What you'll do:
- Lead and motivate your team to ensure the championing of and maintenance of a positive local culture within your service
- Deliver effective supervision and team meetings with staff and ensure that information, reporting and communication
- Responsible for the personal development of staff, identifying high performers and feeding into the organisations succession plans
- Ensure that Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) required as part of the Contract are met and recorded correctly
- Develop key business relationships with all appropriate relevant customers/external parties to ensure service delivery excellence and maximise new business opportunities in own patch

Human Resources Adviser

Reports to: Head of Operations.

Responsible for: No direct reports at this time.

Location: Office at Bayfield near Holt with opportunity for flexible working. However, it is important that the role holder is able to build culture and employee experience and be demonstrably participative in office life and organisational culture development. Visits across Norfolk and surrounding catchments with mileage expenses £0.45 per mile.

Job term: This is a permanent 0.6 FTE position. The appointment is subject to a six-month probationary period.

Hours of work: 22.5 hours over a minimum of three days between Monday and Friday. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required, for which time off in lieu can be taken. No overtime will be paid.

Annual leave entitlement: 25 days (pro rata) plus public holidays.

Job description:

As Norfolk Rivers Trust’s first dedicated HR professional, the HR Adviser will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing effective people practices that align with the organisation’s culture, values, and strategic objectives. Collaborating closely with the Senior Management Team and Line Managers, the HR Adviser will offer expert guidance and operational support across the entire employee lifecycle.

This standalone, hands-on position requires a proactive self-starter who is confident in establishing new processes and adaptable to the needs of a small but growing organisation. An exciting opportunity has arisen within the ARB HR Team for an HR Officer who will act as a Business Partner to the organisation. You will be responsible for providing high quality advice and support in a variety of challenging and complex scenarios, supporting projects and delivering day-to-day operational HR activities.

This role is based in our London offices in Farringdon; ARB supports a flexible approach to hybrid working.

Responsibilities:  

• Reviewing current suite of HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are up to date, are compliant in relation to latest legislative and employment law requirements and are operationally fit for purpose 

• Identifying where new policies need to be developed 

• Developing a new and improved Employee Handbook 

• Developing manager training materials based on new policies and procedures 

• Working with the HR management team to pick up business partner activities that will include sickness absence management, performance management and resource planning 

• Part of the role will also be to provide operational guidance to managers when dealing with HR and employee relations issues 

• Building strong working relationships at all levels 

• Guiding and supporting the HR Administrator with HR activities as required 

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise 

You will have previous HR experience with CIPD level 3 at a minimum, working in a HR Business Partner dynamic, with exposure to HR and payroll systems as well a policy development. You must be confident advising on policies, procedures and ER matters with stakeholders; you’ll be organised, able to prioritise your own workload and be proactive. The right candidate should have strong communication skills and be able to develop a trusted relationship with various stakeholders and have a team orientated attitude.

About the Role

The Marketing and Sales Lead will be the driving force behind our marketing and sales programmes for schools, bringing their creative flair, marketing expertise and sales understanding to help Learning with Parents engage more schools across the UK.

We see there being three strands of marketing to this role: awareness raising marketing to both cold and warm contacts that drives attendance to events such as webinars and our parental engagement forum, sales marketing to new schools that drives sales of our programmes and marketing that supports the schools team to develop deeper school partnerships and grows the impact of our programmes in schools.

Alongside this marketing we also would like this role to shepherd our schools through the sales pipeline ready for onboarding.

Areas of Responsibility

School marketing strategy support

• Review, evolve and implement our marketing to schools approach, with the support of our Programme Director, taking it beyond email to other channels

• Analyse and report on our marketing performance to the Programme Director, making clear and actionable recommendations for improvements 

• In collaboration with our Communications Officer, ensure our brand guidelines are used effectively and kept up to date for all staff to use as required. 

Awarenss Raising Marketing

• Help us reach new schools by designing eye-catching marketing assets that communicate the benefits of Learning with Parents and match audience needs

• Collaborate with our Communications Officer to create values-led content for our website and social platforms that will engage and inspire school leaders and teachers

• Create marketing to new and current schools that drive attendance to events such as webinars and the parental engagement forum

Sales Marketing 

• Review and evolve our email marketing to schools in our sales pipeline and new school to support sales with action-orientated marketing messages and materials 

• Support the cross-sell of programmes to existing schools by optimising marketing messages and timing 

• Create engaging newsletter content that communicates our brand personality, support schools with parental engagement and builds school loyalty

Sales Pipeline Management

• When needed, deliver sales to demos to prospective schools

• Manage the follow up emails to teachers and school leaders after sales demos to move them through the pipeline.

• Log emails and correspondence with prospective schools.

• Send reminders to schools on their next actions

• Track and analyse data on school sales and report to Programme Director

About You 

A successful Marketing and Sales Lead will be eager to work in a small team, have a can-do attitude, and be keen to get stuck in to support the charity’s growth and impact. 

Our ideal candidate would also be able to provide examples of when they have used the following skills and experience: 

• Previous success in marketing to educational institutions such as schools / colleges etc

• Creative storyteller with a passion for creating content

• Excellent copywriting skills 

• Exceptional abilities on Canva or similar

• Confident use of a CRM system, such as HubSpot, to manage sale leads 

• Strong organisational and planning skills

• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with teams

• Working to Key Performance Indicators linked to both the performance of marketing and sales numbers

Bristol Cathedral is looking for an experienced leader and manager to be our next Director of Visitor Experience and Commercial Income.  Since the end of the pandemic the cathedral has brought forward a diverse programme of events and visitor experience activities to attract a wider audience.  We have also implemented an entry by donation system that has more than doubled income from visitors.  As with most other cathedrals, the quality of the welcome and the programme of events is more important than ever as we look to increase income to keep pace with the ever-increasing costs of operating the building.  Bristol Cathedral is many things to many people – a worshipping community, a place of quiet contemplation, a venue for a major concert, a heritage asset and a civic space.  Most importantly from the Cathedral’s perspective is that it is a place that belongs to the city and wider diocese and is open to everybody.  As Director of Visitor Experience and Commercial Income, the successful candidate will be part of the Cathedral Senior Executive Team and will be responsible for ensuring a world class welcome for all those that come to the Cathedral, and for sustaining and growing our commercial income from a range of sources including events, venue hire, filming and our shop & café.

We are looking for a Senior Direct Marketing Officer to manage a team to deliver a multi-million pound lottery & lead generation programme.

This is a London based role with a 50% hybrid working model.

The Role
Manage and motivate a team of three to deliver the programme effectively and professionally.

Manage a portfolio of multi channel campigns including direct dialogue and direct marketing projects to acquire and develop supporters who give via a regular gift.

Lead the development and growth of the Lottey product, along with its integration with raffles.

Drive the creative and functional development of the lead generation programme to maximise the conversion of leads to a regular gift.

The Candidate
Proven ability to plan, implement and evaluate direct marketing campaigns with substantial understanding of direct marketing acquisition and retention across a range of media channels, including direct dialogue, telemarketing, DRTV, digital and/or direct mail.

Previous line management experience, the abilty to motivate and lead a small team.

Proven ability to analyse results of campaigns.

Ability to build rapport and present to a range of audiences and work with both internal teams and external suppliers. negotiating costs, managing relationships and ensuring positive outcomes.

About the role:

As a Team Leader you will be:

• Ensuring the effective delivery of services to victims in accordance with the London Adult Service against contract specifications, operating procedures, confidentiality, information sharing and safeguarding policies.
• Leading the caseworker team, ensuring victims receive timely, professional needs and risks assessment and referral to appropriate support, assuring the quality of service provision.
• Working collaboratively with the Operations Manager/Management team, in order to achieve the implementation of business plan and the development of the service to maximise positive outcomes for clients.
• Focusing on performance management of their reports including auditing cases, allocation of cases and input into performance reporting.
