Role Overview
The Supporter Care Team are looking to hire two Supporter Care Assistant posts who’ll provide excellent customer care; engaging, involving and inspiring all supporters of Crohn’s and Colitis UK through building excellent relationships via a variety of communication channels. The role will involve dealing with donations, ensuring that our records are kept updated on our database, running reports, and undertaking general admin duties.
About You
You’ll have experience of working in a similar role, providing a high standard of customer care in a fast-paced environment, handling supporter queries and providing information in a concise and comprehensive manner. You'll need strong written and verbal communication skills to write engaging and inspiring content and messaging, you'll also be skilled at listening and responding to queries appropriately and be comfortable and effective at managing challenging situations.
You will have the ability to manage a busy workload and deadlines whilst taking ownership of problems to find a solution where possible, escalating to a manager where required.
Experience of Microsoft office is essential, as well as excellent administration skills and high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

Our Location
We are based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, so we are easily accessible by road and rail. In this role, there is plenty of scope for working from home, although you will need to be in the office for two days a week minimum. There will also be other times when you’ll need to be in the office for fulfilment tasks or to attend meetings such as our ‘All Staff Together’ days four times a year and you will also be required to attend fundraising events.

In this role, you will lead on planning, delivering, and monitoring AI projects in collaboration with our partner organisations. · Develop and deliver HI UK’s strategy for high-net-worth individuals.
· Lead on the new Capital Campaign, 2026-2030, for HI UK.

Income Growth

Collaboration

Cultivation events

About Women in Prison
Women in Prison is a national, women-led, feminist organisation. We deliver front line support to women harmed by the criminal justice system, through our work in prisons, in the community and ‘through the prison gate’ as they resettle back into their communities. We also campaign for systems change that addresses the root causes of offending, reduces the harmful impact of prison, and creates workable, community-based alternatives to imprisonment.
Job Purpose:
Women in Prison’s Project Workers deliver high-quality, trauma-informed, independent advocacy for women in communities and in prisons, which focuses on early intervention, and holistic provision as part of a ‘whole system’ multi-agency response that looks to address the root causes of women’s offending. The primary purpose of this role is to provide in-depth, ongoing support to a caseload of women in the community of Greater Manchester.
Key Responsibility Areas:
- Provide high-quality, trauma-responsive support to women in contact with, or at risk of contact with the criminal justice system.
- Monitor case management systems to ensure accurate and timely data recording, aligning with contract KPIs and WIP policies.
- Develop and maintain effective partnerships with statutory and voluntary sector services to ensure coordinated, multi-agency support for women.

InHope helps people in Bristol overcome the insecurities of homelessness, hunger, addiction, and poor mental health. As the largest city in the South-West, Bristol has always had a challenge with rough sleeping, particularly amongst women. In recent years the need for our services has risen with acutely increasing rents and food prices.
This has led us to a thorough redesign of the way inHope functions. Instead of being organised by venue, since April 2025 we have been organised by the services we offer to clients through all of our venues. These cover provisions, shelter, client pathways and housing. The restructure is enabling us to provide better, more joined up services and for our clients, to not only meet their immediate needs, but to help them reach their God-given potential.
As Chief Executive you will lead our efforts to realise our vision, embedding the new structure, provide leadership to our skilled and proactive staff team of 40 and nearly 400 volunteers, and shape the development of our next five-year plan.

About the opportunity
As a Purchase to Pay Officer within our Finance & Assurance directorate, you'll own the end-to-end purchase-to-pay process that keeps our charity running. From procuring goods and services through to payment, you'll ensure smooth, controlled, and efficient operations while being the highly visible 'front door' of Accounts Payable for colleagues across the Society.
You'll oversee the complete P2P journey. Monitoring purchase requisitions, goods receipting, invoice processing, and payment runs, while proactively resolving issues and managing risks. As system owner for our purchase ledger and purchase ordering modules, you'll champion best practice, drive process improvements, and use data and metrics to motivate performance across the team. You'll also lead and develop our Accounts Assistants, building a high-performing team committed to continuous improvement and delivering a seamless, controlled experience for colleagues and suppliers alike.
About you:
You're an experienced finance professional with deep understanding of purchase-to-pay processes in large, complex organisations. You're passionate about using data to drive performance, and you thrive on building relationships that make financial processes work smoothly for everyone. You see efficiency and control not as constraints, but as enablers that allow the charity to focus on what matters most.
You'll have:
- Experience developing and motivating teams, particularly those early in their careers or undertaking professional qualifications, using a high challenge, high support approach.
- Deep understanding of end-to-end P2P processes and best practices in large organisations.
- Experience driving quality and performance improvement through data analysis, engaging multiple teams to achieve results.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with proven ability to build effective cross-departmental relationships with budget holders and business partners.
- Experience maintaining accurate financial records and reports, identifying issues, and developing effective solutions.
- Proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel) with strong ability to analyse, interpret and present data effectively.
What you’ll focus on:
- Leading and developing our Accounts Assistants, creating a culture of high challenge, high support, and continuous improvement.
- Overseeing end-to-end P2P processes, actively monitoring workflow, resolving issues, and managing supplier changes.
- Acting as system owner for purchase ledger and purchase ordering modules, championing best practice and ensuring seamless user experience.
