About This Role

As the Corporate Partnerships Executive, you will play a key role in managing and developing Smart Works’ relationships with corporate supporters. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Partnerships, you will work collaboratively with colleagues across the Partnerships and Fundraising team to deliver an ambitious income target and provide outstanding experiences for our partners.

You will manage your own portfolio of corporate partners, ensuring each relationship delivers value, impact, and long-term engagement. Working alongside the wider team, you’ll also support the delivery of larger, strategic partnerships and take the lead on coordinating corporate volunteering initiatives — liaising with partners and internal teams to create meaningful and well-organised experiences.

In addition to managing existing relationships, you’ll play an active part in growing our corporate partnerships portfolio. This will include supporting new business development activity, researching opportunities within priority sectors, and managing inbound partnership queries and donations. You’ll also collaborate with the Philanthropy Lead to help deliver cultivation events that strengthen our network of high-value supporters.

Overall purpose

The Employer Engagement Manager (EEM) will play a critical role in ensuring refugees supported by Breaking Barriers access meaningful, opportunities that align with client needs and labour market demand. The postholder will lead employer outreach and partnership building in priority sectors and embed consistent systems and processes that make employer engagement coordinated and impactful across the organisation. The EEM will support pathways, work placements, recruitment pipelines and workshops by ensuring employer input is actively embedded where relevant.

This is a strategic, hands-on role, the successful candidate will map and cultivate employer relationships, secure employer input into sector pathways, workshops and recruitment initiatives, translate labour market intelligence into programme improvements, and design the operational processes that enable Programmes and Corporate Partnerships to work together effectively. You will operate in a matrix environment, collaborating closely with the Programmes, Corporate Partnerships and Client Services teams but will not hold direct line-management of delivery staff.

The role is set up to be ambitious but achievable within 12 months. The priority is to build tested, repeatable employer engagement practice (relationships, processes, insight-sharing and measurable impact) that can form the foundations of a permanent employer engagement function if/when funding allows.

As part of the Mass Participation team, this is an exciting opportunity where we will look for you to develop the overall strategy for our DIY challenge events programmes. About you

We are looking for a proactive and visible finance professional who is able to engage and build relationships across the organisation as a pivotal member within a values-led high performing organisation. You will be a qualified accountant with proven track record of financial management awareness and a solid understanding of charity audits and statutory accounts preparation. About the role

The role will involve the management of the day-to-day financial activities, VAT, gift aid, payroll and the monthly, quarterly and annual reconciliations and statutory accounts preparation. The job holder will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer, Finance Officer and volunteers within the team. There will be a requirement to work closely with the income generating staff, budget holders, auditors, banks and credit card providers on a regular basis. The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the Finance Officer and Finance volunteer.

The interim Treasury Manager will build relationships with banks and will identify ways to improve in-country banking and repatriation of cash, including liquidity, cash forecasting, and debt management.

Main Duties:

• Manage the banking platforms and processes including the European zero balancing cash pool
• Optimise cash-flow and improve cash flow forecasting across the business, optimising investment income and work in partnership with Shared Services, and Country Finance teams

The British Dyslexia Association is a leading charity representing the voice of people living with dyslexia, and we’re on a mission to build a society where everyone with dyslexia can thrive. We’re looking for a strategic, commercially-minded leader to take our services to the next level.

As part of our Senior Management Team, you’ll play a key role in shaping the charity’s future, driving income generation, and ensuring our services are inclusive, evidence-informed, and aligned with our vision. Location

Hybrid – this role is primarily home-based (UK), with regular travel required to work from our office in Bracknell (Berkshire) once a month, and to a location in London at least once a week, or as needed. 

What you'll be doing

Service management

• Provide strategic oversight of the design, delivery, and evaluation of CPD programmes, tutoring, and assessment services, ensuring they meet the needs of members, partners, and the wider sector
• Ensure all services are inclusive, evidence-informed, and of consistently high quality, embedding best practice in accessibility and pedagogy.
• Lead performance monitoring and evaluation, ensuring services achieve agreed financial objectives, demonstrate measurable impact, and deliver value for money.
• Contribute to effective marketing and communications strategies to raise visibility, grow participation, and strengthen the organisation’s reputation as a leader in training and assessment.
• Drive income generation and sales of CPD, tutoring, and assessment services, identifying opportunities to expand reach, build partnerships, and secure new markets.
• Stay ahead of sector standards, policy developments, and accreditation requirements, ensuring all provision remains compliant, relevant, and aligned with the organisation’s strategic priorities.

Business development

• Identify opportunities for new services, partnerships, and innovations.
• Support cross-departmental strategic development, working collaboratively with teams to identify opportunities for growth and enhancement of service provision.
• Drive growth of paid-for programmes to support the charity’s sustainability.
• Conduct market analysis to understand the needs of schools, professionals, employers and parents.
• Develop pricing models and service packages that balance affordability with viability.
• Explore new commercial opportunities aligned with the charity’s mission.
• Build strong relationships with schools, professionals, partners, and funders.

Management and leadership

• Provide clear leadership and direction for your team, ensuring alignment with the organisation's mission, values, and strategic objectives.
• Effectively manage, support and challenge direct reports, fostering a positive and high-performing team culture, and assist other line managers in their team to do the same.
• Promote a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

What we're looking for

Essential

• Proven experience leading education, training, or professional services in a charity, education, or not-for-profit setting.
• Experience developing and growing income-generating programmes or services.
• Understanding of CPD, tutoring, and/or assessment markets.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a high-performing team, promoting a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance mission and income.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with experience engaging internal and external stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker who can turn vision into practical, deliverable plans.
•  Ability to identify market needs and translate them into viable learning offerings.

 Desirable

• Knowledge or experience of dyslexia, neurodiversity, or special educational needs.
• Experience with digital learning or assessment products.
• Experience working with schools, universities, employers or professional bodies.
• Relevant teaching or professional qualification.

In this exciting role you will work within the small Communciations & Fundraising Team to maximise income generation from individual givers through your ability to manage outstanding supporter care, accurate database management and targeted marketing via email, post, and social media.

You will hold key responsibility for ensuring the accuracy of all our fundraising and marketing data and be responsible for ensuring the correct targeting of all marketing approaches. You will work closely with, and in support of all other members of the Fundraising and Communications teams. If you have experience of managing volunteers, all the better.

You will conduct and present excellent analysis on all marketing activity with clear recommendations for improvements to fundraising communications alongside donor/donation and database management.

Using your CRM and database knowledge, you can play a key role in the management of donor management but also the wider data support for the charity. it is an exciting time at Doctors of the World, with a diverse portfolio of projects supporting those who are excluded from health in the UK.
