As Employment Consultant, you will work collaboratively with Veterans (clients) and employers to provide information, advice and guidance in order to assist clients to overcome barriers to secure and retain paid, meaningful and sustainable, employment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a diverse caseload of clients with health conditions and complex needs back into employment, providing a professional employment, job matching and career management service.
- Building relationships with key partners in the region to both promote the service and maintain a network of services that veterans can be referred to.
- Providing information, advice, and guidance to clients on areas including application materials, interview skills and training.
- Analysing potential job roles to understand and guide on reasonable adjustments, on-boarding arrangements or training, advocating with the employer on behalf of the client where appropriate.
- Maintaining Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, case notes and other electronic files and client records to the required, high standard to ensure the client journey is documented in accordance with quality standards and in a manner that is respectful to the client.
The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience of helping people with multiple support needs such as health conditions, housing issues, social isolation, substance misuse and criminal records. Knowledge and understanding of current recruitment practices, with the ability to coach clients in application skills and interview techniques is also crucial, alongside a high level of personal resilience, adaptability and flexibility, with the ability to deal effectively and safely with potentially stressful or pressured situations.

Our Digital Welfare Officers provide remote welfare support to RAF personnel and their immediate family, through the use of a variety of communication methods, i.e. Microsoft Teams, webchat, e-mail and social media platforms. About you
To thrive in this role, you will have relevant experience of supporting adults, families and children/young people. You will be able to take a flexible and creative approach to problem solving. Due to the remote working nature of the role, you will have excellent communication skills to identify and assess the service user’s needs and work alongside them to develop their personal support plan.

The Role

Identify suitable projects within the strategic plan to create the case for support for ProVeg countries and programmes, which fulfill donor preferences and foundation strategic priorities.

Oversee fundraising events for major donors, and assist the President in managing donor relationships.
2. Management & Leadership

Lead the International Fundraising team, setting annual goals, providing regular feedback, conducting annual performance reviews, and supporting continuous professional development.

Mentor country-specific Fundraising colleagues and support ProVeg's country revenue-generation strategies.
3. Development Planning

Design, develop, and implement a resource mobilization and cultivation strategy for one and three-year periods in collaboration with the President and CEO
Qualifications
Required:
-
Minimum of five years’ experience in senior fundraising at a non-profit, preferably with an international focus. A similar or additional corporate background would also be useful.

Understanding of effective altruism, and up-to-date knowledge of European fundraising trends.

A track record of identifying and securing significant, multi-year funds from donors (minimum five to six-figures), particularly new donors and foundations.

Significant experience in researching and developing strong stakeholder relationships, as well as experience with writing concise reports.

Excellent interpersonal skills, including confident demeanor and experience in engaging with a diverse range of high-net-worth individuals.

Proficient CRM skills and familiarity with fundraising tracking tools and project management

Willingness to travel, approximately six times per year.

Strong motivation to support the plant-based movement.
Preferred:

Knowledge and understanding of the global food-system transition towards alternative proteins.

Formal membership of professional-fundraising bodies.
