Position Requirements:

• A minimum of five years of related work experience in major gifts fundraising or in the field of marketing and communications, preferably at a non-profit advocacy organisation.
• A proven track record of bringing in major donations of six-figure sums.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM preferred.
• A practical understanding of fundraising, GDPR and charity regulation.
• Knowledge of and proven ability to develop and implement fundraising strategies.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

The Role

You will be instrumental in securing the funding, which the organisation needs to continue to deliver and develop its services, across a wide range of functions and projects. You will be an entrepreneurial, knowledgeable fundraiser, adept at finding the right opportunities to fit the right projects. You will also be meticulous and organised in your approach to stewardship, maintaining contact with funders and working with colleagues to collate the information needed for reporting.

The Institutional Funding Manager will play an important role in SHA’s institutional income generation activities. Working closely with assigned country teams, the post-holder will support pipeline development, lead the development and writing of high-quality bids, donor engagement, and positioning for contract and grant opportunities. Our partner, an international charity, seeks an interim finance manager to support the international finance team. The successful candidate will be an all-rounder, with experience in preparing consolidated annual accounts, management accounts, whilst being hands on and taking on transactional elements of the role.

Responsibilities

• Day to day accounting and administration, including posting transactions; payment of suppliers and staff expenses; international bank transfers to overseas country offices; setting up and processing regular giving payments, and processing one off donations; banking; and process monthly payroll.

As Senior Philanthropy Manager within our Fundraising Team, you will focus and lead on:

• External facing relationship manager, both building new relationships and effectively stewarding existing ones 
• Support the High Value Lead to set budgets and conduct regular reforecasting

Do you have a conveyancing legal background with an interest in Tutoring students?

We have a permanent opportunity for a conveyancing legal professional to join a Law School on a permanent basis, for 2-3 days a week (across Mon - Thurs). This role is fully remote as learners are online, but there would be a requirement to attend in-person meetings in Bedford, up to 6 times per year.

Key duties:

• Manage caseload of learners: onboard, assess skills, and create development plans.

Grants Fundraising Officer (job share)

Hope and Homes for Children is looking for a Funding Coordination Officer (this is the job title used internally for this role), who'll play a key supportive role in the Grants Partnerships team and Marketing, Communications and Fundraising (MCF) department, contributing directly to the Grants team income target as well as supporting fundraisers across the department to access compelling information in support of their fundraising.
