The post holder will lead the strategic direction for our fundraised income and deliver this alongside our ambitious Communications Strategy. As the national voice for further education (FE) colleges in England, AoC represents and supports member colleges with professional services, advocacy, and sector leadership. To support charities’ (critical) adoption of AI we need to invest in supporting sector-experiments that create demonstrable impact (acting as showcases), working alongside the peer groups, charities and working groups to help move conversations into practical action.

To achieve that, we are looking to recruit a Head of Design for AI to focus on driving forward this work in a number of different ways:

• Blending expertise in AI technologies with human-centered design principles to foster innovation and inclusivity across the social sector;
• Providing direct support to organisations and specific product design advice;
• Designing a range of experiments and tools alongside the sector and CAST team;
• Supporting the design and development of specific programmes, training and interventions that will help shift the sector on AI

About the role:

Art Fund is the UK’s national fundraising charity for art. We give grants to help museums, galleries, historic houses and public arts organisations to acquire objects for their collections, to share them with as many people as possible, and to support research and training for museum professionals. The role

We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to play a crucial role in delivering first class marketing strategies to drive satisfaction, increase revenue and develop lasting engagement for Art Fund's membership (The National Art Pass). This is an exciting opportunity to join the membership team at one of the UK’s leading arts organisations and play a key role in achieving Art Fund’s core mission of helping museums and people share in great art and culture. You will be data & insight driven marketer with experience in customer retention, coordinating multi-channel loyalty programs and building customer journeys via email-marketing tools. You’ll also be responsible for crafting engaging copy that brings members along every step of our charitable proposition, inspiring connection, trust and action.

As a key member of the National Art Pass marketing team, you will be instrumental in:

• Marketing strategies across online and offline channels that maximise retention rates of the National Art Pass
• Supporting a programme of activity that promotes Art Fund’s charitable message to increase membership loyalty and to generate income via regular giving and fundraising initiatives
• Ensuring the delivery and smooth running of marketing automation membership journeys to support all areas of the membership cycle from onboarding and renewals right the way through to lapsed and win-back programmes
• Developing assets and experiences that add-value to our diverse membership, creating engaging communications that showcase what’s on at museums across the UK
• Coordinating membership e-comms and digital services including defining customer journeys, writing copy and forward planning of email content and regular reporting on results
• Collaborating with internal teams such as the Design, Content and external agencies / suppliers to create marketing assets that reflect Art Fund’s brand identity

The ideal candidate will have experience in customer retention, loyalty program management and CRM. Your role will involve using data, audience insights to drive marketing strategies as well as close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to drive the best possible membership experience. Job summary
 
Reporting to the head of growth and sitting within the engagement team you will:

• recruit volunteers by promoting Re-engage’s services,
• develop effective relationships with new and existing referrers such as social prescribers and community link workers
• identify and cultivate new, innovative referral pathways to connect with a broader demographic of seniors experiencing social isolation and loneliness
• support the wider Re-engage team in the delivery of our grant funded projects

 
Engagement officer tasks and requirements
 

• Growing and developing our network of referral partners, including social prescribers and link workers, ensuring that Re-engage's work is promoted to people aged 75 who are experiencing social isolation and loneliness.
• Partnering with communities to create regular, volunteer led, social gatherings for people aged 75
• Utilise Re-engage's CRM (OPUS) to inform evidence-based, data-driven decision-making to develop effective engagement plans.
• Working closely with the service delivery team ensuring that the right people are recruited and engaged into the right roles, in the right place, and at the right times.
• Collaborating with the communications team ensuring the widest possible publicity for the region’s needs through media and social media opportunities, local press, radio, TV, and online forums.
• Liaising closely with the fundraising team delivering against recruitment targets linked to grants.
• Working with the fundraising team on proposals and grant applications using regional knowledge, identifying local need, and collecting case studies.
• Identifying speaking and presenting opportunities ensuring that Re-engage's work is promoted to referrers.
• Working effectively as part of a regional team, maintaining, and growing all Re-engage services.
• Joint accountability, with colleagues in the region, for the engagement of older people and recruitment of volunteers into Re-engage's portfolio of services
• Carrying out any other reasonable tasks assigned to you by your line manager.
• You’ll be a proactive, solution-focused person with passion and skill for networking and building relationships. You’ll be experienced at building and maintaining effective relationships with referrers and social prescribers and will be a flexible, hands-on team player, who will deliver Re-engage's strategic objectives, values, behaviours, and working practices.

Sussex Emmaus is a 58 bed supported accommodation project. We offer low to medium support for those who have experienced or may be at risk of experiencing homelessness. Emmaus supports people to work their way out of homelessness, providing a home for as long as someone needs it. Emmaus works with people who may have faced multiple disadvantages. This can include but is not exclusive to: homelessness; mental health issues; contact with the criminal justice system; historical substance and/or alcohol misuse; and domestic abuse.
Emmaus is a homelessness charity with a difference, we offer a home, work and a sense of belonging. For many people who have experienced homelessness, losing their self-esteem can be the most damaging part of their experience. Emmaus provides an opportunity to work; it can be valuable in rebuilding companion’s self-esteem and self-worth. 

Job Summary:
Provide support to Companions using a person-centred approach, both emotionally and practically, so they can live and work in the Emmaus Community. The role will involve using a Strength Based Practice model to encourage Companions to become resilient and fulfilled. Assist Companions to become independent and maximise their skills, where necessary accessing outside support and services. Where appropriate, in accordance with Companion requests, provide a move-on pathway that enables them to be ready to live independently.

We have a new role available for a Young People Support Worker to work as part of a team delivering an assessment, support and move on service to vulnerable clients in the Brixton.

About the Role

As Young People Support Worker you will be working alongside support team to provide accommodation and support services for young people experiencing homelessness and rough sleeping. You will be responsible for all aspects of the support planning, risk assessment and move-on for a small caseload of 4-5 residents, addressing their physical, emotional, social and behavioural needs and helping them progress towards independence.

Working under the direction, guidance and support of your line manager, you will be responsible for a small caseload of complex needs clients, as well as share responsibility for the safety and wellbeing of all clients, volunteers and staff in the service.

You will ensure that the accommodation is properly maintained and support the client to sustain their tenancy and participate in positive and successful move on.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all clients, following safeguarding and emergency procedures as needed.
• Act as key worker for a caseload of clients, leading on risk and needs assessments and SMART, outcomes-based support plans.
• Provide personalised, flexible, and creative support, involving clients in decision-making and encouraging participation in activities.
• Collaborate with external agencies to support clients, adhering to data protection and information sharing protocols.
• Support clients to access Education, Training, Employment, and Volunteering opportunities aligned with their goals and aspirations.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment, including preparing accommodation for new clients and supporting their transition.
• Assist in coordinating and supporting volunteers and promoting client involvement initiatives and residents' meetings.

About You

You will need to have the following skills and experience:

• Experience of working with clients with mental health and or drug/alcohol dependency issues.
• Ability to work with clients whose behaviour may be personally challenging.

• Experience working in partnership with multi agency teams, including social workers, immigration and mental health professionals.
