This is a terrific opportunity to lead Muscular Dystrophy UK’s public affairs strategy, driving meaningful change for people living with muscle wasting conditions across the UK. You will be responsible for shaping and delivering our political engagement work, ensuring our voice is heard by all four governments.
In parallel, you will lead our social inclusion policy agenda, initially focusing on improving financial security for people with muscle wasting conditions, with scope to expand into broader inclusion-related policy areas over time.
You’ll build strong relationships with politicians, civil servants, voluntary sector organisations, and other key stakeholders to grow our influence and impact.
Working collaboratively across departments – including Policy and Campaigns, Research, Services and Support, Communications, Fundraising, and our devolved nations leads - you’ll help deliver key strategic objectives. Reporting to the Director of Policy and Campaigns, and line managing the Policy and Public Affairs Officer, you’ll play a vital role in driving change and improving lives.

About You

This is a full-time post, but we are happy to consider a part-time contract (min 0.8 FTE). This is a fixed-term maternity cover post expected to start in January 2026 and end on 31 December 2026. We are very happy to consider secondment opportunities from other organisations.
We value spending time working in-person to develop strong connections with each other and with our mission, so you will be based at our central London office for a minimum of three days a week if you are full-time (Monday, Tuesday, and either Wednesday or Thursday) with the option to work remotely for the remainder. If you are part-time, you will be office-based for at least 50% of your time.

Your purpose
To manage and optimise Voice 21’s marketing activity across campaigns, data, and digital channels, ensuring a seamless experience from first engagement through to conversion. The Marketing Lead will be the technical lead on our HubSpot CRM, drive inbound activity, strengthen the buyer’s journey, and ensure our brand and messaging support long-term impact.
Your responsibilities

Manage and optimise marketing campaigns, data, and workflows in HubSpot

Build and maintain landing pages and web content aligned with campaign goals

Partner with Sales to develop and execute data-informed marketing plans targeting schools across England

Imagine This is the only UK charity solely dedicated to supporting the mental wellbeing of seriously ill children and their families. - Create engaging fundraising campaigns that increase profile, secure new support and increase income.
- Proactively identify opportunities for retaining, growing or diversifying income from existing supporters.
- Actively network to raise the profile of the charity and identify opportunities for new support.
- Recruit, support and coordinate volunteers to support for fundraising and engagement activity.
Data/administration
- Ensure prompt and effective supporter communications, particularly when thanking donations.
- Maintain accurate, compliant data in our CRM (Donorfy), growing the database and improving data quality.
- Use data insight to prepare reports and analyse performance to identify trends and opportunities.
- Monitor/evaluate income and KPIs making recommendations for remedial action or growth opportunities.
- Prepare Quarterly reports for the Board, and upon request.

The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Financial Accountant to support the financial accounting and compliance functions of the College.
This is an important role within the Finance team, supporting the College’s mission to improve child health by ensuring the integrity of financial information, robust financial controls, and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Working closely with the Financial Accountant and wider finance team, you will take responsibility for key accounting processes including payroll, tax, treasury management, and monthly financial reconciliations. You will play a vital role in maintaining accurate and timely financial records, supporting audit preparation, and ensuring that all financial operations run smoothly.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining the integrity of financial systems and ensuring accurate, timely accounting entries and reconciliations
- Supporting the Financial Accountant in preparing key balance sheet reconciliations, including fixed assets, investments, accruals, prepayments and deferred income
- Assisting with internal and external audit processes and the preparation of group statutory accounts
- Processing monthly payroll and pension submissions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Supporting VAT, corporation tax and Gift Aid returns, and ensuring all submissions are completed on time
- Managing banking and treasury activities, including cash flow monitoring and reconciliation of company credit cards
- Providing administrative support for finance systems, including user access and coding updates
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives, including system developments and process efficiency projects
Essential skills and experience:
- Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CCAB or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in financial accounting or operations roles, ideally within the charity, not-for-profit or public sector
- Experience supporting statutory accounting, audit preparation, payroll, pensions and VAT returns
- Strong understanding of financial controls and reconciliation processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Desirable:
- Knowledge of charity accounting and regulatory requirements, including SORP
- Experience using Business Central or similar ERP/financial systems

We're looking for an Individual Giving Manager who will lead the charity’s individual giving programme during an exciting period of growth. You will deliver key activities aimed at building our profile, donor base and unrestricted income in line with our strategic objectives. This will be achieved through the delivery and strategic development of warm and cold cash acquisition, a face-to-face regular giving programme, effective retention strategies and initiatives that will build our contactable base of supporters. Job Purpose:
We are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to provide professional, accurate, and timely financial management and reporting for Repowering London. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will play a key role in supporting our sustainable growth by ensuring sound financial control, analysis and statutory compliance. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you will enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of our Finance function, contributing to the organisation’s overall operational excellence.
The role will include providing technical and practical support for Repowering and the family of Community Benefit societies which we service and in the future the growth of additional members.
To succeed in this new role, you will need to be a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional with strong analytical skills, excellent stakeholder management, and a genuine commitment to Repowering London’s mission and values.
Key Responsibilities:
· Management & Statutory Reporting: Prepare monthly management accounts, reconcile balance sheet accounts, complete statutory returns (VAT, Companies House, FCA), and support annual audits.
· Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist with annual budgets, reforecasts, cashflow statements, and ad hoc financial projections.
· Business Partnering: Provide financial insights to the management team and project leads, supporting effective decision-making and project financial reporting.
· Supervision: Manage and support the Finance Officer, ensuring professional development and alignment of tasks with departmental goals.
· Systems & Processes: Maintain and improve finance systems and digital tools for accuracy, efficiency, and timely reporting.
· Finance Operations: Oversee sales and purchase ledgers, payroll, and ad hoc financial reporting for senior leadership.
· Audit & Compliance: Prepare reconciliations for external audits and ensure compliance with HMRC, FCA, and other regulations.

About You

- Qualified or part-qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
- A minimum of 5 years experience of management accounts preparation, including reconciliation and reporting.
- Experience of working with accounting software ( QuickBooks & Xero).

- Ability to manage multiple priorities calmly and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled in budget management and resource optimisation.

About the opportunity
As Head of Impact & Quality, you’ll lead the department that covers impact measurement, evaluation of our programmes, data management, curriculum development, training and quality of tutors and other initiatives that drive the evidence-based culture of Action Tutoring. Overall purpose
The Employer Engagement Manager (EEM) will play a critical role in ensuring refugees supported by Breaking Barriers access meaningful, opportunities that align with client needs and labour market demand. The postholder will lead employer outreach and partnership building in priority sectors and embed consistent systems and processes that make employer engagement coordinated and impactful across the organisation. The EEM will support pathways, work placements, recruitment pipelines and workshops by ensuring employer input is actively embedded where relevant.
This is a strategic, hands-on role, the successful candidate will map and cultivate employer relationships, secure employer input into sector pathways, workshops and recruitment initiatives, translate labour market intelligence into programme improvements, and design the operational processes that enable Programmes and Corporate Partnerships to work together effectively. You will operate in a matrix environment, collaborating closely with the Programmes, Corporate Partnerships and Client Services teams but will not hold direct line-management of delivery staff.
The role is set up to be ambitious but achievable within 12 months. The priority is to build tested, repeatable employer engagement practice (relationships, processes, insight-sharing and measurable impact) that can form the foundations of a permanent employer engagement function if/when funding allows.
