WCRF International leads and unites a global network of cancer prevention charities based in Europe and the Americas, providing the science, policy, and strategic direction that guides their work to prevent cancer worldwide.
We are recruiting a Senior Policy Research Manager to lead WCRF’s flagship policy tools, including NOURISHING, MOVING and the Blueprint for Cancer Prevention. You will translate the latest science into actionable policy recommendations, deliver high-quality research projects, and represent WCRF externally to maximise our national and international impact.
We are looking for a candidate with strong policy research expertise, experience in evidence-based advocacy, and the ability to turn complex science into clear policy solutions. You will bring an innovative approach, including exploring new methods such as AI, and be skilled at working across teams and with external stakeholders.
You will have a proven track record in managing policy tools or research projects, building collaborations and engaging senior decision-makers. Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder skills are essential to support WCRF’s strategy and enhance the influence of the Policy & Public Affairs team.

Our Youth and Play Practitioners will play a pivotal role in the Children, Young People and Families team, working as a core team of practitioners to ensure the smooth running of our programmes and services. About the role
This role is ideal for someone passionate about youth engagement, creative resource development, and global civil society collaboration.
As Youth Participation Adviser (Grants & Strategy Support), you will collaborate with young people and civil society partners globally to co-create pilot tools and resources that enable the scaling up of youth participation through the Youth Leaders for Nutrition programme.
In this role, you will:
• Capture learnings from our existing program to inform the design of the next phase for the program.
• Co-develop:
• Toolkits to strengthen meaningful youth engagement at the national level across our global network.
• A youth inclusion checklist for SUN Civil Society Alliances (CSAs).
• Safeguarding guidance and training resources in collaboration with Save the Children UK's safeguarding team.
• Manage the distribution of small grants to SUN Civil Society Alliances, carrying out due diligence, monitoring the grant reporting from recipients, and reporting on progress and impact to donors.
• Develop creative and impactful ways to gather, analyse and present stories and data from the Youth Leaders for Nutrition programme to support strategy and fundraising.
• Work directly with regional advisors, national alliance leaders and other SUN stakeholders to ensure multi-stakeholder alignment at every level.
• Occasionally represent the SUN CSN Secretariat in internal and external meetings, helping to shape the youth engagement strategy for 2026–2030.
About you
To be successful, it is important that you have:
• The ability to connect naturally with young people, understand their needs, and confidently lead both group discussions and one-on-one conversations.
• Experience in youth mobilisation, campaigning, advocacy and/or communications.
• Experience in small grant management including distribution, due diligence, monitoring and reporting.
• Strong skills in developing resources, building capacity, and identifying or responding to learning needs.
• A creative and proactive approach to problem-solving and content development.
• Comfort working across diverse cultural contexts and a strong commitment to inclusive practices.

We are offering a great opportunity to join our Sheffield Dementia Advice team, providing personalised support to people diagnosed with dementia and their carers.
This is a newly created role to join our dynamic Sheffield local services team, working to increase reach in 9 primary care networks across the city. The post will be working in collaboration with PCN (primary care network) staff, GP’s, Admiral nurses and other health and social care professionals working in dementia diagnosis and care.
This role requires travel for home visits and meetings within the Sheffield area, mileage is payable within the border. Part of this role will be based at home, this is when you will complete admin tasks.
The service provides person centred and outcome focused information, advice and support. This is provided in person on an individual basis, over the telephone, via virtual options, or in writing as well as through in person and online group presentations. You must therefore be comfortable presenting to groups of people.

GamCare is looking for dedicated Helpline Advisers to provide essential support to those affected by gambling-related harm.
GamCare offers helpline support through multiple channels, including our Freephone Helpline, Live Chat, WhatsApp, and other digital platforms such as forums and chatrooms. The Helpline operates 24/7, 365 days a year, ensuring support is always available.
As the first point of contact, you will offer help, advice, and emotional support to individuals struggling with their own or someone else’s gambling. As part of our award-winning Helpline team, you will work on a rotating schedule with shifts running from 7am to 3am.
In return, we will provide you with comprehensive training, regular supervision, and a full CPD programme to support your development.
About You
As the successful candidate, you will hold a professional qualification in Health, Social Care, Psychology, Youth or Community Care, such as NVQ Level 3 or above, or a Diploma in Mental Health Nursing, Counselling, Addiction Studies, Advice, and Guidance. Alternatively, you will have demonstrable experience of working with vulnerable individuals affected by addiction harm and/or complex needs.
We also welcome applications from those with lived experience of gambling-related harm, provided they have professional experience in a supportive environment and a strong understanding of safeguarding legislation.

You will be part of a collaborative and supportive team of Dementia Advisors working in Rhondda-Cynon-Taf and Merthyr Tydfil. You will also support colleagues in Bridgend as part of the wider Cwm-Taf-Morgannwg team.

Responsibilities of our Branch Development Manager:
- accountable for the development, growth and local governance of branches within a designated area
- provide a solution-driven approach with the aim of helping more cats through the effective engagement of local volunteers

What we’re looking for in our Branch Development Manager:
- proven experience of leading and managing volunteers
- proven management/team leadership experience including drafting operational plans
- experience of planning and implementing new processes and systems across a multi-site organisation
- proficient IT skills, including all aspects of Microsoft Office relevant packages and knowledge of database management
- personal and professional manner and credibility that generate trust and confidence in others

The Role
As a Visitor Support Officer, you will provide excellent customer service to visitors by responding to phone calls, emails and face-to-face interactions at the reception desk at our headquarters in Hyde Park.
