The postholder will also manage a Grants & Fundraising Officer, ensuring effective fundraising through trusts, foundations, and grants across the organisation, (Petty Pool, Autism Practical Support and The Ground Up Project).  They will work closely with colleagues across marketing, communications, operations, and governance to build strong relationships with supporters, donors, alumni, executors, and solicitors.

The role will ensure Petty Pool maximises fundraising income while honouring donor intentions and maintaining the highest professional and ethical standards.

You’ll also need excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong IT abilities, and a commitment to compliance with fundraising regulations and GDPR. The role is based at our head office in Tunbridge Wells (moving to Lamberhurst in 2026). A Full UK Driver’s Licence and access to a car are essential as you will visit our other offices, activities and events.

About You

Are you an experienced and confident fundraiser with a trusts and statutory background with the motivation to drive real change for the Armed Forces community? If you have experience in inspiring donor support through persuasive and creative proposals and building positive relationships, and have a can-do attitude, it would be great to have you join our team.

• Experience in a high value fundraising role, raising money from trusts and foundations and/or statutory funders.
• Experience of developing compelling funding proposals, including budgets with programme managers and other stakeholders
• Experience of building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills, organisational skills, and attention to detail
• Excellent writing skills to produce compelling funding proposals and reports for funders.
• Ability to work on your own initiative to manage projects, plan, and set priorities.
• A good understanding of the trust fundraising and/or statutory fundraising environment including key compliance considerations and trends in the sector.

About the Role

In this role you will form a vital part of our High Value Partnerships team; achieving or exceeding agreed income targets through tailored and compelling fundraising proposals to existing and new funders; and matching donor interests with Help for Heroes’ programmes.

You will deliver excellent stewardship managing a portfolio of high value donors, delivering against donor objectives, and seeking opportunities to develop and broaden support. Whilst also contributing to the wider Trusts and Foundations, and Partnerships strategies, including taking on management of special projects as and when required.

About the Team

The Trusts and Foundations Team is made up of the Trusts and Foundations Senior Partnership Manager, the Trusts and Grants Manager, and the Trusts and Foundations Executive, part of the wider High Value Partnerships Team, Commercial Directorate.

Peaches Womb Cancer Trust is looking for an experienced Marketing and Communications Manager who is passionate about developing accessible and relevant assets that reach all current and future stakeholders of our charity. This is a hands-on, creative role that would suit someone passionate about social media, marketing, and making a difference in the lives of others.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with prior experience in marketing and communications to enhance their skills in the charity sector and help raise awareness of womb cancer, and Peaches, with all audiences within a brilliant organisation!

You will undertake a wide range of marketing and communications activities and have an opportunity to inform our direction of travel. The role is part time, working remotely with a requirement to attend regular team meetings in the Greater Manchester area. 

It is crucial that anyone at risk of, living with and living beyond womb cancer has a clear understanding of Peaches’ mission, vision and support. In this role, you will develop our marketing and communications strategy; planning and implementing tailored activity. You will be responsible for growing the online presence of Peaches Womb Cancer Trust and deepening engagement with stakeholders, ensuring our message reaches the right audiences in the most effective ways. You will also have prime responsibility for managing our social media channels, creating digital content and campaigns that raise awareness, promote fundraising and share the stories of those we support.

You will work closely with our Clinical Nurse Specialist and Operations Executive and will be responsible for ensuring that we have the assets and materials we need to achieve maximum sustainable impact for the charity. You will work within our branding guidelines and budget to build upon our previous assets and materials, increasing engagement across all platforms including the media. You will also work with national and international partners on joint campaigns, press releases and events. This is a varied and exciting role. There’s never a dull moment at Peaches!

Area Manager

Permanent, 35 hours

£36,429.86 a year This role will also include a Car allowance of £5,000 per annum.

We are looking for an experienced Area Manager to lead and support dedicated shop teams in the London.

In this pivotal role, you will inspire, guide, and empower your shop teams to perform at their best. Through strong leadership and a hands-on approach, you’ll drive commercial success while building teams who are passionate ambassadors for Scope in their local communities.

Permanent - 35 hours per week (Monday - Friday does include quarterly weekend working). Some home working is involved.

The role will be supporting 13 Scope shops in London. These include: Acton, Basildon, Bexleyheath, Camberwell, Camden, Clapham Junction, Dartford, Fulham, Fulham, Ruislip, Surbiton, Tolworth, Walthamstow, Woolwich.

Overnights stays and travel will be an expected part of the role.

The role

The role is ideal for someone who has experience as an Area Manager, especially if you have worked in fashion or the charity sector. We also welcome candidates from a retail leadership background who have transferable skills, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

· Maximise sales and effectively manage expenditure to achieve profit targets.

· Oversee shop teams composed of both paid colleagues and volunteers to drive performance.

· Support and deliver key activities from the Retail Strategy and Business Plan.

· Identify and develop the potential of colleagues across the Area.

· Build effective working relationships and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsible for the management, running and awareness of the Core Wellbeing Service in Basingstoke and the associated Primary Care Network (PCN) teams. This includes outreach in surrounding areas, providing recovery focused groups and courses and 1 to 1s to service users using hybrid methods, ensuring accessibility and providing regular service updates and reports in line with the contract service specification.

You will lead the commercial performance of our retail, food & beverage, and visitor experience operations across a designated area of nature reserves. About You

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Degree/foundation level or equivalent experience in Commercial, Hospitality, Retail, or Tourism

Essential Knowledge & Skills

• Budget management and multi-site commercial operations
• Understanding of customer service excellence and its impact on income
• Knowledge of H&S, food safety, HACCP, and relevant legislation

The Museum Manager is responsible to the Board of Trustees for the overall operational management of Haslemere Education Museum. Working with the Board of Trustees the postholder will develop the museum’s sustainability, ensuring excellent visitor experience, positive engagement with current and future audiences, fostering strong relationships internally across the staff and volunteer team and externally with the local community and partner organisations.

Person Specification
We are looking for someone with extensive recent experience of leadership management in the heritage/culture sector, including line-management of staff and financial management, with highly developed communication, interpersonal and organisation skills, and a flexible and creative approach to problem-solving.

Qualifications
Degree or equivalent, plus experience of working in a similar role OR specialised skills acquired through significant on the job experience

Essential experience/competencies

Significant demonstrable recent experience leading a multi-disciplinary team in a museum, heritage site, or culture setting

• Managing staff and volunteers, including the necessary skills and ability to develop and motivate a strong team.

• Experience of recruitment, retention, development and assessment of staff and volunteer teams

• Knowledge in the development of exhibitions, events and programmes which engage a range of audiences

• Managing budgets and resources

• Business, financial and organisational planning

• Experience of effective marketing and use of social media to promote events, exhibitions and membership

• Developing and managing projects, including fundraising and grant applications

• Monitoring and interpreting data to inform audience development

Camp Jojo is currently in transition. Over the first 8 years it has worked from one established site in Mersea, Essex; but we are now opening a second site (Nag’s Head Farm) near Appleby in Cumbria. The role of Volunteer Manager (Nags Head Farm) is to provide the management and administration of the key Volunteer sector of Camp Jojo, and to offer administrative support and feedback to members of the Camp Jojo Board in this regard.

The Volunteer Manager will be responsible for successful initial contact, recruitment, communication with and administration of volunteer for the Nag’s Head Farm camps, through to their successful placement at camp. They will also work closely with the Operations Manager: Families and Site Ops. (Nags Head Farm). They will be guided in their role with the existing managers at Ivy Farm, Mersea, Essex.

The primary task of the Volunteer Manager (Nag’s Head Farm) will be to oversee the whole process of Volunteer applications to camps at Nag’s Head Farm, and to maintain and develop databases in support of this. They will be the contact point for information and support throughout the Nag’s Head Farm volunteers’ pathway with Camp Jojo. In addition, they will attend and minute meetings which concern volunteer management, etc.

They may need to work flexibly; the demands will be seasonal, with many more hours needed through spring and summer than autumn and winter. They will also need to be present for the first day of the camps during the summer, which are mostly during the school holidays. The Volunteer Manager (Nag’s Head Farm) will have a varied and sometimes high-paced job environment. As such, they will need to handle multiple tasks, manage their own time well, and interact professionally

The role of Program Manager will work across the whole organisation, towards the successful development of the values and the proven model in a second site; and its partnership with the Essex site will be an important part of the role.

Camp Jojo is growing from a young, largely trustee led, organisation to a staff team led organisation. Again this role will be a fundamental part of that transition. This is a predominantly an operational post, and not responsible for the finances of organisation, though it will deliver operations within the board approved budget. They will also sit on, or chair, several of the Committees of the charity; including the Senior Operations Team.

The role will offer leadership to key functions of Camp Jojo, Camp Jojo staff and contractors, and to members of the Camp Jojo Board, in relation to the work of the charity. Whilst the majority of the work will be remote the incumbent will be required to attend some meetings and events in person, including at both sites. They will also be required to attend at least part of the actual camp events. They may need to work flexibly, according to the seasonal demands of the charity.

The Program Manager will have a varied and sometimes high-pace job environment. As such, they will need to handle multiple tasks, manage their own time well, interact professionally with the Camp Jojo community and be very good communicators. They will deal with model consistency, values, and operational issues across both sites.
