Barnardo's is seeking an experienced and collaborative leader to join our Fundraising & Marketing Directorate as Interim Head of Individual Giving. This is a pivotal senior management role, responsible for leading a team delivering a supporter and data focused fundraising programme, inspiring the public to donate, do more and build loyalty through authentic and compelling communications aligned to Barnardo's strategy. It is a critical income stream—raising over £13 million annually.

About the Role 

As Head of Individual Giving, you will lead a high-performing team of fundraising specialists across regular giving, cash, raffle, lottery, and legacy marketing. You will support in the development of the long term growth plan, work in inter disciplinary teams on campaign development and delivery supporting your team in this new way of working and be responsible for executing the plan so that it drives growth in acquisition, retention, and lifetime value of supporters. 

You will play a key role in the Fundraising & Marketing Leadership Team, contributing to the development of the charity's overarching fundraising & marketing strategic plan and embedding a culture that strives for excellence, focuses on continual improvement, and delivers in collaboration with others. 

This is a role for a experience professional who can translate insight into action, lead complex programmes with agility, and inspire teams to deliver outstanding results. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Strategic Leadership: Support the development of a Fundraising & Marketing growth plan and deliver a multi-year Individual Giving programme that supports sustainable income growth and deepens supporter engagement. 

• Programme Oversight: Lead the planning, delivery, and optimisation of multi-channel fundraising campaigns, ensuring they are data-driven, audience-centric, and aligned with Barnardo's brand values. 

• Financial Stewardship: Manage a multi-million-pound income and expenditure budget, with responsibility for forecasting, contingency planning, and risk mitigation. 

• Cross-Organisational Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across Digital, Brand & Marketing, Supporter Care, Services and Compliance, Supporter Data & Insight, Communications and Children's Services to deliver integrated campaigns and a seamless supporter experience. 

• Insight led continual improvement: Embed a culture of test-and-learn, using market intelligence, segmentation, and performance data to inform strategic decisions and drive continuous improvement. 

• Leadership & People Development: Lead and develop a large team of direct and indirect reports, fostering a high-performance culture and supporting professional growth.

You are a senior fundraising professional with: 

• A proven track record in strategic planning and delivery within a large, complex organisation. 

• Extensive experience in direct marketing and individual giving, with demonstrable success in income growth and supporter engagement. 

• Strong financial acumen and experience managing substantial budgets.

Sounds great, what will I be doing?

The role involves supporting the Payroll Manager in preparing the monthly payroll on schedule, handling additional payments and deductions, and stepping in to run payroll processing when needed. Responsibilities also include monitoring expense claims to ensure they are properly documented, advising staff and managers on payroll and timesheet issues, ensuring timely completion of timesheets across the organization, and performing other duties as assigned by the Payroll Manager.

Responsibilities and Duties 

• Develop and implement a comprehensive multi-year fundraising strategy that encompasses diverse income streams, working collaboratively with senior leadership to coordinate efforts and maintain an up-to-date fundraising pipeline.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced community fundraiser who will play an instrumental role in our established as well as new fundraising events, community engagement, stewardship, increasing awareness of the Centre as well as income generation.

What You'll Be Doing

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Engage, inspire and encourage supporters, schools, community groups and high street businesses fundraising on behalf of the charity, helping them to achieve their full potential by providing a positive supporter journey.

About the role

As a Housing First Coach you will deliver high quality person-centred support, using psychologically and trauma informed approaches, in line with Housing First principles. You will take a bold approach to establishing open and trusting relationships with people who have had long histories of homelessness or in temporary/insecure accommodation, enabling them to access and sustain accommodation and empower them to exercise choice and control over their lives. The team is multi-disciplinary – Coaches, Peer Support Worker, Clinical Psychologist – which allows us to collaboratively formulate innovative approaches to support. The team operates across London, providing numerous opportunities to build impactful partnerships and contribute towards systems change. 

About you

· To be successful in this role you will be a self-starter, flexible and have experience of working collaboratively as part of a team and with internal and external partners. 

· You may have a background in housing/homelessness support, adult safeguarding, drug or alcohol recovery services or mental health and have significant experience of working within a multidisciplinary setting with the ability to create strong professional relationships and creative solutions. 

· You will have experience of working with people who have faced severe and multiple exclusion and who may be considered to have ‘complex needs’, with an understanding of the needs of people who have been homeless for long periods of time.

· You will be willing and able to provide practical assistance with moving into and maintaining a home – including direct help where necessary with tasks such as shopping, budgeting, cooking, and cleaning. 

· You will also have a knowledge of Housing First and housing led approaches and the ability to work within a psychologically informed approach.

As the Infrastructure Lead, you’ll guide the maintenance, support, and continual improvement of the MND Association’s technology infrastructure. Ensuring systems are stable, secure, and efficient so our teams can focus on achieving our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaboration across Technology teams to maintain and enhance infrastructure in line with Association goals
• Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting for infrastructure issues, ensuring minimal disruption
• Monitor and manage servers, networks, firewalls, and cloud platforms to optimise performance and reliability
• Develop and implement security and infrastructure best practices, including proactive patch management and cyber security compliance
• Plan and deliver infrastructure projects such as upgrades and migrations with efficiency and minimal downtime
• Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of configurations, processes, and changes
• Grow excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Track costs, ensuring alignment with financial plans and budgets

About You:

• Extensive experience in infrastructure management or a similar role, with expertise in server and network management in hybrid environments
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Strong understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP
• Confident working with Microsoft technologies including Windows Server, Entra ID, and Azure
• Experienced in managing virtual platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V
• Skilled in documenting systems and processes clearly and accurately
• Proven people management skills, with the ability to lead, support, and develop colleagues effectively
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability with a focus on delivering practical, secure, and reliable outcomes
• Ability to automate tasks through scripting (e.g. PowerShell), coding or orchestration tools

About You

Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, the postholder will be ambitious and proactive, supporting in the creation of new relationships and looking for ways to promote the charity in various local settings. The Central Office Administrator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the central office facility, including day-to-day oversight of organisation-wide services provided by SCT’s external IT support provider.

Title: Data and Reporting Officer – Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs)

About the role 

Sightsavers work in Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) contributes to a range of public health problems to reduce disparities, lower disease burdens, and build locally owned sustainable health programs. The NTD Data and Reporting Officer sits within the NTD Surveillance unit and provides a single point of contact for programme and country teams on data monitoring and reporting. 

The position will be based in the UK, with occasional travel to Sightsavers headquarters in Haywards Heath, and international travel up to four weeks per year. 

As the NTD Data and Reporting Officer you will help standardise, consolidate and continuously improve directorate Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) tools and processes, maintain data architecture for NTDs, ensuring core organisational data assets are of high quality, cohesive and accessible, and manage secure storage for NTD data reporting. 

Further responsibilities include: 

• Maintain a cross-departmental M&E calendar. 

• Develop and disseminate and track quarterly planning and reporting templates for country office/partners. 

• Quality check data submissions prior to consolidation against organisational data policy. 

• Ensure programme plans (targets) and associated performance data (actuals) are timely and accurately entered in core organisational data systems. 

• Process and analyse large, complex datasets on request for directorate senior management, donors and partners. 

• Conduct detailed reviews of donor reports, narratives and press releases to ensure any referenced data is accurate and appropriately referenced.

• Provide day to day capacity building and support for directorate and country office staff on data monitoring and reporting. 

• Provide ongoing support to licensed NTD data systems, including acting as a first point of contact for the directorate NTD data helpdesk. 

• Participate in NTD programme and team meetings.

Skills and Experience 

As the successful candidate you will possess practical experience or an undergraduate degree in international development, public health, international relations, geography, statistics, or an appropriate equivalent. You will also have excellent English language skills, have an understanding of international development issues and a commitment to equality of opportunity for people with disabilities, and have experience within data reporting and monitoring. 

Further requirements include: 

Essential 

• Excellent problem-solving and analytic skills, with the ability to work with large, complex datasets. 

• Understanding of data privacy and best practices in data security. 

• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to identify critical issues and communicate these effectively to colleagues. 

• Able to facilitate group-training sessions, with a focus on programme systems and data, building capacity in developing country contexts in areas relevant to position. 

• Advanced Excel skills, and proficiency with Microsoft suite. 

• Knowledge and understanding of Monitoring and Evaluation reporting. 

• Experience processing and analysing large and complex data sets. 

Desirable 

• Working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese. 

• Experience of working in different countries, preferable within NTDs or the public health sector. 

• Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and data visualisation platforms, such as PowerBI and Tableau.
