Hope and Homes for Children is looking for a Funding Coordination Officer (this is the job title used internally for this role), who'll play a key supportive role in the Grants Partnerships team and Marketing, Communications and Fundraising (MCF) department, contributing directly to the Grants team income target as well as supporting fundraisers across the department to access compelling information in support of their fundraising.
You will help to drive key cross departmental initiatives including the coordination of restricted funding for our country programmes and the development of proposals and reports for our key projects and thematic work.
You will also manage our small and medium trusts and foundations portfolio (including stewardship, reporting, and proactively approaching new prospects), and occasionally support Grants team colleagues with reports, proposals and stewardship of our high value relationships.

Purpose of job: To work as a key part of the Philanthropy and Partnerships Team, line managed by the Senior Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager, and accountable to the Museum’s Director. Key objectives in first 6 months:

Key Responsibilities:
Supporter Identification, Communication and Cultivation
- Identify, research and develop a pipeline of trusts and foundations prospects, ensuring that relationships are well managed and planned for first, second and third requests for funding, as appropriate.
- Identify, research and approach corporate partnership prospects to support agreed priorities such as exhibitions and programmes
- Work closely with colleagues in Events, Commercial and Communications to promote corporate sponsorship packages, including working on communications and campaigns that encourage uptake and renewal

The Philanthropy & Partnerships team
In Autumn 2023, Foundling Museum delivered a successful, ambitious capital campaign to secure the future of the Museum through a variety of supporters, from individuals, major supporters and trusts/foundations.
The Philanthropy team is responsible for the funding revenue needs of the Museum, which for 2024-25 is c£800,000, making up approximately 36% of total income.
The post of Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager will deliver against personal targets toward this goal. Remaining income includes Arts Council England National Portfolio funding, NLHF funding, core earned income (admissions) and trading activities (retail and venue hire).
The Philanthropy and Partnerships team collaborates closely with the Director, Chair of Trustees and Development Consultants and across all departments to understand and translate fundable and core activities into compelling cases for support. Across a year the team raises vital income for exhibitions, learning and participation activities, events, capital projects, an established endowment fund and unrestricted revenue income.

Senior Development Officer (Fundraising)
JOB DESCRIPTION
Role:The Senior Development Officer plays an integral role within the Development Team at Forces Employment Charity (FEC). We are working with an incredible homelessness charity to recruit this key role to cover maternity leave. You will provide direction and manage the team responsible for brand, comms, events and fundraising. You will also directly be responsible for Major Donor relations and income.
This position is critical in the charitys growth and delivery of strategic goals through brand development, stakeholder engagement and delivery of some key streams of fundraised income.
This is a hybrid role with two days a week in the London office. Fully remote might be considered for the right candidate.

The Role
Develop the brand on an ongoing basis, in collaboration with the Chief Executive and senior leaders
Ensure the charitys visual identity and organisational narrative are upheld through all communications and PR
Support the Heads of Fundraising and Communications to devise a communications strategy aimed at engaging new and existing audiences
Identify stories and opportunities to increase brand awareness
Keep up to date with best practice in fundraising, identifying and sharing trends, developments
Manage the work of direct reports, agreeing and setting objectives, targets and deadlines
Directly take responsibility for supporting and communicating with major donor / high net worth supporters
The Candidate
Experience of planning and delivering fundraised income growth
Brand management experience
Experience producing communications and/or fundraising plans in the charity sector
Understanding of supporter management and journeys
Experience of managing and developing high-performing team
Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships at all levels and with key stakeholders
Agility to move across various functions and areas of responsibility

About The Role
As Corporate Partnerships Manager you will be taking the lead on managing a strategic, multi-faceted three-year partnership with a leading business in the financial sector.

You will manage relationships with stakeholders across all levels and be comfortable influencing at a senior level.
You will be project management lead on a number of employee fundraising and volunteering activities, and you will be working with the wider team to ensure that the partnership is impactful.
About You
To be successful in this role you must have
* Experience of managing £500k+ partnerships (ideally in a charity setting)
* Experience of managing strategic partnerships alongside each other
* Experience of stakeholder management
* Have had Project Management experience
* Have had experience of reporting and using a CSR system
The Charity is innovative and forward thinking and are really invested in career development. This is a Hybrid role with a minimum of 1 day a week in the head office in London plus some travel to the partners head office which is within an hour of London.
