The role
As Forward Action’s Partnerships Officer, you’ll support the Partnerships Director to build and maintain strong relationships with our partners, so we can help them achieve change on everything from climate change to refugee rights.
In this fast-paced role, you’ll manage the administration side of our partnerships, from initial contact and briefing, through proposal management, all the way to issuing contracts and drafting scopes. Role Overview:
The Head of Marketing & Sales plays a pivotal role in driving the organisation’s growth. Fundraising Public Relations Officer
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic PR and marketing professional in our London fundraising office to design and deliver creative, multi-channel, integrated fundraising and PR campaigns designed to significantly increase the Hospital’s voluntary income.
The success of this role will be dependent on engaging and building meaningful long-term relationships with both existing and new supporters through effective donor stewardship, attending events, and networking.
The successful candidate will work in conjunction with a small, dedicated team to provide fundraising, comms, and event support to our community fundraising groups.
High quality comms and media are going to be central to our plans to go public in a big way in 2024. Creating high-quality, impactful, and engaging content for multimedia platforms will be key. You’ll be able to identify stories from across the organisation, draw out information and ideas from others, and successfully turn complicated or clinical information into clear, simple, and compelling narratives.
The role requires a creative thinker with exceptional communication and leadership skills.
Main responsibilities:
Fundraising
· Develop and implement integrated fundraising, marketing and PR campaigns designed to significantly increase the Hospital’s voluntary income.
· Create and promote compelling and engaging content for web, social media, and email – ensuring that all comms have clear goals and outcomes.
· Manage the key relationships with the Guild fundraising Committee and the SOA fundraising committee including comms, marketing, and event support as well as helping to manage the key relationships with the Knights Templar sub-groups, and the County Priory Groups across the UK.
· To put in place measures for evaluating the effectiveness of all fundraising, PR and marketing activity ensuring robust data collection, analysis procedures, and making suggestions for improvements where required.
· Manage the production of key organisational publications – including, the Jerusalem Scene magazine, Annual Report, Strategic Plan, Annual Leaflet, and other promotional materials.

Since 2003, from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe, Hand in Hand helped 4.6 million women launch small businesses that can stand the test of time. Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications, the Marketing Officer will craft exciting, engaging digital and social media content that deliver results for a range of audiences. The postholder will create and edit web pages using WordPress and deliver targeted paid-for advertising campaigns in Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads. The new Marketing Officer will act as marketing lead for Hand in Hand’s corporate partners, including social content, drafting blogs, and editing pitches, working closely with the fundraising team.
To be successful, you will have marketing experience either in an in-house, or agency role, with excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills. Duties and responsibilities
• Responsibility for managing Action Tutoring’s social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok and YouTube). • Lead on blogger, influencer and community outreach (e.g. Facebook community groups, Next Door) to help raise awareness of Action Tutoring's volunteering opportunities and encourage applications.
• Manage our national digital adverts (such as Indeed, CharityJobs, Do-It). Respond to any direct enquiries sent through these and other digital platforms, including the Volunteer Facebook Group and Google business.
• Identify national digital advertising opportunities for volunteer and school marketing, and support with content for regional adverts. Work with the Marketing Manager to analyse impact and decide where our budget is best spent.
• Support the day to day management of Action Tutoring’s website, editing content with updates upon request. Support with creating high quality, engaging content for the Action Tutoring website to ensure it’s optimised.
• Create external marketing materials on request and support with ad-hoc visual design work.
• Support with the attendance at volunteering promotion events, mainly university fairs.

- Managing an associated programme of recruitment focused events and activities, both virtual and face-to-face, to raise our profile and to maximise our enquires, registrations, applications and acceptances across all of our activities.
