The Role

We’re looking for a relational, driven and values-led Fundraising Officer to lead our corporate, community, and campaign fundraising. You’ll build partnerships, run fundraising initiatives, and steward donors to help us reach more young people across the UK.

This role will focus on:

Corporate and community partnerships
Donor campaigns and individual giving
Income tracking and stewardship

You’ll work alongside our Partnerships & Engagement Officer (who leads on challenge events and volunteering) and be supported by our Operations Manager. We’re aiming for £50,000–£75,000 in Year 1 income.

About You

* At least 1 year of fundraising experience or 2+ years in income generation
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Confident working independently and managing your own time
* Comfortable using CRM systems (e.g. Beacon, Airtable, Salesforce)

Since 1989, Springhill Hospice has provided care and comfort to the community. About the role

As Corporate Fundraiser you'll lead the cultivation, stewardship and growth of business partnerships. You'll do this through developing and implementing a corporate income strategy to an agreed annual target and meeting financial targets and identified KPIs. You'll plan, execute and evaluate Hospice-led events targeted at corporate supporters, and will work closely with existing supporters to maximise the value of relationships.

Additionally, you'll identify and target new business supporters and opportunities to generate income from new relationships. Working with the Fundraising Manager, you'll be responsible for maintaining and growing corporate income with the targets for the Department.

Corporate is a well-established income stream at Springhill Hospice. There's a warm pipeline of support already there, but also the opportunity to grow and innovate from a fantastic base. The Role

We are excited to be recruiting a new Trusts and Grants Manager and are seeking to appoint an experienced and motivated individual to operationalise and deliver a refreshed trusts and grants strategy at Penny Brohn UK.

This is a key role within our High Value Fundraising Team, with responsibility for managing the full trusts and grants portfolio, from smaller awards (c. £5,000) through to significant high-value grants (typically £10,000 and above). The postholder will lead on developing a strong funder pipeline, submitting high-quality applications and reports, stewarding funders, and maximising income across the programme.

The successful candidate will initially hold sole responsibility for the trusts and grants income stream, with support from the Head of Fundraising and Communications. However, depending on income growth over the first 12–18 months, there may be an opportunity to expand the team and recruit a Trusts and Grants Officer to support delivery, which would bring a future line management element to the role.

This role would suit someone who has previously managed an income stream within a smaller charity environment, or an experienced Trusts and Grants Officer who is looking to take the next step into a management-level position.

• Have a proven track record of securing grants from trusts and foundations across a range of values.
• Be confident in writing persuasive, high-quality funding applications and reports.

Vision of adventure, a small outdoor charity based in the Lake District , is seeking an experienced fundraiser to join our team. We specialise in working with people with visual impairments facilitating outdoor adventures, social connection and access to specialist coaching. You will have an understanding of the structural nature of poverty and how policy may alleviate structural harms and substantial experience of working at progressively senior levels at the intersection of policy development, politics and strategic communications/ campaigns. 

You’ll have substantial experience of working in multidisciplinary teams using a range of insider and outsider tactics and compelling examples of developing and implementing influencing strategies that have demonstrably affected the climate of opinion around an issue and ideally, achieved concrete change.

With a proven track record of successfully building relationships with decision makers and influencing their thinking, you’ll have clear examples of writing effectively for a wide range of audiences and of commissioning, understanding and using public attitudinal insights to inform your influencing strategies and/or narrative development.

About the team

With the support of the Regional Manager – Casework and Community Engagement, this role plays a key part in establishing, coordinating, and leading a team of Community Engagement Volunteers across the South West Region of England.

The primary focus is to drive awareness, increase fundraising, and strengthen engagement in alignment with the strategic direction set by the Director of Welfare Operations.

You will work collaboratively with other regionally based Community Engagement Managers and strategic partners across the Fundraising, Marketing, and Communications directorate to help shape policies and guidance for branch activities,

The role involves regular meetings, both in-person and via Microsoft Teams, and you will benefit from a comprehensive support package including training, mentoring, and ongoing professional development.

You will be an exceptional individual to lead this exciting initiative during a critical period of change. The ideal candidate will be a driven and highly motivated professional with a strong track record in fundraising, a solid understanding of fundraising regulations, and proven experience in leading and supporting volunteers in their efforts.

You will have excellent relationship management skills and a deep understanding of volunteer engagement and development. You will be a natural communicator with demonstrated success working with volunteers; experience in volunteer recruitment, induction, and best practice would be a strong advantage.

You will be a confident and credible networker, capable of representing SSAFA to a wide range of external stakeholders, building strong partnerships and enhancing the charity’s profile across London and South East England — all while operating remotely as part of a collaborative and regionally dispersed team.

Job Title: Food Enterprise Coordinator/ Lead

Main Purpose of the Job:

• To support the development of a network of food businesses with the aim of establishing and embedding healthy and sustainable practices and values.

• Develop relationships with stakeholders within the food system to support the creation of shorter and more value based supply chains. 

• Develop initiatives, campaigns and strategies to promote good food businesses to the public.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop a network of food businesses with the aim of establishing and embedding healthy and sustainable practices and values.

• Be the food alliance’s main point of contact for Liverpool’s social, small and medium enterprises in the food sector. 

• Arrange and facilitate regular meetings to understand the challenges and priorities of the sector and how the food alliance can support them. 

• Work with existing partners to develop a Good Food Business Charter, and support other local food enterprises to become network members and adopt the principles set out in the charter. 

Develop relationships with stakeholders within the food system to support the creation of shorter and more value based supply chains. 

• Alongside key stakeholders, develop a shared definition of what ‘local food’ is, taking into account the capacity of the local supply chain and the needs of procurers.

• Work alongside local food system ‘actors’ to establish connections between procurers and the local supply chain, and identify barriers that require mitigation. 

• Support innovative ways to support local, value based supply chains taking effect. 

• Provide support for both established and newly developed local food access initiatives — including markets, food hubs, and community retail schemes — that enhance community access to healthy and sustainable food. 

Develop initiatives and campaigns to promote good food businesses to the public. 

• Explore existing activities that promote good food enterprises to the public in Liverpool, and align them to the Good Food Plan and Sustainable Food Place Silver Award application. 

• Promote Liverpool’s good food enterprises to the public through well-aligned campaigns, events, and communications.

General Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with Feeding Liverpool’s team, trustees, and external partners to achieve strategic objectives.

• Promote the ethos of the Good Food Plan in all activities.

Community Alcohol Partnerships (CAP) is looking to engage the services of a results-oriented consultant with great people skills to set up CAP projects in high harm areas.

About Us

CAP sets up and supports local partnerships that aim to reduce alcohol harm in children and young people, improve their health and well-being and enhance their communities. Our mission is to create an alcohol-free childhood for all children and young people.

Role Overview

The successful applicant will have a track record of building effective partnerships, the people and communication skills to involve and engage a wide range of local stakeholders and the leadership and project management skills to support projects through each phase of their lifecycle including baseline evaluation, action plan delivery, post intervention evaluation and maintenance/sustainment. After a short familiarisation period the successful applicant will be expected to oversee fast-track development of new CAPs in priority areas and take responsibility for all aspects of their management with minimal supervision.

A key requisite of the role will be the ability to forge effective public/private sector partnerships between statutory agencies, schools, youth charities and retailers following the CAP model and evaluation framework. The successful applicant may come from a police, public health, education, local authority or other relevant background.

Key Responsibilities

· Proactively identify opportunities for new CAPs and facilitate set up of new CAPs in priority areas.

· Ensure that all new CAP projects carry out appropriate and timely interventions and evaluate all activity in line with the CAP evaluation toolkit – including a baseline and post intervention evaluation.

· Raise the profile of CAPs in Scotland and ensure that their impact is recognised by key stakeholders.

Specific duties to include the following:

o Represent CAP at all operational meetings.

o Ensure that Retail of Alcohol Standards Group (RASG) member companies play a full delivery role in each CAP where they operate as businesses.

o Liaise as appropriate with strategic leads within local enforcement authorities and other partner organisations to initiate and complete agreed actions.

o Encourage all projects to achieve positive local media coverage including via social media and regional news/broadcast media.

o Ensure that all projects carry out as a minimum a baseline (pre-CAP) evaluation and post intervention evaluation following the CAP evaluation framework and project management survey tools.

o Produce a monthly progress report on all schemes and pipeline activity.

o Attend and participate in regular CAP update meetings on Microsoft teams (x12 pa).

o Assist with event planning and profile-raising opportunities such as MSP visits to CAP projects.

Skills, attributes and experience

• Essential to the role will be the ability to persuade key stakeholders at local and national level of the need to address underage drinking problems and to facilitate effective and dynamic local partnerships involving any/all of the following sectors: local authorities, education, child protection, social services, public health, Alcohol and Drug Partnerships, police, retailers and licensing.
• Excellent organisational and sound project management skills.
• Great people skills with the ability to build consensus and motivate partners to play a role in timely delivery of an agreed action plan.
• Act as an ambassador for CAP at meetings and events including parliamentary events.
• Excellent presentation and all-round communication skills.
• Capable administrator with the ability to keep accurate records including data collection around outputs and impact evaluation.

Remuneration: Consultancy fee of £320 per day depending on experience. Work will depend on ability to generate interest in setting up new CAPs but we anticipate as a guideline engaging a minimum of 2.5 days of consultancy per week or around 100 days per annum. All reasonable and agreed travel expenses will be paid in line with invoice arrangements.
