As Community Partnerships Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our fundraising efforts, generating income from our corporate partners and supporters in our community; fuelling our essential programs and pioneering pilot initiatives. You'll be the driving force behind building strong relationships with businesses, charities and individuals, that secure vital funding and skilled volunteers for our services.

Previous experience in a community or corporate fundraising role is not essential, but you must have the ability to network productively and pitch proposals to a variety of audiences.

The Income Generation and Communications department is a small but high-performing and ambitious team, working flexibly to support the charity’s frontline services. You’ll be joining a team that will give you the support to be successful, with the autonomy to develop your own role.

This role can be office based or predominantly remote to suit you (albeit there will be times when you need to be in Billericay or elsewhere in Essex).

In order to be successful in this role you must have:

· Full driving license. Able to drive Hamelin vehicles as well as use of own car

About you

We are looking for a skilled and experienced contract management professional with a strong understanding of third sector commissioning and service delivery. You will have a proven ability to manage and monitor complex contracts, ensuring compliance with service level agreements and funding conditions. You’ll be confident in building and maintaining relationships with commissioners, funders, and delivery partners.

You will be highly numerate, with excellent analytical skills and the ability to produce clear, insightful reports that demonstrate impact, value for money, and continuous improvement. You’ll be comfortable working with data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and will support operational teams to address underperformance and drive service excellence.

 How are staff supported to work remotely? 

VoiceAbility has a small number of offices. All Employees are homebased meetings will be held online as well as in person in the relevant community.

What the job involves

This is a unique chance to play a pivotal role in driving impactful external communication strategies that support High Value, Philanthropy and Partnerships teams. As a key player in the Strategic Communications, Campaigns and Brand team, you’ll enable the integration of high value fundraising activities into wider organisational communications, inspiring action to fund life-saving initiatives that help men navigate prostate cancer.

Supporting the Head of Strategic Communications, Campaigns and Brand and our senior Business Partner in embedding and developing our business partnering model. A major part of the role will be enabling the integration of High Value Fundraising activity into the wider communications plan to enhance results from our communications.

You’ll work closely with our Philanthropy, Corporate Partnerships and Appeal teams to help plan and deliver inspiring communications that support our fundraising strategy. From pitching proposals and event promotion to major appeal campaigns, you’ll help build strong relationships with major donors and partners. You’ll also make sure high value fundraising activity is joined up with our wider communications and campaigns to grow fundraising revenue, support our community and improve outcomes for all men affected by and at risk of prostate cancer.

Please note this role is known internally as Communications Business Partner (High Value Fundraising).

About the job

Over the past decade Pembroke House’s activities in Walworth have grown considerably, with annual turnover rising from £200k to £1 million. Further growth is expected as a result of a new strategy anchored around five 10-year commitments to the neighbourhood, consolidation of our activities across two community buildings and continuing to build wide-ranging partnerships in Walworth.

We are looking for an experienced and skilled financial professional who can steward us through this crucial period of development.  You will be someone who combines a passion for our mission, a keen eye for detail and a flair for interpreting financial information and supporting non-specialists to make sound financial decisions. 

Days will be varied spanning everything from helping budget holders report to funders; preparing accurate financial reports and management accounts; to creating the budgets and frameworks for long-term financial planning. The rest of the core finance team comprises a Bookkeeper and a pro bono Payroll Officer based in Pembroke College, Cambridge. Other members of the team manage petty cash, look after the room hire business (including invoicing and credit control) and administer pensions. 

The trustee’s Finance and Risk Subcommittee formed two years ago and a new trustee position of Treasurer is currently being recruited. The Finance Manager will service and attend the subcommittee’s quarterly meetings and be the main contact point with the Treasurer between meetings.

As a new role there will be plenty of opportunity to mould finance operations across the organisation. Finance systems are currently in place, and have satisfied the auditor over the past few years, but there remains scope for improvement, including through automation and upskilling of the wider team.

Key duties and responsibilities

• Foster a culture of financial responsibility, in conjunction with the Leadership Team.
• Draft the audit file and schedules and assist the auditor with follow up questions and queries.
• Lead on the preparation of the charity's annual budget.
• Prepare fundraising budgets, financial claims and invoices for funders in line with (grant) agreements.
• Approve and act as signatory to all contracts for services issued and received.

Business Development Officer £32,000 per annum (pro-rata) plus London Weighting if successful candidate is located in London

• Developing, own and executing 1MM’s employer and mentor recruitment strategy

• Sourcing enough new mentors (on top of 1MM’s existing base) to ensure 1MM has an oversupply (c.15% higher than demand) of fully trained, location relevant mentors available. This year the target is 1600 mentors and will double per year for the next two years. 

• Building a sustainable growth engine that ensures the pipeline of mentors remains sufficient on an ongoing basis through employer, professional and community networks. 

• Generating leads and cold call prospective employer and mentor partners. Tracking and updating all relationships on Salesforce. 

• Fostering and developing relationships with partners and sponsors so that you can generate repeat mentors as well as finding new opportunities 

• Working closely with 1MM colleagues to handover the mentor relationships to the right people across departments. 

• Supporting the CCO to grow 1MM’s corporate income stream by doing market research and mapping employers who support CSR, ESG, Diversity and Community Engagement strategies.

• Presenting with CCO to potential employer partners, hosting stalls at employer conferences and engaging staff networks. 

• Working with the Social Media and Marketing Executive to identify marketing campaigns and collateral in order to attract and recruit mentors.

The Programme Manager role

As Development Lead, you will shape the Trust’s first Engagement Strategy, coordinate an extensive community consultation programme, and manage the London Volunteering and Engagement Programme. You will also oversee delivery partners and help develop a major funding application for the next phase of work. OPERATIONS MANAGER - ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

The Operations Manager is a key support for the church’s leadership and heads the staff team providing management over key operational and missional areas of the church’s activities.

This leadership role supports the ethos and ministries of the church and its mission to be a church for the community - discovering Jesus, sharing God’s love, and caring for those in need.

Leadership:

• Provide administrative support for the Ministers. Develop and maintain administrative, organisational, communications systems and record keeping procedures for the church’s general administration. Maintain membership and constitutional records.
• Administrate the church's IT infrastructure, broadband, phone systems, and utilities accounts and ensure they meet the operational needs of the building and its ministries.
• Assist the Venue Manager to develop and maintain suitable and effective systems, strategy, pricing, communications, contract management, staffing and customer relations.
• Develop the church’s visibility and profile in the community using the church’s website, social media, ArtSpace, and missional displays and exhibitions, ensuring these align with the church’s ethos and mission.

Financial Oversight:

• Oversee provision of financial management information to Leadership team and Trustees, including budgeting, salaries, financial reports, end-of-year statements. Support them in developing financial strategies and policies.
• Oversee the accurate functioning of church financial systems, controls and procedures. Monitor and administrate reserves and investments.
• Ensure WGC's financial practices comply with UK charity regulations. Assist with the filing of the accounts and annual report to the Charity Commission.

Provide financial oversight, management, and support for:

• Venue ministry finances, pricing and strategy
• Finance Administration - ensure all financial records, payroll, pension administration, invoices, and reports are accurate and timely. Authorise payments.
• Manage the buildings budget including liaising with the Estate Manager regarding common parts expenditure.
• Financial interactions with lease and licence holders including new leases, rent reviews, break clauses and lease renewals, insurance contributions.

We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive CRM Project Manager to lead the next phase of our CRM development project.

You’ll operationally manage the delivery of our CRM plan, support the commissioning of a new system, and develop and drive forward a clear implementation strategy. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external providers to ensure smooth delivery, while coordinating training, ensuring compliance, and embedding inclusive practices.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to join our team in Stoke. This role is offered as office based. Regular travel will be required throughout the area. The role is full time working 37.5 hours per week usually Monday to Friday but 1 in 3 Saturdays are required on a rota basis with a alternative day off in lieu.

About the role:

As an Operations Manager (with allowance), you will be leading several services working to support victims across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent. Currently these include the Staffordshire Victim Gateway, Harmony ASB and Mediation service and the Restorative Justice service. You will ensure the provision of these high-quality services, maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, and work alongside the Area Manager to promote and develop our victim services in the area.

You will:

• Lead the service teams to deliver excellent and high quality support to victims of crime and major incidents
• Directly manage service leads/team leaders and have oversight of volunteering activity across the services
• Prepare and deliver reports for contract monitoring, helping to retain and improve current commissioned contracts, ensuring all KPIs are met and effective case studies provided
• Co-develop and implement business plans and ensure team aware of each service's mission and vision
• Monitor local opportunities to build and maintain relationships with funders and all stakeholders. Represent the services in external forum and be proactive to advocate for victims needs
• Work closely with other Victim Support services in the county and beyond
• Promote and lead innovative approaches to improve support for victims.
• Raise the profile of the services and ensure they are accessible and inclusive
• Contribute to the wider work of Victim Support, shaping our campaigning and service design.

About You:

Ideally, you will have proven experience in a similar organisation, demonstrating proactive, innovative, and effective management skills and the ability to secure high levels of performance, motivation, commitment, teamwork, collaboration, and trust from colleagues.

Experience in effective partnership working is essential. Strong communication skills are required, including the ability to deliver presentations, and raise awareness for the services.

Ideally you will have:

• Proven service delivery success
• Leadership of diverse, multi-site teams
• A good understanding of the Criminal Justice system and issues arising for victims of crime

This role will oversee two of our flagship programmes: the WellChild Nurses and Better at Home programme.

Purpose of the role:

Working alongside the Director of Programmes and wider programmes team, the successful candidate will ensure that the collective knowledge and skills of both our national nurse network and our flagship Better at Home suites are embedded into the Charity’s strategy and activities. The post holder will also be instrumental in growing these networks as well as supporting the growth of the projects.

WellChild currently have over 50 nurse posts across the UK and 13 Better at Home training facilities. The successful delivery of these programmes is integral to the charity and ensures that children with complex health needs and their families can access specialist support in their area when they need it. This is a key role within the WellChild team which is responsible for the day-to-day delivery and management of agreed projects within WellChild’s charitable programmes. With the support of the team, you will be able to operate under a high level of autonomy to deliver on these organisational charitable objectives and be responsible for managing relationships with key stakeholders, including health professionals to maximise the outcomes for children with complex health needs and their families.

Role Requirements

• Assist in the recruitment process for Nursing and Care roles, including posting job advertisements, collecting applications, and assisting with shortlisting and arranging interviews.
• Provide support in the onboarding process for new staff, including preparing induction materials and coordinating with the People Team to ensure all pre-employment checks are completed.
• Support the coordination of the international recruitment programme by liaising with the recruitment and compliance teams to ensure all necessary documentation is completed.
• Maintain records of staff absence, including sickness and vacancies, and assist the Business Support Manager in liaising with relevant teams to arrange bank/locum/agency cover as required as well as the required inputs on SMI.
