcohol with 4,600 staff serving a local population of 1.3 million people.

• Support a caseload of participants, contribute to the development of support plans, risk assessments and reviews.
• Positively promote the pathways available towards independent living within the community. Ensure participants understand what tools and resources are available to them to regain independence.
• Participate in, and encourage R&Ps to participate in the running and development of projects, initiatives, training and volunteering.
• Recognise signs of deteriorating mental health and initiate appropriate interventions to prevent a crisis.
• You may need to attend external appointments when required.
