Job Title: People and Culture Business Partner - Organisational Change
Location: Based in our Central office in Islington, around a 10 minute walk from Highbury and Islington station. You will also be able to work from home and will be required to make regular visits to our services. About the role
We're seeking an all rounded generalist to join our People and Culture team to support specifically in around areas of organisational change, mainly in relation to managing mobilisations, TUPE, staff consultations and growth. You will use your previous experience in these areas to manage the process of organisational change, working alongside the wider P&C team and managers across the organisation. Some key responsibilities in this role includes:
- Provide high quality support, leadership and guidance to managers and staff for change projects from start to finish.

The Business Operations and Support Project Lead will support the delivery of projects across the National Theatre to optimise cross organisational working including improving processes and efficiencies. This role is crucial in supporting key sustainability objectives within the Entertain and Inspire Strategy.
They will be responsible for the leading the delivery of strategic projects that will enhance operational efficiencies across various business operations functions, including Finance, IT, and People. This includes planning, coordinating, and overseeing projects assigned to the Business Operations and Support team.
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Demonstrable experience in a similar operational role
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Experience managing projects from conception to completion
- Strong excel skills with ability to analyse data (eg pivot tables, linking data sets and look ups) and create reports that include charts and graphs
- Proficient in Office 365 products including Forms, Booking, PowerBI and Power Automate

We’re looking for a Finance Business Partner who is passionate about the charity and welfare sector to join us and deliver high quality financial, commercial and business advisory support to our organisation.
This role will see you as a key member of the Finance team, working closely with the Senior Finance Business Partner to deliver robust financially planning and advice to our Fundraising directorate, supporting budget holders, Heads of Departments and Directors across this area.

You will manage the month end process for your business area to ensure all regular journals are posted in a timely and accurate manner. Any necessary corrections should be made, and you will support budget holders with reporting and variance analysis.

You’ll be a keen problem solver with an eye for detail, an effective communicator and have a strong focus on customer service, planning and organising.
You will have similar experience in finance and management accounting obtained in a complex organisation, and knowledge of a variety of accounting systems and financial reporting approaches. Experience working within the sector advantageous, but not essential.
As an accountancy qualification isn’t an essential requirement for this role, we would be open to funding elements of a professional accountancy qualification, pending the completion of a probationary period.
You will be contracted to our London, Haig House, Hub with a minimum expectation of two days per week working in person at the Hub (one day must be a Tuesday) and flexibility for working remotely/at home when not on site.

About the role
This role will be responsible for providing business support for the directorate to support effective leadership and streamlined ways of working across Income Generation.
The postholder will support the operation of the Income Generation Leadership Team (IGLT) and assist in various aspects of organisational administration and development. It will support IGLT to define and shape priorities and support implementation of priority initiatives. It will ensure that IGLT’s time is prioritised effectively on delivering the most critical priorities and that follow-up activities are completed.
This role will need to foster and develop credible and respected relationships with all key stakeholders including in other directorates – to ensure visibility and engagement on high priority programmes.

What will I be doing?
No two days are the same at Young Lives vs Cancer. So, summarising your ‘day to day’ isn’t easy. Here are some of the main things you’ll be doing, but you’ll find more details in the job description.
- Provide business support to IGLT including:
- Support for IGLT and Income Generation directorate meetings and follow-up
- Support for business planning, projects, reviews and evaluations
- Ensuring that all key reports for Income Gen directorate are efficiently delivered – with a particular focus at the moment on KPIs and quarterly reports for Exec, Board and internal audiences
- Implement and monitor operational programmes, ensuring learning from past programmes of work is integrated.
- Co-ordinate cross-directorate teams to ensure successful programme execution with timely delivery of initiatives and management of key dependencies.
- Continually ensure risks to programmes of work are identified, assessed and mitigated.
- Make sure robust controls are embedded and reported through regular monitoring systems.
- Facilitate communication between teams to ensure transparency and alignment on operational goals.
- Take responsibility for liaising with a wide range of stakeholders and contacts at all levels, on behalf of IGLT.

A leading London-based cancer charity is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join them for a 12-month fixed-term contract (with potential for permanent thereafter). This well-known charity plays a vital role in funding cancer research, providing support for patients across a range of programme areas as well as leading in campaigning and advocacy work.
The Finance Business Partner role will support the organisation in the provision of accurate management information to key budget-holder groups for the charity. Key duties will be as follows:
- Prepare reporting and key financial information, including forecasts and budgets, for key directorates
- Oversight of the management accounts for your programme areas
- Work closely with non-finance budget-holders to advise on in-year budgets and re-forecasts
- Develop relevant reports and templates or budget-holder training to improve budget-holder experience and financial acumen
- Working in partnership with the wider finance business partnering team to identify best practice and improved ways or working where appropriate
About You
- Qualified accountant (CCAB or equivalent)
- Non-qualified candidates with significant experience in finance business partnering may also be experience
- Applicants from all sectors are welcome, though an interest in working for the charity sector is a must.
- Experience in finance business partnering and working with non-finance stakeholders to communicate financial information
