 About the role

 We are recruiting a Fundraising Marketing Manager to support income growth through the delivery of Birmingham Hospice's income generation communications and marketing activity.

 This is a two-year, fixed-term post covering a secondment – a genuine opportunity to make a lasting impact for a charity with ambitious plans for the future.

 Working closely with income generation colleagues, you'll bring together fundraising, media, marketing, digital, creative and campaigns activity to maximise income, supporter acquisition and retention.

 You'll be confident leading projects and working collaboratively across teams to deliver impactful campaigns through social media, email and paid media, bringing creativity, innovation and new ideas to help secure and grow all forms of voluntary income and raise the profile of Birmingham Hospice.

 What you’ll bring

•  A background in a fundraising and/or communications environment
• A proven track record creating multimedia communications campaigns, including social media, email and paid digital advertising (e.g. Meta, Google, TikTok ads)
• Experience of developing and managing digital channels, including websites and a variety of social media platforms

We’re looking for a Regular Giving Fundraising Assistant to be responsible for provide support to our Regular Giving Fundraising team, who are responsible for some of our most popular fundraising products.

What does this job do?

As Regular Giving Fundraising Assistant, you’ll:

• advise internal teams and external fulfilment companies regarding public queries relating to regular giving products, ensuring enquiries and complaints are handled swiftly and effectively,
• provide support for the Sponsor a Dog scheme, from arranging photoshoots to liaising with rehoming centres to prepare new sponsor dogs information,
• assist with the day-to-day running of the Companion Club, ensuring a smooth experience for our dedicated supporters,
• contribute to copywriting and planning for Sponsor a Dog content.

This role is fixed term until September 2027. Interviews are provisionally scheduled for 7th, 8th and 9th September 2026 and will take place on Teams.

You’ll work with the Marketing & Communications team to deliver compelling campaigns, build relationships with local businesses and community partners, and champion The Engine Shed’s sustainability credentials. You’ll also work closely with University Estates, Campus Services, elected officers, and SU leadership to ensure the venue continues to evolve in line with student needs and organisational strategy.

As the designated Premises Supervisor, you’ll ensure full compliance with the Licensing Act 2003, conduct regular risk assessments, and lead staff training on health and safety and emergency protocols.

The Digital Marketing Executive role is central to making sure that activity is delivered accurately, efficiently and on time.

Role Overview

The Digital Marketing Executive is responsible for the operational delivery and co-ordination of Premier’s digital marketing activity. Working closely with the Head of Digital Marketing, you will help ensure campaigns, digital fundraising activity, commercial advertising, outbound e-mails and website pop-ups are planned, booked and delivered to a high standard.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, detail-focused and confident managing multiple priorities. You will work across Premier’s Digital, Commercial, Marketing, Fundraising and Content teams, helping to turn plans into well-executed campaigns that serve our audiences and support our mission.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Campaign Operations and Delivery – Coordinating and delivering digital marketing campaigns across e-mail, website, display, audio and other digital channels, ensuring activity is accurate, timely and effective.
• Advertising and Commercial Coordination – Managing digital advertising bookings, scheduling and delivery across Premier’s platforms, and acting as a key operational link between the Digital and Commercial teams.
• E-mail and On-site Communications – Overseeing outbound e-mails, website pop-ups, overlays, banners and calls to action, making sure they are well scheduled, tested and aligned with wider priorities.
• Workflow and Team Coordination – Maintaining clear processes, coordinating assets and approvals, supporting the Digital Marketing Assistant, and helping teams work smoothly together.

We are looking for someone with:

• Proven experience in a digital marketing operations or campaign delivery role
• Hands-on experience building and delivering e-mail marketing campaigns
• Experience coordinating digital advertising, campaign schedules or inventory
• Strong organisational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously
• The ability to interpret briefs and turn them into practical delivery plans
• Excellent written communication and proofreading skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across teams and support a junior colleague
• An analytical approach, confidence using campaign data, and a calm, proactive, solutions-focused attitude under pressure

The Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust is looking to recruit a Communications and Media Officer to join our small and driven team supporting young people aged 8-24, who are living through and beyond cancer.

Use your storytelling, editorial, copywriting and creative skills to help inspire young people to join our lifechanging trips and generate the fundraising support we need so the door is open for more young people to benefit from our adventures.

No sailing experience or knowledge is required, just a passion for applying your talents to make a real difference in young people believing in their brighter future after treatment for cancer.

You might be a graduate journalist, PR account executive, communications assistant, or someone with equivalent experience who is ready to take your next step in a varied and rewarding role with one of the country’s leading young people’s cancer charities.

What you will do

A year-in-the-life of our Largs-based Communications and Media Officer has two distinct parts. October to April - where it’s all about getting the word out there to support fundraising and encouraging young people to sign up for our life-changing adventures. Then it’s the summer - May to September - when the magic happens and you’re around the trips, interviewing young people and telling their stories. You can go sailing on the trips too!

You will be responsible for identifying story opportunities year-round, and writing press releases, media advisories or editorial content to pitch those stories to a range of media outlets, from local newspapers and regional broadcasters to national, charity, marine and other specialist publications, and facilitating inbound requests for interviews or other profile-raising opportunities.

You will serve as our go-to copywriter for print, online and digital marketing materials as well as writing other articles and feature content as requested. This includes responsibility for writing and overseeing the production of our annual in-house publication, Inspire.

You will also work closely with the social media team, gathering (and if you have the experience, producing) multimedia content for our digital and online platforms. There will be wider responsibilities across the communications team too.

Copywriting

• All editorial and copy creation (internal and external requirements/requests).
