As a Specialist Housing Partner you’ll provide a high quality, efficient, effective housing and support service to customers that live in their Specialist Housing Schemes including Independent Living Schemes, enabling them to feel safe and supported to live well and independently for as long as possible. With a focus on building management, tenancy management and keeping tenants safe in their homes, you’ll provide comprehensive support including support planning at critical points and ensure any issues are resolved in the first instance whilst maintaining professional boundaries.

- Previous experience of delivering a quality housing management service within a specialist or generic housing context.
- Ability to work under pressure and thriving on challenges to achieve positive outcomes for customers while maintaining accuracy and high performance.

Key Responsibilities
Spear Programme
- Lead group sessions of up to 10 young people, using coaching skills to transform their mindsets, and to maximise their potential in stepping into the world of work
- Prepare and deliver coaching sessions on a weekly basis and find creative ways of developing ongoing relationships with Spear Trainees. This includes running application workshops with past Trainees as well as maintaining records and reporting on statistics.
Relationship management
- Build and manage relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including referrers, local businesses, and other organisations
- You will support with job fairs, mock interview days and welcoming external visitors to the centre
Church Community
- The Spear Coach is directly employed by Alive Church, meaning you are part of a vibrant church staff team and submerged in an exciting faith community
- Help to raise the profile of the Spear programme within Alive Church and build a network of supporters and volunteers from the congregation

An opportunity has arisen to join Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice as our new Director of Income Generation. Reporting to the Chief Executive you will lead a dynamic and committed team to achieve ambitious income generation targets. You will sustain and further develop a balanced, and diverse income generation portfolio, focusing on maximising income and growing enduring relationships with supporters and customers across our region.
This is an exciting time to join Phyllis Tuckwell with the successful candidate having the opportunity to plan and implement the final stage of our £6 million appeal to build a new hospice.
The successful candidate will:
- Be a member of the Senior Leadership Team, responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives to generate income and raise awareness of the Hospice mission and services.
- Provide direction, expertise, guidance, vision and leadership to all teams on income generation activities in a way that enables the teams to own the delivery of the IG strategy and plans.

There is a permanent, part time Funding Officer opportunity to come and join our North East and Cumbria Regional team. The role is for 25.5 hours per week covering the area of Cumbria.
The role of a Funding Officer is both challenging and rewarding with no two days the same. You will be expected to spend time developing your knowledge of and relationships in the communities that you are responsible for to try to understand the challenges they face and how our funding can make a real difference to help communities to thrive.
You will be responsible for assessing and presenting funding applications to our Reaching Communities programme, supporting community groups, making connections with important stakeholders e.g. CEO’s of LA’s, MP’s, Mayors and representing the fund at a wide variety of events including funding fairs and networking events.
You will often be the first point of call for potential applicants and will need to be resilient, diplomatic, supportive and assertive in equal degrees. As the outward facing representation of the fund you will need to have good people skills, good communication skills and be professional in a wide variety of different situations. You will have to assess applications and present these to the rest of the regional team at various panels. You will certainly have to be strong enough to say “no” as we always have more applications than funding available.
We are looking for people who have good knowledge and understanding of the third sector and the challenges it faces. You will need capable IT skills, the ability to learn new processes and procedures (including bespoke software). You may have to travel throughout the region and, on occasions, have to stay away overnight and work unsociable hours.
Ideally you will live in Cumbria. The use of car is desirable.

Your role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders, including suppliers and Norwood's Technology team, to ensure the smooth integration of equipment into our digital network.

Key Responsibilities:
- To visit services and complete installations, repair, maintenance, reviews and collection of Technology Enabled Care (TEC) equipment, with new and existing service users throughout Norwood’s services in North London, Redbridge and Berkshire.
- Troubleshoot problems with equipment installations and resolve these faults both remotely and in person.
- To be responsible for stock and undertake auditing of the stock and maintain current databases according to Company requirements including updating and maintaining asset registers
- Support the IT manager in providing a high level of service coordination to ensure that new projects are delivered effectively.
- To take part in training sessions and attend meetings as required.
- To manage and maintain records, including central records, stock control and budgetary records.
- Train staff in the use of all systems available and provide ongoing support to ensure effective use of the systems in place.
- To support and promote digital inclusion, independence and empowerment for people using telecare or telehealth equipment
- Produce resources to support progress for users of AT.
