About us
We help vulnerable young people by giving them the practical and emotional support they need to find a job and live independently. Centrepoint provides homeless young people with accommodation, health support and life skills to get them back into education, training and employment. We want to end youth homelessness by 2037.
Together with our partners, we support over 15,000 young people each year.
About the role
As Head of Data Analytics and Evaluation, you will lead the development and delivery of a comprehensive data strategy, embedding data-informed decision-making across all levels of the organisation. You’ll ensure robust systems, insightful analytics, and effective evaluation frameworks underpin our mission to end youth homelessness by 2037. Working collaboratively with Technology, Compliance, Programme Management, and other key functions, you’ll align our digital platforms and data capabilities with organisational needs—empowering colleagues with timely, actionable insights and championing ethical, innovative use of data and AI. You’ll play a pivotal role in business and digital transformation, ensuring our impact is clearly demonstrated and communicated to all stakeholders.
Hybrid Working
Centrepoint operates a hybrid working model. The requirement is a minimum of 50% of your working week. For most full-time colleagues, this means attending the office for five days over a two-week period (e.g., two days one week and three days the next). For colleagues on different contracts (including part-time or compressed contracts) this will be adjusted accordingly.
About you
- You have significant experience leading data, analytics, or evaluation teams in complex organisations.
- You possess advanced skills in Microsoft platforms (including Power BI and Fabric) and digital ecosystems.
- You are adept at developing and delivering data strategies and digital transformation projects.
- You demonstrate strong leadership, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- You have a deep understanding of AI use cases, risks, and ethical considerations.
- You are skilled in business case development, budget management, and resource planning.
What you’ll be doing
- Developing and implementing a data strategy that enables data-informed decision-making at all levels, ensuring it is integrated into organisational planning and drives continuous improvement. You’ll monitor and report on data maturity, supporting teams to use data effectively.
- Providing accessible, timely, and relevant analytics and reporting to support programme delivery and organisational learning. You’ll ensure performance dashboards and self-service reporting tools are widely adopted and valued by stakeholders.
- Leading the design and delivery of rigorous evaluation frameworks, ensuring the impact of our programmes is demonstrable and well-communicated. You’ll produce and disseminate impact reports, using evaluation findings to inform ongoing improvement.
- Managing and developing a high-performing Data Analytics and Evaluation team, promoting a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and alignment with our organisational values. You’ll oversee business planning, budgeting, and resource allocation for the team, to ensure effective delivery of objectives.
Why join Centrepoint?
In return for your efforts, you’ll receive a competitive salary, excellent training and development, and a host of staff benefits including:
- 25 days of annual leave per year, rising by one day per year to a maximum of 27 days
- Healthcare cash plan (Cover the costs of a wide range of medical treatment including Dental, Optical, Complementary and Alternative therapies).
- Private Medical insurance
- Income protection
- Employer pension contributions of 5%
- Access to Cycle 2 Work loan scheme
- An interest-free travel loan

We are passionate about ensuring all our colleagues are made to feel included in the work we do and that we value the rich diversity within the organization.
We are an equal opportunities employer and we welcome applications regardless of sex, gender, race, age, belief in any religion and none, gender identity, ethnic origin, class, sexuality, nationality, appearance, unrelated criminal activities, disability, responsibility for dependents, part time or shift workers, being HIV positive or living with AIDS, lived experience of homelessness or using young people’s services and any other matter which causes a person to be treated with injustice.

Join us and help us be here for every dog and cat, wherever they are, for as long as they need us.
Acceptable use of AI:
At Battersea, we value expertise. We recognise each candidate that applies to us will have a range of expertise they can offer us, so we want to hear about this in your own words. We understand the support that generative artificial intelligence (AI) software can offer but it can also lead to numerous applications presenting as generic and impersonal. This makes it difficult to gain understanding of your unique experience.
To best showcase yourself, we encourage you to write your responses without the assistance of AI. If you require the use of AI software to aid in completing your application, we ask you use the generative responses as a prompt for writing your answers and avoid copying and pasting. You must also ensure the information presented in your application accurately reflects your experience.
