Treasury and Cash Manager | 12-months | £500 - £600 per day (Inside IR35) | UK - Remote

For a large, complex international organisation which operates in more than 80 currencies with over 80 banking partners in 100+ countries, we're recruiting an Interim Cash, Risk and Treasury Manager. Reporting to the Corporate Treasurer, this role will implement all aspects of corporate treasury policy, processes, controls, analysis and investment strategies including cash management, financing and investment activities, risk management, and loss prevention. The interim Treasury Manager will build relationships with banks and will identify ways to improve in-country banking and repatriation of cash, including liquidity, cash forecasting, and debt management.

Main Duties:

• Manage the banking platforms and processes including the European zero balancing cash pool

Financial Management + Forecasting

• Support work on annual and multi-year budget forecasts, based on programming needs and organizational trajectory

• Manage organization’s cash flow to ensure financial stability across restricted and unrestricted funding

WHAT YOU’LL DO

· Project management: Plan and manage projects from start to finish, making sure deadlines are met and everyone delivers on their part.

· Meetings and follow-up: Organise and run management meetings, keep notes, and make sure agreed actions happen.

· Governance: Oversee compliance and act as Company Secretary, keeping records accurate and up to date.

· Finance: Use Xero and work with accountants/bookkeepers to oversee budgets, accounts, and financial reports so the numbers are always clear.

· Fundraising and business development: Support funding applications, proposals, and relationships with partners to bring in new opportunities.

· Operations: Keep the day-to-day running smoothly — from diary management and HR basics to coordinating contractors.

· Communications: Maintain simple but effective comms, updating the website and keeping social media active.

SKILLS & QUALITIES

· Strong organisational and project management skills

· An excellent writer, whether contracts, bids or public facing materials

· Experience of operations, governance, and finance oversight in a small organisation, ideally a social enterprise or startup

· Confidence managing budgets and financial reporting (not a finance role, but able to keep track)

Title:Corporate Fundraising Manager

Reporting To: Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager 

Location: Hybrid, working from home and our office based in West London

Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 per annum

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, inclusive of a daily 1 hour paid lunch break

Job Summary 

Working with the Senior Corporate Partnership Manager, this role supports high-value corporate partnerships through engagement, stewardship, and identifying new opportunities aligned with the charity’s goals. This newly established role in the income team reflects the growth of MHI’s partnerships and offers an exciting opportunity for an ambitious corporate fundraiser with a passion for digital mental health. MHI is at a pivotal point in its development, having experienced significant growth since launching in 2017. Over the past 18 months, a primary focus has been on cultivating several major partners to support our core services (Shout and The Mix) and the development of three new digital mental health products. We are now looking to focus on these key partners, while expanding our portfolio of new opportunities. 

Key Responsibilities

• Support with high value corporate partnerships, including the delivery of employee engagement activities and communications, fundraising events and challenges
• Manage a portfolio of corporate partnerships, delivering first class stewardship and identifying and maximising opportunities for wider engagement
• Support the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager to steward and engage partners and prospects, including thought leadership, communications, events, volunteering and fundraising activities
• Support with business development, utilising Salesforce, Pearlfinders and LinkedIn to identify and track opportunities
• Support the Senior Corporate Partnership Manager to create proposals, offers and presentations for new and existing partners
• Manage team administration, including merchandise orders
• Build excellent stakeholder relationships, keeping key contacts updated and ensuring partnership renewals
• Work with Commissioned Partnerships and Trust and Foundations colleagues to identify cross and upsell opportunities
• Work with the Public Fundraising team to promote challenge events and identify opportunities for our corporate partners
• Collaborate with internal teams - including Public Fundraising, Commissioned Partnerships, Trusts and Foundations, Data Insights, Clinical, Marketing, Volunteer, and Finance - to coordinate engagement, insights, assets, and timely communications.
• Build relationships with new potential corporate prospects for 2025 to 2028 income opportunities.
• Build relationships with counterparts of other third sector charitable organisations who MHI may work closely with for partnership opportunities.

Person Specification

Essential

• 3+ years working with corporate partners, including building at least one new large corporate partnership
• 3+ years experience of working on community fundraising projects with the charity or through a corporate partner
• Experience of being highly organised, managing multifaceted partnerships in a charity setting, covering multiple projects and teams, and including reporting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with varying audiences, including corporate partners
• A strong interest in mental health and in data and technology, and an understanding of corporate partnership opportunities for the sector

Desirable

• Experience of using Salesforce or equivalent CRM.
• Experience of both face to face and virtual stakeholder meetings with high value corporate funders
• Experience of building employee and/or community fundraising events and opportunities

Interim Director of Finance & Resources – FTC until 31 December 2026 (with possibility for extension/ permanent)

The Director of Finance & Resources role is a pivotal position at Leukaemia UK. You will be part of the Senior Management Team reporting to the Chief Executive, working closely with them and fellow Directors to drive the charity’s long-term business strategy and organisational culture. You will oversee the day to day Financial, HR, IT, and Facilities Management operations, and work closely with the CEO on charity governance.

Leukaemia UK – Our Charity

We are a ‘small but mighty’ charity with one big ambition: to stop leukaemia devastating lives. Over the next 10 years we want to help save and improve the lives of more people with leukaemia through finding and funding life-changing research, awareness and advocacy.

Despite progress in recent decades, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a blood cancer every 16 minutes and survival rates are among some of the worst of any cancer.  And the physical and psychological impact can be lifelong.

Over the next 5 years we plan to increase our investment in ground-breaking world class research and policy development focused on improving access to kinder, more effective diagnosis, treatment and care for leukaemia. To do this, we have embarked on a period of significant growth, investing strategically to grow our income, profile, influence, and engagement and impact.

The Director of Finance and Resources is key to our strategy and to leading the charity to the next level as part of the Senior Leadership Team. We are looking for an experienced Director to help us lead the transition from one strategy to the next in 2026 by leading our financial planning and reporting, together with our people first culture. The role of Director of Finance and Resources is central to almost every area of our work. You will be responsible for:

· effective financial management,

· people and organisational design and culture,

· governance and legal,

· IT and premises.

This role is an exciting opportunity to support Leukaemia UK to make a huge impact on the lives of people diagnosed with leukaemia and other blood cancers over the coming years, by working as part of a professional, highly motivated Senior Leadership Team that works hard to achieve our goals and bring our values to life in every aspect of our work.

You will be able to step into the role quickly, already being experienced in senior financial leadership alongside oversight of other support functions. Your background could be within the charity sector or other dynamic organisations,  and you will bring a real drive to be part of making something great! The role mixes strategic oversight with hands-on doing as is usual in smaller organisations, and you will be comfortable balancing these ways of working.
