The Role

Based either at our Head Office in Basingstoke, Hampshire, remotely or hybrid, you will lead and manage the development and delivery of income growth from corporate partnerships.

In this fast-paced and exciting role, you’ll be proactively identifying and securing new partnerships, whilst nurturing and maintaining existing relationships. Working with the wider engagement and fundraising team, you will ensure donors receive the best experience and an integrated and joined up fundraising plan is delivered.

About You

We’re looking for an enthusiastic manager with knowledge and experience of corporate account management and new business development. You will be experienced working in a fundraising environment and managing key fundraising projects.

We are looking for an additional support worker with lived experience of self-harm to join our existing team working with people who have attended A&E for self-harm treatment. This role has been developed specifically for people who have lived experience of self-harm. Self-harm can take many forms but for the purposes of this role we mean things which someone has done to themselves with the clear intention of causing harm.

This role is not about sharing personal stories of self-harm, but some exploration of your experiences will be part of the interview and training process. All questions will be provided in advance of the interview and training will be run in a small, closed group. Both the interviews and training will be facilitated by people who have used their self-harm experiences in their working lives.

Duties and responsibilities

1. Support the day to day running of the Lived Experience Service by:

• Offering tailored follow up support to people of all communities and genders who have attended A&E for self-harm treatment including face to face or video chat meetings, researching community support and guidance in finding and using self- help resources based on the principles of mutual experience, empathy and holistic support;
• Where appropriate sharing ideas about ways of achieving goals, drawing on personal experiences and assisting people to decide what they want to achieve based on their circumstances and personal resources;
• Administrative tasks including researching and updating service resources and maintaining accurate client records in line with organisational confidentiality, data protection and safeguarding policies.
• Supporting their own wellbeing by engaging in regular supervision and appropriate training

2. Contribute to the overall running of the organisation through:

• Attending team meetings
• Supporting the development and/or running of organisational resources, events and campaigns relevant to their role
• Having an awareness of the aims of the organisation and adhering to Safeguarding procedures at all times

LSO Discovery is seeking a proactive, creative, thoughtful and highly organised individual to manage and support projects within the Community programme. With creative communities sitting at the heart of the Arts Council England’s strategy, the role will be key to supporting the LSO’s strategic work in the community. Working across a range of projects, the role will allow for the individual to both support the Community Senior Projects Manager as well as take a lead on managing a few of their own projects. The programme areas covered in this role include:

1.  Inclusion: through LSO Create, delivering creative sessions for neurodiverse, disabled and non-disabled adults, as well as access to LSO open rehearsals and planning/delivery of the Relaxed Lunchtime concert series at LSO St Luke’s.
2.   Health and Wellbeing: 
   • Hospitals programme delivered in partnership with NHS trusts, including projects with children, parents, older adults and NHS staff.
   • Older Adults: LSO Connect brings communities together through creative music-making, offering opportunities for sharing stories and musical exploration in a positive, creative and kind environment, with the intention of reducing loneliness and social isolation.
3. Families: workshop programmes and concerts for Families with Under 5s, both at LSO St Luke’s and with children’s centres and Islington-based early years service provider Bright Start.

• A minimum of two to three years of relevant professional experience, preferably in an arts organisation
• Experience of managing or administering education or participatory projects

New Horizon Youth Centre runs a busy day centre from Monday to Friday, providing basic needs to young people experiencing homelessness and a one-stop-shop for housing advice, youth work activities, counselling, jobs, education and training support. The Services Manager (Day Centre) is a brand new role for the organisation. The Role

As a Project Lead for the ASB team you will be:

• Managing a small team of ASB caseworkers including performance management, monitoring and support
• Responsible for allocating cases within the team and analysing statistics and data in order to monitor daily caseloads against resources and look for trends/ pattern of behaviour
• Working with the Operations Manager to ensure delivery of the business plan and associated outcomes

• When the service requires, holding a small caseload providing high quality support to service users in line with VS policies and operating procedures.

The role is home-based within Devon and Cornwall and therefore is open to applicants who both live in this area and have access to an appropriately confidential space in which to work.  Regular travel within working hours will be expected across Devon and Cornwall to fulfil the role and travel expenses are paid.  Core service hours are between 9am – 5pm, with the expectation to flex to need where required, managed within flexible working arrangements.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9.30am - 5.30pm with some out-of-hours work needed for events such as our Spear Celebrations

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

Strategy, vision and impact [25%]

• Be at the forefront of leading Resurgo’s ‘big picture’ vision of a transformed society, empowering churches to transform young lives
• Build and implement a strategy for developing relationships with local referral agencies to ensure effective recruitment of young people onto the Spear programme
• Oversee the reporting of the Centre outcomes and ensure the Spear Programme is delivered in line with agreed targets

Leadership, line management and training [25%]

• Lead your team with confidence; spurring them on in Resurgo’s mission; invest in a team culture of excellence, belonging and fun
• Manage and develop the Lead Coach and Graduate Coach, using a coaching approach to invest in their growth and development. This includes weekly 1:1s, performance reviews and regular feedback
• Equip your team to drive change through a data informed approach, and keep them accountable to agreed targets for the Spear Programme

Relationship management [20%]

• Manage great relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including referrers, local businesses, donors, and your Board of Trustees
• Embed into your local church; working closely with your Spear Trustees and congregation, and actively participating in their mission and events
• Partner with the Spear Trustees and assist in implementing their funding strategy by helping to build corporate and donor relationships. For example, by hosting prospective donors in the Training Room

Delivery of the Spear Programme [20%]

• Support group and 1-1 coaching with numerous 16-24-year-olds: equipping them with practical work-ready skills and resilient mindsets
• Provide guidance to the Lead Coach in the training room when dealing with behavioural and safeguarding situations and upskill coaches with consistent coaching feedback
• Use a coaching approach to engage young people in challenging conversations that will enable them to take responsibility and over significant barriers to employment

Operations [10%]

• Liaise with relevant staff regarding site operations and work to resolve any issues as soon as possible, ensuring the office and training room are safe and tidy working spaces in line with health and safety policies

New Horizon Youth Centre has been commissioned by the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) as part of an Alliance with Safer London, St Giles Trust and the Anna Freud Centre to deliver on their Children and Young People’s Violence and Exploitation and Reduction support service. The commission will run from June 2024 for three years. As part of this, an additional service will be set up within the NHYC Youth Justice team specifically to deliver on the Alliance contract. The Services Manager will be the key operational lead for the Alliance, and oversee successful delivery of housing casework services to young people fleeing violence and exploitation who are referred in. You should have experience of working in services that support young people fleeing violence or who are impacted by the criminal justice system, and have a solid understanding of housing options for young people under 25. You should be exceptionally well organised and have excellent partnership management skills.

Salary: £37,024 - £41,600

About the role
Alzheimer’s Society Local Services teams provide exceptional information, advice and guidance for people affected by dementia.  As a Local Services Manager, you will be home based, leading and inspiring geographically dispersed teams, whilst working as part of a wider Area Management Team, to deliver these fantastic services. 

As a Local Services Manager you will have the rewarding opportunity to manage dementia services across the ten boroughs of Greater Manchester. 

You will provide local operational leadership and management to support the Regional Manager to deliver the Society’s strategy. The role will lead local delivery of high quality, person-centred, safe and secure dementia services and lead the implementation of operational business management systems.  You will champion the delivery of quality in everything we do, ensuring that people affected by dementia are at the heart of our service delivery.

About you
You will have a strong working experience of the Health and Social Care sector and have experience of leading teams to deliver high performance outcomes to excellent quality standards, including through periods of significant change. As we support many diverse groups across the Greater Manchester area, particularly within the South Asian Community, we would encourage applicants that are bi-lingual or multi-lingual to apply. Examples of additional languages within these communities are typically Urdu, Punjabi, Hindi and Bengali.
