In this pivotal role, you will lead the growth of our commercial arm, HLA Enterprise (HLA-E), by expanding income streams, strengthening partnerships, and ensuring the long-term sustainability of our innovative learning platforms, including Kaya. The Humanitarian Leadership Academy's (HLA's) mission is to inspire a movement for locally led humanitarian action. Our purpose is to work with local actors and organisations to provide tailored resilience and crisis response support that addresses their specific needs, focusing on nurturing and empowering local leaders, driving collective action through our networks, thought leadership & research and amplifying local expertise, creating opportunities for change and collaboration.
The HLA provides learning opportunities that help the humanitarian sector become more locally led, reaching over 450,000 learners in 190 countries. Through our commercial arm, HLA Enterprise (HLA-E), we deliver innovative online learning products and consultancy services, centred around Kaya, our global digital platform offering 500+ courses in multiple languages.
About the role
As the HLA Sales Lead, you will lead and manage commercial activity for HLA-Enterprise (HLA-E), driving the growth and diversification of income streams by selling our innovative learning products and services to individuals and organisations in the humanitarian and development sectors.
You will be responsible for acquiring new partners and renewing and expanding existing ones. This involves identifying opportunities, working closely with HLA teams to create awareness of our offer, converting enquiries, upscaling partnerships, and building a strong portfolio of clients for Kaya and other e-learning solutions. You will also play a key role in building partnerships across Save the Children and the wider sector, ensuring the financial sustainability of HLA and supporting its strategic direction.
In this role, you will:
- Deliver on HLA-E sales strategy to diversify and increase HLA-E income streams, ensuring delivery of agreed targets and business growth
- Ability to ensure clear and timely reporting of the sales performance.
- Support the development of a new go-to-market strategy to grow HLA's commercial revenue from products and services, working to set and achieve agreed income targets for 2025-2027.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities in the e-learning market for HLA's solutions, products, and services, ensuring a robust prospect pipeline.
- Responsible for all Kaya & HLA-E sales, account management of clients and pitching for new clients/audiences and on-going client management.
- Enhance the customer journey to improve conversion rates, managing key performance metrics such as income, profitability, and return on investment.
- Build and manage relationships with potential customers and partners by working closely with HLA colleagues across various functions.
- Explore innovative funding mechanisms that provide mutual benefits for the HLA and donors, such as social investment.
- Represent HLA in external forums to promote its mission and seek new opportunities for collaboration.
- Support strong internal communication and contribute to building an inclusive and supportive team culture.
About you
We are looking for someone with the following experience, competencies and skills:
- Strong understanding and proven experience in sales and target setting
- Strong account management and relationship management skills

Ways of Working:

Job Purpose
BSR education programme is a key benefit to members and the wider rheumatology community, providing updates on the essentials needed to deliver top-quality care for patients and ensuring professional development opportunities.
This role sits within the Education team who are responsible for delivering BSR’s educational activity. Working alongside the Head of Education, the Events and Education Manager, Event Executive and the Digital Events Manager, you will assist in the planning and delivery of a range of education courses, webinars, bursary schemes and digital learning activities. You will work with the team to support the work of our Education Committee, Trainee Committee and Digital Learning Board.
This is an exciting role for someone looking to get more hands-on experience in planning and executing a variety of educational events and activities and liaising with multiple stakeholders. It is a unique opportunity to be part of the team at the forefront of rheumatology education, making a tangible impact on the professional development of members and the broader rheumatology community.
Main Responsibilties
Event & Course Management
- Lead on course and webinar registration processes, including delegate bookings, communications, data management and reporting, and producing delegate materials.
- Support course logistics including venue sourcing and management, accommodation and travel, catering and AV.
- Support stakeholder management at education courses, including communications with patients, sponsors and event supporters.
- Occasional travel, including attendance and overnight stays at BSR conferences, courses and events.
Systems & Data Management
- Oversee the team’s CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) and registration systems, ensuring data integrity, implementing system enhancements, coordinating stakeholders, and carrying out testing.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate the rheumatology training webinar series, including topic development, speaker management and live delivery.
- Coordinate the education bursary programme, including promotion, application management and financial reconciliation.
- Coordinate CPD accreditation of educational activities.
- Support the delivery of digital sponsorship and educational partnership opportunities.
Marketing & Communications
- Work with the Marketing and Communications team to create digital content to engage target audiences.
General Duties
- Manage events inbox and education team enquiries, delivering excellent customer service.
- Input into education budgets by monitoring progress against income and expenditure for owned projects.
- Support with BSR Committee liaison and logistics.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by the Head of Education and the Events and Education Manager.

The River Great Ouse Valley Wetland Arc Project
The Parks Trust has been awarded £213,000 from the National Lottery Heritage Fund to create a landscape-scale masterplan for the River Great Ouse Valley Wetland Arc. This wonderful landscape spans 355 hectares (approximately 500 football pitches) along the River Great Ouse in the north of Milton Keynes. The Wetland Arc project will help The Parks Trust to plan for a future of nature recovery along the river valley and encourage community participation in and activation of the landscape.
The Wetland Arc project is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thanks to National Lottery Players, we have been able to secure funding for a Project Officer to deliver project events and activities.

Job Summary
- Developing the diocese’s social media presence on its current platforms – Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn– developing content and campaigns according to an annual content plan which incorporates all church seasons, awareness days, liturgical events, as well as sharing the key messages and events from the Diocese particularly in relation to the 2025 Bid for national funding.
- Working closely with the Comms team, Strategic Development team and senior staff to identify stories and examples of good ministerial practice and creative ideas that can be communicated with our wider diocesan community through social media, fostering a culture of information and ideas sharing across the diocese.
- Being part of wider strategic conversations to consider the role of social media in how the diocese can effectively communicate information about the Bid process and how benefices can engage with it, particularly in communicating with children, youth and families and youth leaders.
- Assist with the development of a strategic plan which grows the diocesan presence on new platforms, such as TikTok and BlueSky, with the specific aim of generating content that reaches younger audiences and that is more missional and ‘gospel-centred’, keeping up to date with online trends.

Beacon, now in its second decade of operation, has experienced substantial growth over the last three years, including an organisational rebrand and expansion into international projects. We are now recruiting a Senior Patient and Scientific Engagement Officer to play a central role in delivering ambitious projects that put patients at the heart of translational research.
This role sits at the crossroads of patient involvement and scientific communication, building meaningful collaborations between patients, researchers, and other stakeholders. You’ll provide essential operational support and subject expertise to ensure projects run smoothly and reflect the real-world needs of the rare disease community.
You will contribute primarily to two of Beacon’s major collaborative initiatives: REMEDi4ALL, a European-wide drug repurposing platform with over 25 partner organisations, and the LifeArc Translational Research Centres for Rare Disease (LifeArc TrC4RD), a UK-wide partnership. In this role, you will work directly and regularly with partners across these consortia, encompassing patient group leaders, patient representatives, academic researchers, clinical trialists, and beyond. Since 1990, Public Law Project has held power to account through key legal challenges. PLP’s recent work, delivered in close collaboration with its brilliant clients and partners, includes challenging the government’s Rwanda immigration policy, securing justice for the Windrush generation, and scrutinising the use of AI in public decision-making.
Our work is highly respected and deeply valued across the legal and social justice sectors. To continue tackling the most pressing legal injustices of our time, we need you to increase our reach and engagement with our key audiences (including policy makers, the legal community and civil society organisations), amplifying our influence and impact.
The Role
Reporting to the Communications & Engagement Director, this is an exciting role focused on supporting and building PLP’s external profile and audience engagement. You’ll be responsible for: building relationships with journalists and securing media coverage, day-to-day content creation and the development of our digital channels. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the organisation, as well as partners and clients, to ensure our communications are timely, inclusive, and impactful.
This is an exciting time to join the team. You would be communicating PLP’s work at a time when many of the issues we work on – from immigration to AI – have never been more salient. You would be joining us after we’ve launched our bold new strategy, which envisages a strategic role for external communications. You would be part of an exciting creative process to refresh our visual identity and narrative.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- A creative storyteller: You will have strong news judgement and storytelling ability and will enjoy translating complex legal and policy issues into compelling content that engages and inspires
- A collaborative colleague: You will enjoy working across teams with colleagues at all levels and with external partners and clients
- Organised and determined: You are an excellent project manager who enjoys developing plans and putting them into action
- Committed to Equity: You resonate with PLP’s commitment to understand and address the effects of discrimination in all our work, both external and internal.
