Job description

A small yet established housing association in London is looking for a Head of Finance for a minimum of 6 months to join their great team.

The organisation offers high-quality housing and support to the community and strive to improve the lives of the individuals in the local area.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone from a housing association background, with strong leadership skills who is confident coaching and improving teams.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant with a Housing Association background
  • Effective leadership skills with the ability to empower and improve team members
  • Delivering on year end accounts and working closely with auditors
  • Improving links between finance and operational departments

Responsibilities:

  • Production of Management and Financial accounts
  • Ability to improve Business Partnering in the organisation and communicate effectively with others
  • Lead the team and also work closely with Executive members of staff
  • Improve Service Charge processes and controls from a finance perspective
