As the leading charity funding research into the causes of miscarriage, premature birth and stillbirth, and improving maternity outcomes for women and birthing people, Tommy’s is well-placed to convey hope through real life stories from the families they’ve helped to bring a baby home. Half of UK adults have experienced baby loss or know someone who has. Their research is here to change the story.
The Stories Manager is responsible for amplifying the voice of people who have been affected by pregnancy and baby loss to call for change, while demonstrating the impact of Tommy’s research and support services through storytelling.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver a multi-channel storytelling strategy
- Set up processes and best practice to gather and share stories
- Source and write compelling case studies and lived experience content
- Support and steward individuals who share their stories

Tackling inequities in pregnancy and birthing is a strategic goal for Tommy’s, and there is a great onus for the charity to source stories which represent a diverse breadth of communities and experiences across their owned communications channels, and through our engagement with the media on topical stories.
Working closely with the Head of Communications and Campaigns and colleagues right across the charity, the Stories Manager plays a vital role helping to position Tommy’s as the leading charity funding ground-breaking research to stop the heartbreak and devastation of baby loss and make pregnancy and birth safe – for everyone.

About the role
As the GIS Manager, you will lead the strategic use of GIS at Sustrans, embedding spatial tools and data across the organisation. You’ll manage a small team of talented GIS Officers, support projects, and drive the development of our ArcGIS and FME architecture. By delivering training and promoting best practice, you’ll build internal capability and expand the effective use of GIS.
You’ll oversee the administration of our GIS systems, ensuring strong data governance and continual improvement. Acting as a champion for spatial data, you’ll enable effective analysis to support business needs and help shape evidence-based decision making across Sustrans.

About you

My Life Films is seeking a Finance Manager to ensure the organisation is compliant with all statutory and regulatory requirements with regards to the main charity and its subsidiary. The post-holder is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of the organisation’s finances, including accurate reporting and maintenance and development of financial systems and processes that are fit for purpose.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate Fundraising Manager to lead and grow our corporate giving and partnerships income stream. Corporate Giving at SPEAR comprises just over 20% of our fundraised income, with a mix of direct giving, local COY partnerships and employee fundraising. The Bumblebee Conservation Trust (the Trust) is looking for a part-time, 28 hours per week, Marketing Communications Manager.

As one of two PR Managers, you'll be the key point of contact for all PR communications, helping to develop and execute forward-thinking PR plans and strategies. Responsible for implementing and managing a proactive PR activity schedule, you’ll craft compelling content to entice journalists and the media to support our work. Responding reactively to requests the charity receives.
Championing best practices in PR, you’ll drive effective, integrated campaigns across the UK, ensuring a cohesive approach to both traditional and digital media.
Diving into projects such as Deaf Awareness Week, our ‘It does matter’, access to Ear Wax removal services and major healthcare campaigns, you’ll raise awareness of the barriers facing the 18m people who are deaf, have hearing loss or tinnitus, getting these issues on the national agenda, starting conversations around hearing health.

You will be responsible for:
• Coordinating our PR content calendar, creating and curating inspiring and shareable materials that resonate with our target audiences,reporting on performance against KPIs and making recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Managing media and stakeholder relationships, ensuring timely, engaging, and brand-appropriate responses to queries and feedback.

The Development Manager will play a pivotal role in deepening the connections between the school and our alumni and parent community to inspire financial support.
