The role

Effective financial management is central to our strategy and operating model. The Finance Manager will be crucial in determining how we manage our finances, resources and operations whilst embedding a culture of financial efficiency and effective controls.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Interim Finance Manager will lead on financial matters and be expected to provide critical financial information, insightful analysis and timely reporting to facilitate the growth of the Charity.

The role is standalone but working within a closeknit team. It with therefore have a degree of autonomy but will be expected to contribute to the wider development of the Charity. This is a pivotal appointment within the Charity and will provide some broad exposure to the Board and Investment Committee.

We are therefore seeking a dynamic qualified accountant who has had wide exposure to financial reporting and processes, preferably within a fundraising Charity. Being a financial ‘all rounder’, there is a real opportunity to contribute to the way the Charity operates by instilling sound financial operations and providing meaningful financial reporting. The role provides an opportunity to lead the finance function and will suit a progressive accountant looking for this kind of responsibility.

We would therefore be looking for an individual that has demonstrable experience in operating financial functions and has the personality to fit within a charity that works collaboratively. 

The role covers a 3 to 4 month period commencing from late September. Early applications are encouraged so we can interview as soon as possible.

Job purpose:
Alongside the Head of Finance, the Management Accountant will provide business partnering by build relationships with SMT, managers and their teams, providing them with financial insights, reporting and analysis that enable them to make informed decisions. The post holder will champion and drive automation, enabling the effective and efficient running of the finance function.

The post holder will be a part-qualified/newly qualified accounting professional with experience of working in a not-for-profit setting. The role involves use of our accounting system IRIS Financials (formally PS Financials), ensuring the accurate and timely reporting of financial information; compliance with both internal financial procedures and external regulations; and recording and monitoring of financial data.

This role is based at our head office in 21 Portland Place, London. We offer a hybrid working arrangement with a minimum of 2 days in the office per week.

Key responsibilities:

Financial management and reporting

• Prepare monthly management accounts and cash flows for the Head of Finance to review.
• Prepare year-end schedules and other supporting documents for submission to external auditors as set out in annual audit plan and support the Head of Finance with responding to auditor queries.
• Maintain the Association’s accounting systems including updating the chart of accounts, period maintenance and user access.
• Support the Head of Finance with maintaining bank mandates for the Association and Foundation.
• Prepare monthly payroll journal and pension upload for the Head of Finance to approve.
• Prepare quarterly VAT return for approval by the Head of Finance and reconciliation of VAT control accounts within IRIS Financials.
• Reconcile statements received investment managers and record investment income and gains/losses into IRIS Financials accounts.
• Ensure assets are created and disposed within IRIS Financials fixed asset register and depreciated in accordance with the Association’s capitalisation and accounting policies.
   

Operational management

• Provide high quality and effective financial reporting, support and assistance to the Head of Finance and other senior managers in relation to budgets, forecasts and any financial modelling as required.
• Under the guidance of the Head of Finance, monitor and review financial systems and procedures and recommend, devise and implement more effective and efficient procedures.
• Maintain and improve your own competencies through continuous professional development.
• Abide by organisational policies, codes of conduct and practice as described in the Staff Handbook.
• Support and promote the Association’s commitment to diversity and equality of opportunity in the workplace.

• Part-qualified / newly qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain financial information to non-finance managers.
• Excellent working knowledge and understanding of computerised accounting systems. Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Experienced in the use of membership databases and reconciling financial data held within database to accounting system.

About the role

You will be at the forefront of establishing a centrally-located PMO to embed project excellence in a mission-driven environment, operating both strategically and hands on across the King’s Fund. If so, we are delighted to announce that we are recruting for a Senior Operations Manager role. MannionDaniels seeks a bi-lingual (French/ English) Senior Operations Manager to support the delivery of Gavi’s new fund to strengthen engagement with CSOs and local partners across 14 countries through up to 60 grants.

MannionDaniels have been contracted by Gavi to deliver this new funding mechanism which aims to:

i. Increase vaccination coverage and reduce zero dose and under-immunised children.

ii. Set up grant/contract schemes with CSOs and local partners that are results-focused, cost-effective and provide value for money.

iii. Strengthen the capacity of CSOs and local partners to implement contracts/grants effectively and efficiently.

iv. Contribute to a conducive partnership, a joint vision and clarified collaboration modalities between governments, and civil society and local partners,

v. Help roll out HPV vaccination; and

vi. Robustly evaluate the contracts/grant with CSOs and local partners to capture learning and ensure course correction as required.

The Senior Operations Manager supports the implementation of effective and efficient activities to deliver the Gavi project in accordance with international standards, best practice and donor expectations. The role reports to the Deputy Team Lead- Gavi and is responsible for consistent implementation of systems and procedures. The Senior Operations Manager will be expected to support our culture of continuous improvement.

A strong operational background in international development, including extensive field experience, and excellent project management skills are essential for the role. The Senior Operations Manager will manage a medium sized team and occasional overseas travel may be required.

​Greenhouse Sports is on a mission to change the lives of young people in poverty through the power of sport and mentoring. Too many young people are being left behind. It is not because they lack potential, but because poverty stacks the odds again them. This affects their education, mental health, and their future.

​In 2025 we launched our new strategy ‘For Every Future’ which outlined the charity’s bold mission and our ambitious plans to achieve this. ​The Role

​Corporate partnerships provide a vital source of income at Greenhouse Sports. The priority for the Corporate Partnerships Team is to further grow income, with an ambitious target of £1.1 million in 2025/26 - a 30% increase on the previous year.

​The Corporate Development Manager will play a critical role in realising this new income, whilst diversifying the pipeline and strengthening existing relationships through superior cultivation and stewardship.

The Person

​The Corporate Development Manager will play a vital role in the continued growth and development of corporate income, with the majority of their time dedicated to sourcing new business.

​The key responsibilities of the role include:​

• Identifying and qualifying new partnership leads that demonstrate clear value alignment with Greenhouse Sports, building a substantial pipeline that you will own and drive forward.
• Planning, developing and delivering cultivation journeys for strong leads to secure five- and six- figure corporate partnerships.
• Leading on meetings with new business prospects.
• Designing and creating partnership proposals, presentations and/ or pitches for potential new partners.
• Leading on the renewal of existing five- and six- figure partnerships, developing clear stewardship plans that strengthen relationships and maximise opportunities for growth.
• Working collaboratively with internal teams across the organisation.
• Excelling at use of our CRM (Beacon) and ensuring it’s kept up-to-date.

Fulham Palace is a truly remarkable place. For centuries, this Grade I Listed building situated in extensive grounds by the Thames was the country residence of the Bishops of London. The Palace is now managed by Fulham Palace Trust, which is inspired by a vision to restore our nationally significant historic buildings and grounds to their original beauty and to provide outstanding facilities for the local community and visitors from farther afield. 

The IT systems and infrastructure transition lead will lead on the implementation of the key strands of the recently completed strategic review of IT services at Fulham Palace. The strategy and its outputs are part funded by external grant making organisations.

We are looking for a candidate who is qualified by experience or who has a degree in an IT related field. You should have a strong IT project delivery background with a proven track record of successful technology integration and transformation projects. You should be resilient, solution focussed and highly organized to enable delivery and testing within a 6-month period.

Reporting to the estates and facilities manager (EFM), you will be responsible for developing and executing plans, collaborating with all departments, training staff and volunteers and ensuring the adherence to all the new policies and standards developed.
