The Role
We're seeking a passionate and strategic Programme Manager to join our entrepreneurial team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a creative, fluid environment and is excited about building programmes from the ground up and developing meaningful relationships with a growing network of partner schools as we scale our impact. This is a London-based role, primarily working at the charity’s headquarters in West London.

Role starts from September 2025. 

What You'll Own

• Building relationships with existing school partners and identifying and onboarding new school partners
• Designing and leading innovative volunteering programmes
• Monitoring and collating impact from the charity’s programmes and refining the charity’s impact data collection
• Managing programme/ event budgets

Key Responsibilities

Programme Delivery

• Promoting the charity’s work with new school and community partners and onboarding new schools
• Preparing proposals and designing and organising volunteering programmes with partner schools.
• Leading the programme delivery across a range of activities, including trips, clubs, giving back days and one-off events an projects
• Recording event data on the charity’s CRM
• Ensuring the safety and compliance of all TimeGivers’ activities including conducting risk assessments and  ensuring adequate staffing levels

Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning

• Compiling termly/ end of year school impact reports
• Collating impact from all school partners
• Liaising with external impact consultants as required, refining the charity’s metrics, impact data and collection

Finance and Fundraising

• Preparation and ownership of event/programme budgets
• Issuing donation requests and receipts to the charity’s partners.
• Recording and monitoring expenditure for all programme activities, liaising with the charity’s finance team when required
• Liaising with the Fundraising team and assisting with programme related grant applications

About the role

Join ClientEarth as our next Grants Manager and play a vital role in securing the resources that power our mission to protect people and planet. In this role you will lead on renewing and managing income from major trusts, foundations, and institutional funders, while building strong relationships with some of our largest and most strategic partners. The role also offers the chance to help shape and deliver our fundraising strategy across Europe, the US, and Asia.

Meet your Manager

You will be managed by Jamil De Dominicis. Jamil joined ClientEarth in 2019 and is based in London. As Global Head of Grants, he leads the Grants Management team and oversees ClientEarth’s grants income from trusts, foundations and other statutory and institutional funders. Prior to joining ClientEarth, Jamil worked in various policy, research and grant management roles at the international affairs think tank Chatham House and the National Foundation for Youth Music.

Main Duties

• Manage a portfolio of grants from key Trusts, Foundations and statutory funders. Ensure that funders are aware of project performance, and that ClientEarth’s implementation is always in compliance with grant agreements. 
• Develop and produce well researched and comprehensive proposals and reports to existing donors that meet funding priorities and requirements, within the submission deadline and oversee the coordination of Programme, Development and Finance teams as required for effective grant management. 
• Work closely with the Global Head of Grants, Grants Management Lead and wider Development Leadership on budget forecasts and donor pipeline to ensure effective, joined-up cultivation of prospects and income generation. 
• Oversee, review and, as appropriate, sign–off on the work of line managed staff (including reports, proposal, and other written material for internal and external purposes). 
• Support the Global Head of Grants to develop and implement the team’s annual planning and wider fundraising strategy.

About this job

This year, we’ve embarked on a bold, strategic initiative to enhance our data capabilities.

We’re aiming to improve our data use, integration and analytics to increase engagement, maximise impact and drive forward our strategic goals. Our Infrastructure Systems Manager plays a crucial role in the development, support and maintenance of these systems, implementing the tools and technology we need as well as driving the reduction of IT costs where possible.

This role is responsible for:

• Maintenance of technical infrastructure based on Microsoft technologies
• Automated process creation to ensure systems are monitored and managed
• Migration of remaining on premise systems to Microsoft cloud based solutions

What You’ll Be Doing

As Service Manager, you’ll be at the heart of the service, responsible for both strategic development and day-to-day operations. You’ll lead, motivate and support a dedicated team including a Deputy Manager, Project Workers, Duty and Night Staff, Cleaners, and locums. In addition to:

• Manage the service rota and ensure smooth operational delivery.
• Build strong partnerships with external agencies to enhance outcomes for residents.
