The Energy and Climate Intelligence Unit (ECIU) is a non-profit organisation that supports informed debate on energy and climate change issues in the UK. We provide independent analysis and accessible briefings to the media and other stakeholders to improve understanding of climate-related topics and contribute to evidence-based discussions. Our work covers a range of issues including land use, transport, the power sector, and heating and buildings, with a focus on the UK but with international work too.
This role involves tracking and responding to media, political, and policy debates on CDR, focusing initially on land-based removals and expanding to engineered removals. You will highlight trade-offs, counter misinformation, and support fact-based future debates.
Working closely with our Head of Land and Head of Analysis, you will contribute new analysis, monitor the debate, and help develop communications outputs. This is a unique opportunity to play a role in how the UK engages with one of the most complex and fast-evolving areas of climate policy.

Role and Responsibilities
·Analyse land use, nature-based solutions, and CDR using various sources and data; present findings clearly in reports, briefings, press releases, and social media content.
·Monitor and analyse emerging political and media debate around CDR and nature-based solutions, including misinformation.
·Provide fast turnaround analysis of breaking developments, synthesising findings into accessible and impactful outputs for media and other stakeholders.
·Stay updated on climate and energy policy, particularly CDR, land use, and related political and media narratives.
·Support strategic planning around key moments, identifying risks and opportunities to support well informed discussion and responsible coverage of these topics.
·Collaborate with colleagues across programmes to develop joined up, multi-channel communications outputs

We are looking for an experienced Area Manager to lead and support 13 dedicated shop teams in the South.
In this pivotal role, you will inspire, guide, and empower your shop teams to perform at their best. Through strong leadership and a hands-on approach, you’ll drive commercial success while building teams who are passionate ambassadors for Scope in their local communities.

The Generation Wild programme is fully-funded until August 2027. For this role, we can offer flexibility around working from home if required. It is expected the role will need to work from their site base a few times a month and as required for key meetings. We are recruiting for two additional Trusts & Foundations Advisors to be key contributors to the development of Sightsavers trusts and foundations programme. About the opportunity
As an Impact Analyst, you will work within a team across multiple social impact projects. An example of one of the programmes you will become a key part of delivering is the Single Homelessness Prevention Service (SHPS) which is a programme that prevents the next generation of rough sleepers.
The programme supports people to sustain an existing tenancy by negotiating with landlords/ family members, or providing coaching to empower people to do so. Where needed, we help them to find and secure a new home, typically in the private rented sector. SHPS services also seek to prevent the mental trauma associated with homelessness by preventing the escalation of the homelessness journey to crisis point.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include.
· Overseeing all data related aspects of the programme including data collection, extraction, cleaning, analysis, reporting, and presentation.
· Manage all Power BI reporting tables and system with support from central teams.
· Gathering and analysing quantitative and qualitative data to measure the impact of service innovations for the programmes you are working across. Produce regular reports and insights that aid decision making to continuously improve programme design.
· Taking initiative to propose and implement relevant analyses to the project to maximise positive impact for participants with the programmes you are supporting.
· Building relationships and working at times directly with Delivery Partners (VCSE organisations who are delivering the frontline services for the programme) to ensure they are able to use the data systems accurately and effectively,

About this job
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Corporate Partnerships team, based in London, with flexibility to work from home. You’ll be part of a growing, supportive and ambitious team, raising significant income to support people living with and affected by MS.
You’ll work collaboratively with the Corporate Partnerships team, internal and external stakeholders, to identify mutually beneficial new business opportunities building a healthy and robust prospect pipeline.
You will be leading on the successful delivery of these partnerships to maximise their life-time potential and ensure they are delivering against financial and non-financial objectives. These partnerships will generate income for our Services and Support projects as well as our exciting Stop MS Appeal; the MS Society’s ten year research-focused national appeal.
You’ll have an affinity for building strong relationships and successful partnerships, great attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills. With a creative, logical and enthusiastic approach, you’ll have the opportunity to work on exciting events, develop compelling proposals and innovative fundraising initiatives.
This is a great opportunity to build on your existing experience within corporate fundraising.
Your key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Delivering income at or above the agreed budget level from corporate relationships and activities as agreed within the annual budget and business plan
- To lead on identifying and securing new business and establish a strong pipeline of prospective corporate partners, that will deliver six figure income targets year on year
- Maximise the fundraising potential of high value existing partnerships through taking responsibility for specific projects.
- Relationship management and pipeline development of corporate partners, delivering agreed objectives and expectations
- To contribute to the overall income generation and implementation of the Corporate Partnership team’s objectives
- To contribute to a positive working environment in which equality and diversity are valued and staff are enabled to do their best
- Accurate and timely reporting on key activities, income and expenditure
