We’re looking for a Head of Education and Support that can help us grow and deliver our vital mission. This is a rare chance to design and deliver an education and support programme from the bottom-up, and to build a compelling strategy that offers children, parents and professionals high-quality online safety, mental health and suicide prevention programmes.
You’ll be a proven leader, with the strategic nous to identify and deliver new education programmes from scratch, the deep sectoral knowledge to design and deliver a suite of new education resources, and the commercial insight to scale and build demand from scratch.

Main Purpose of the Role:
To manage, lead and support the Fundraising and Communications Team to retain donors, increase income and provide clear direction for our communications. This role will involve supporting relationships with sponsors of Action Duchenne’s International Conference, developing and implementing the fundraising and communications strategy, and reviewing our case for support for our core work and projects.
Specific Tasks:
The focus areas and key deliverables of this role are as follows:

Develop and deliver on a clear fundraising and communications strategy, with annual action plans and clear objectives and KPIs for team members.

Purpose
The Philanthropy Leads, reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, are responsible for inspiring new prospective, cultivating and stewarding high-value donors into greater involvement with Christians Against Poverty. The Role
We’re looking for a Culinary Chef Trainer for our brand-new purpose built Commercial and Training Kitchen in The Coronation Food Project Hub, Birmingham, helping combat food insecurity by providing affordable, nutritious surplus food in a dignified and supportive environment for underserved communities. In addition to catering skills, you will need to demonstrate a passion for reducing food waste through innovation and creativity.
Working closely with FareShare Midlands Head of Operations you will develop and mobilise the kitchen and catering service(s) for The Coronation Food Project, enabling significant increase in FSM’s reach, support and impact in tackling food insecurity. You will play a lead part in managing our flagship Kitchen, producing high quality meals from surplus food as well as catering for large corporate events. We are keen to grow a Catering skills programme in line with our Employability strategy and you will need to play a key role in informing and shaping the training programmes. Like most charity roles, this is as much a “hands on” as well as management role.
Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation and Cooking
- Plan, prepare and cook high quality, innovative meals in a timely manner for staff, volunteers, visitors and the public as well as larger catering events, ensuring variety, nutritional balance, and high standards of taste and presentation.
- Ensure all food is made according to the recipe and portion control standards
- Adapt menus based on seasonality and availability of surplus food

About Quest for Learning
Quest for Learning is an education charity on a mission to close the gap for primary school children in Oxfordshire who are falling behind - often due to complex and compounding disadvantage. Role Purpose
This is a hands-on and outward-facing role for a confident, capable fundraiser ready to lead Quest for Learning’s income generation efforts. The Role

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Essential:
- Experience working within a target-driven fundraising or direct marketing team, ideally within an individual giving context
- Experience of managing fundraising or marketing projects across a range of channels, such as direct mail, social media and email
- Experience of data-driven marketing campaigns, including segmentation and campaign analysis to meet objectives
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor communications to a wide range of audiences
- Excellent creative skills, including the ability to write compelling, accurate and persuasive copy across a range of channels
- Competent in the use of IT tools including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience of working with CRM systems
Desirable:
- Experience of working with the Salesforce CRM
- Experience of legacy marketing, or an understanding of charity legacy giving
- Experience of using digital marketing tools including Mailchimp and social media advertising platforms
- Familiarity with relevant legislation and guidance, including UK data protection law and the Code of Fundraising Practice

The Digital Inclusion Worker will be responsible for providing targeted one-to-one digital support and delivering workshops to both disabled and non-disabled residents of Enfield, helping them to improve their digital skills. This will be achieved through the delivery of tailored training and learning programmes designed to promote digital inclusion. The Digital Inclusion Worker will also involve residents in the co-design of the project, network with community groups and partner organisations, support the recruitment of volunteers, troubleshoot technical challenges faced by residents, and assist ECP’s Project Manager in producing key performance indicators (KPIs) and progress reports.
The Digital Inclusion Worker will have extensive Digital Inclusion knowledge to:
- Manage the Enfield Digital Champions (Volunteers) project ensuring adherence to compliance, health and safety matters, and quality assurance.
- Support the recruitment of Digital Champion volunteers to sustain and enhance a network of 10 digital champions per year delivering support and skills training in Enfield.
- Provide training and development opportunities to volunteers to sustain interest and enhance skills.
- Manage the programme of digital skills workshops and work with ECP Project Manager to on-board new locations for groups/sessions.
- Host Bi-monthly network sessions for all champions and provide appropriate related 1:1 support, as required.
- Create bespoke workshop material based on resident top learning priorities.
- Provide digital skills training to Enfield residents to allow them to confidently access the internet to improve social, economic and health opportunities.
- Support the recruitment of volunteers (with help from other partners orgs) from the Enfield community to build intergenerational learning and broaden the project's scope.

- Determine extra requirements, such as employment support, broadband or benefits for targeted content development supported by ECP’s Community Hub team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored digital inclusion workshops to groups and individuals to improve Enfield resident digital skills and knowledge.
- Provide training and a learning programme to enable residents to be digitally included.
- Network with residents to help shape the content and project.
- Support the recruitment of Digital Champion volunteers to assist in the development of the project.
- Troubleshoot for residents encountering issues and technological difficulties.
- Create reports and key performance indicators
Enfield Digital Support:
- Ensure digital needs of residents are met by designing and planning appropriate digital inclusion resources.
- Deliver bespoke digital inclusion workshops to Enfield residents to allow them to become digitally included.
- Supervise digital skills workshops/clinics hosted by Partners that you identify as well as ‘new starter’ volunteer sessions.
- Represent Digital Champions at key digital events / network meetings (e.g., Digital Inclusion Forum) Organise and attend in-person stall to promote digital inclusion services at agreed Enfield Community Events.
Coordination of promotional in-person events/activities:
- Organise and attend promotional events (space, stalls, activities, materials…etc)
- Organise branded promotional materials alongside ECP’s Community Hub team as well as welcome pack/materials for volunteers.
- Prepare article/material for ‘Get Online’ Week and other digital inclusion events.
- Prepare case studies that will demonstrate impact and support drafting of promotional materials.
- Engage with Digital Champions and residents to provide quality assurance/feedback and case studies.
Reporting on the impact of the Digital Advice Network Enfield (DANE).
- Work with the ECP Community Officer and Project Manager to develop mechanisms for identifying and tracking benefits realisation.
- Gather data on DANE Digital Champions and help to complete reports/analysis of impacts alongside ECP’s Project Manager and Data Administrator.
- Provide updates to ECP Project Manager.
- Co-Produce quarterly reviews, reports and KPIs.
- Carry out satisfaction surveys to monitor the project.
- Monitor the equipment required to deliver the project.

Being a Head of Fundraising at St Wilfrid’s
As an interim Head of Fundraising, covering maternity leave, you will need strong leadership skills, a passion for fundraising with a track record for delivering financial results, and a desire to work for a meaningful cause. This role leads an incredible team of 12 dedicated fundraising professionals who, along with the support of our event volunteers, work tirelessly to support our Hospice. Their dedication to, and care for, our supporters generates over £4 million annually, which is vital for funding our care.
This role is pivotal in ensuring our fundraising department thrives, and will be responsible for:
- Developing, implementing and managing a comprehensive fundraising budget, including forecasting for the future, working closely with the Director of Income Generation
- Developing effective fundraising programmes in all revenue streams, identifying priority areas – to enhance the fundraising portfolio of income generation activities; consistently evaluating and adjusting plans and strategies
- Ensuring the close management of income and expenditure, making adjustments where necessary to ensure good financial management
- Leading, building and motivating the Fundraising team, providing leadership and management and overseeing development and training, to enable individuals to reach their full potential
- Collaborating closely with our marketing and retail heads as one of our department leads
Please note this is 30-37.5 hour a week, fixed term contract, until September 2026.
Qualifications and Experience
- Fundraising experience and specialist knowledge at a senior level and in a wide range of fundraising income streams
- Level 7 qualification in Fundraising
- Extensive practical experience at a senior level of leading and developing the skills of a team
- Experience of building high level relationships
- Experience of developing funding propositions, campaigns and securing significant funds in excess of £2m annually
- Experience of successful delivery against targets
- Excellent communication and networking skills
- Right to work in the UK
