As the Fundraising & Development Officer, you will have experience in fundraising and grant writing and will be responsible for working across the charity to identify new funding opportunities, preparing high-quality applications, and maintaining relationships with key funders.
As a Fundraising & Development Officer, your responsibilities will be:
· Research and identify potential trusts and foundations to approach for funding.
· Work with the Management team to identify projects and proposals.
· Write compelling funding applications and reports to secure financial support for the charity’s projects and initiatives.
· Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key and corporate funders, keeping them informed of progress and the impact of their donations.
· Manage a portfolio of existing trusts and foundations, ensuring timely reporting and stewardship.
· Track and manage fundraising data, ensuring accurate records of all communications and activities and preparing regular fundraising reports.
Required Skills and Experience:
· Proven experience in fundraising, with a strong focus on trusts and foundations.
· Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write persuasive proposals and reports.
· Strong research skills and the ability to identify new funding opportunities.
· Experience in managing donor relationships.
· Highly organised, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
· Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
· Proficient in all Microsoft and Google software applications
Desired Skills and Experience:
· Knowledge of Beacon Customer Relations Management system

The Cadet Centre for Adventurous Training (CCAT) has two main delivery centres, Capel Curig Training Camp in North Wales which includes the Headquarters, and Halton Training Camp near Lancaster. It delivers an annual programme of Mountaineering, Paddlesport, Mountain Biking, Caving and Snowsport National Governing Body (NGB) accredited pathways leading to coach, instructor and leader qualifications for Army Cadets aged 15 plus and their adult volunteers.
CCAT also delivers a broad range of national Army Cadet overseas expeditions and a programme of concentrations from their partner centres in Scotland, southern England and Bavaria.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the CCAT team. We are looking for a self-motivated enthusiastic and experienced Support Officer to work with our Centre Manager at Halton.
You will support the Centre Manager ensuring that all of the administrative and logistical requirements are in place to enable safe, effective and enjoyable Adventurous Training courses and expeditions in accordance with current legislation, Army Cadet policies and NGB guidelines.
You may also be required on occasion to support AT concentrations delivered from our partner sites throughout the UK and assist with the delivery of a programme of national overseas expeditions.
This is a rewarding and flexible role. The position is a permanent full-time post (40 hours per week). The successful applicant will be required to travel occasionally. The starting annual salary for this post is £28,808.00.

About the role
Reporting in to the Head of Impact, the Humanitarian Lead for the Middle East region will play a lead role in setting up new emergency programmes as well as managing existing emergency response programmes across Christian Aid programmes globally but with a primary focus on an agreed set of countries to maximise impact.
The post-holder will will ensure Christian Aid’s people-centred humanitarian reform advocacy agenda is energetically communicated in relevant regional and country policy forums, so that the humanitarian sector regionally takes visible steps toward more people-centred and locally led humanitarian programming and aligns with organisational values and goals.
Some of the key responsibilities of the role of Humanitarian Lead are:
- Manage and collaborate on new and existing humanitarian and emergency response programmes internally and externally to maximise impact.

- Active engagement in Country Leadership Teams ensuring Christian Aid’s humanitarian mandate is integrated within the wider country strategies in line with “Standing Together”.

- Manage an active engagement in humanitarian programme policy advocacy work at national and international level feeding into the broader Christian Aid advocacy agenda around ongoing and crisis specific issues aligning to organisational values and goals.
- Manage our partners and ensure MCC staff are confident in, committed to and inspired by Christian Aid’s humanitarian signature focus on anticipatory action, cash transfer programming and survivor-led response to maximise impact.
- Deliver technical expertise through collaboration from within and outside Christian Aid is effectively engaged ensuring high quality programming.
- Collaborate and coordinate humanitarian programming within the relevant national and regional mechanisms, UNOCHA, clusters, ACT sisters and well recognised within donor and Civil Society circles and take advantage of opportunities to work harmoniously on humanitarian together programmes.

The Role
As a Face-to-Face (F2F) Fundraising Area Manager, you'll lead and inspire a team of membership fundraisers based primarily in the West Midlands with coverage across Shropshire and Worcestershire and this wider vibrant area. Your leadership will play a crucial role in meeting ambitious fundraising targets while upholding the highest standards in ethical fundraising.

The Woodland Trust is looking for a Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) Manager to lead the development and delivery of BNG projects across the Woodland Trust estate, including identifying and managing on-site opportunities and habitat banks.
The Role:
- Build and manage relationships with local authorities, partners, and internal teams to unlock BNG opportunities aligned with our Create and Restore goals.
- Coordinate BNG activities and governance, ensuring regulatory compliance, robust delivery frameworks, and effective reporting across the organisation.
- Provide technical, ecological, and project management support to internal teams, including site assessments, due diligence, and monitoring.

Working as a Service User Engagement Lead you will be responsible for supporting the operational delivery of our service user engagement programme that will be a part of the Minerva service across London, including leading a team of CJS community champions and ambassadors and supporting in the oversight and delivery this programme across our 3 criminal justice services. In addition, this role requires you to build effective relationships with the criminal justice teams across London, and the regions alongside our partners and service users.
An integral part of the Service User Engagement Lead role will include delivering planned monthly supervision and ad-hoc supervision and having oversight of safeguarding and risk management for the CJS champions and ambassadors that you are working alongside. You will support the Senior Service Manager and Service Managers in delivering key information to keyworkers, in staff meetings and in day-to-day interactions to help promote the service user engagement programme.
You will lead your team and service while working collaboratively with fellow Advance managers and teams, external agencies and key stakeholders across London to provide a consistent and holistic service.
Key responsibilities and duties
