Overview of the Directorate

• The Education Department develops, resources, delivers and manages the ESU’s portfolio of education programmes. This portfolio encompasses teaching programmes, domestic and international competition(s), short- and long-term interventions in schools and external educational organisations, continual professional development opportunities for teachers, school membership, awards & scholarships, all of which are focused on giving young people the speaking & listening skills and the cross-cultural understanding they need to thrive.
   

Purpose of this role

• The main purpose of the role is to carry out and assist in the administration and day to day running of the ESU’s educational programmes, communicating with internal and external stakeholders, and managing delivery staff to ensure collective goals and objectives are reached

 Responsibilities and Expectations

 · Support with the smooth running and delivery of ESU Education’s domestic & international programmes as needed

· Be the first respondent to incoming calls and emails from educators, ESU partners and the general public, providing timely and professional responses to all enquiries

· Manage ESU spreadsheets and data across various Excel and our CRM system to ensure clean and accurate data collection and collation

· As needed, support with the development and improvement of education resources

· Liaise with the ESU’s Accounts Department regarding invoicing, delivery staff pay and expenses.

· Maintain accurate records of all bookings, delivery staff status, schools, public feedback and other relevant information.

· To support with delivery of workshops in schools, undertaking training to ensure delivery and teaching matches ESU standards

· Where appropriate source venues, confirm catering arrangements and other operational requirements regarding Education events.

· Assist the department in ad-hoc admin work as needed such as printing

· Participate in call-rounds as part of the department’s sales and onboarding efforts

· Co-ordinate the collection of process evaluation & impact data.

To work or travel over occasional evenings and weekends as directed by line manager, with time off in lieu.

· On occasion, support young people during workshops, residential programmes and competition events to ensure these key beneficiaries are supported throughout their engagement with the ESU.

About the role:

We are seeking a new Head of Business and Operations to play a crucial role in supporting the Head to review and drive continuous improvement.

The key responsibilities in the role will include:

1. Finances: You will oversee and manage all finances and a multi million pound budget for the school.
2. Human Resources: This will include leading on people strategy, workforce planning and performance management including evaluating the schools operational model.
3. Systems and Processes: One of the immediate priorities for this role will be to evaluate systems and processes (for monitoring areas outlined in the job description) and seek ways to streamline these with innovative solutions.

This role does involve line management of two assistant operations managers as well as other office and facilities staff within the school.

About The Felix Project

The Felix Project is London's biggest food redistribution charity and the largest end-to-end food redistribution charity in Europe.  

Our vision is a London where no one goes hungry and good food is never wasted. 

We rescue surplus food from businesses, supermarkets, restaurants and farms. This food is nutritious, in-date, and safe and includes a high proportion of fresh vegetables, fruit, meat and fish. Purpose of the Job

Based for a minimum of 3 days per week in one of our operational warehouses you will help support Felix’s mission through the development of a network of charities, community groups and other key stakeholders involved supporting vulnerable Londoners across London. Your work will help to build the network’s capacity to accept and distribute food through our depot operations, Green Scheme & Felix Connect and non-food items through Felix’s Multibank. 

Reporting to the Community Engagement Manager the Community Coordinator’s role will focus on Felix’s school holiday provision. You will be involved in the set-up, delivery, monitoring and evaluation of the different programmes throughout the year that provides more than 10 million meal equivalents to families across the 13-week school holidays. Developed from Felix’s regular food delivery models to operate at scale innovation has been part of the development of these programmes. As the Community Coordinator you will be expected to help drive the evolution of the provision and where relevant help deploy as part of our business-as-usual delivery.

You will support your peers, the depot and operational teams, responding to enquiries from the community network to help ensure the smooth flow of food and non-food items whilst delivering excellent customer service. This will include ensuring recipients of our food are compliant with all relevant legislation and guidance as required by our food partners and food business operators. 

You will also help us to effectively monitor and evaluate our growth against our strategic objectives through robust data collection, monitoring and updating using our CRM system.

Resolve Poverty is seeking a Network Development Coordinator to establish a cross-sectoral community of Lancashire (by which we mean Lancashire County Council, Blackburn with Darwen and Blackpool) based stakeholder organisations. Working with this community, the Network Development Coordinator will identify opportunities to strengthen anti-poverty activities across the region that align with Resolve Poverty’s strategic priorities to: 

• Maximise the financial resources available to households 

• Implement effective strategic responses to poverty 

• Equip stakeholders with the knowledge they need to tackle poverty.

This exciting new role, funded by the National Lottery, will enable you to harness the work of Resolve Poverty so that we can have impact. You will join a dedicated and growing team working to maximise the impact of local responses to poverty in order to resolve poverty nationally. 

Title: Network Development Coordinator (Lancashire) 

Location: Combination of homeworking and office based. There is an expectation that you will work one day a week from our offices in central Manchester and that you will travel extensively across Lancashire in order to deliver this role.

Hours: 5 days per week (35 hours). Shorter working hours will be considered for the right candidate.

Job description 

We are seeking capacity to build a Lancashire (by which we mean the area covered by Lancashire County Council and Blackburn with Darwen and Blackpool councils) network of professionals and volunteers actively engaged in resolving poverty that: 

• Creates a space for good practice sharing.

• Shares evidence, research and policy developments through communication channels, training and events. This will:

• Improve the ability of the public sector to implement effective responses to poverty. 

• Enable the VCSE sector to access the knowledge it needs to improve and better target responses to poverty.

Delivering this role effectively will involve: 

• Establishing a network of Lancashire based professionals and volunteers signing up to receive communications. 

• Engaging in key forums and on a one to one basis with key stakeholders, including local authorities, the Combined Authority and VCSE sector infrastructure bodies.

• Hosting meetings, forums and events to create space for anti-poverty knowledge development and activities 

• Delivering against funding KPIs, including network reach and engagement targets.

• Working closely with Resolve Poverty colleagues, including our Business Development Executive and Communications and Media Officer.

• Experience of working in a relevant VCSE sector networking role or with transferable skills developed in other roles.

WellChild, based in the centre of Cheltenham, is the national charity for seriously ill children and their families. We fund
programmes and services to make it possible for children and young people living with serious illness to be cared for at
home instead of hospital.

What we are looking for:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and well organised Family Engagement Coordinator to work within our Family Team. This
role will be working directly with charity beneficiaries - parents and carers of children with serious and complex health

Tree service.

Purpose of the role:
The Family Engagement Coordinator is vital to the success of the WellChild Family Tree Network. This is a growing network
that exists to connect families across the UK caring for a child with serious and complex medical needs with each other
and with WellChild. Through its online Facebook forum, and programme of activities, events and communications, it

The Development Coordinator is a new role created to enable the Worthing Theatres & Museum Development team to raise crucial funds that will support the organisation in achieving its ambitious goals.

WTM has recently undergone a significant fundraising review and a new strategy is now in place. This strategy reflects the organisation’s need to increase fundraised income over the next 3 years (2024 - 2027) to meet its ambitious creative and capital plans to deliver on its mission to offer transformative creative experiences for the community of Worthing.

The postholder will work closely with the Head of Development and Development Manager to deliver the ambitious fundraising strategy for WTM. They will be responsible for raising funds of up to £10,000 per application from primarily Trusts and Foundations and some local corporate partners, and supporting the team with operational tasks including financial processes, events and communications.

Main Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities

Fundraising and Relationship Management

● Manage relationships with Trust and Foundation funders giving up to £10,000 per year including ongoing donor stewardship, reporting writing, crediting etc.

● Secure new income by applying for grants and funding of up to £10,000 to support a range of WTM projects from Trust and Foundations and from local businesses including researching trusts and businesses, identifying suitable projects within the WTM portfolio to apply for, writing bids etc.

Development Operations and Support

● Lead on supporter crediting for the department ensuring that all supporters are acknowledged in relevant digital and print materials across the year.

● Act as day-to-day point of contact for the Development team’s use of the Spektrix database ensuring best practice.

● Work with the Finance team to monitor Development income on a monthly basis and report back to the Head of Development and Development Manager.

If successful, you will sit within the France team of SEO Europe, where you will support the preparation and delivery of multiple impactful and engaging initiatives, such as: 

• SEO Potenti’ELLE Closing event: A celebratory event showcasing inspiring women leaders, introducing the long-term vision for our female leadership programme, Potenti’ELLE, and providing networking opportunities for mentors and mentees.
• France Finance Programme: A 6-month career readiness programme where master’s students benefit from educational Lunch & Learn sessions, industry insight sessions, coaching, soft skills training and access internship opportunities at top investment banks, asset managers and alternative investment funds.
• SEO Europe Finance Academy: A 1-week immersive event taking place in Paris and designed to educate and train students intending to secure summer and off cycle internships and providing them with authentic exposure to top employers while demystifying the industry landscape and application process.
• Student outreach: The Programme Coordinator will be responsible for implementing exciting outreach campaigns, namely, to help us recruit more students from engineering schools and public universities in France
• There will be occasional trips to Paris to deliver in-person events and execute our student outreach strategy

Accountabilities

There are three main activities within the France team:

• Outreach (student recruitment),
• Programme Delivery (education and training events for students),
• Business development (attracting new sponsors)

The Programme Coordinator will serve as the administrative officer for the team. You will support the France team as needed and have specific responsibilities for identifying and onboarding students at business schools, engineering schools and universities across France, both online (social media, email marketing, webinars) and offline (in-person campus events and sponsored events). You will also play a key role in executing our social media strategy and managing our presence on platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and WhatsApp.
Responsibilities include:

• Overall administration of student events, ensuring exceptional communication and coordination.
• Event management, student and partner communication, and coordination of all relevant stakeholders.
• Posting job opportunities on our student portal and creating content for our newsletter.
• Managing student queries and maintaining relationships.
• Coordinating outreach programmes and managing our Student Ambassador network.
• Identifying and onboarding students, managing relationships with academic institutions and partners.
• Maintaining working documents, event calendars, and reports.
• Thinking creatively to improve outreach programmes and manage social media platforms.

Quality Assurance

• Ensuring all information and student data is managed within GDPR guidelines and updated in Salesforce.
• Running reports to track and monitor events from the CRM.

Required qualifications

• University degree (any discipline)

Candidates without the required qualification will be considered if they have at least 1 year of relevant and relatable work experience in a similar role.

The Coordinator will engage with internal and external stakeholders, promoting the benefits of membership and supporting the overall objectives of the Institute.

The Senior Membership Coordinator will oversee and coordinate membership services, ensuring a high level of member satisfaction and engagement. This role requires strong organisational and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You will be responsible for streamlining membership processes, optimising workflows, and supporting the overall goals of the Institute.
