Our Client is a UK charity supporting vulnerable women and families facing unexpected pregnancy or pregnancy loss. Through supported housing, a helpline and counselling service, and practical, non-judgemental support, this Charity helps pregnant women, often aged 16-25 and in crisis due to homelessness, abuse, or other trauma, build safer, more stable futures. Guided by universal values of Humanity, Solidarity, Community, Charity and the Common Good, the Charity is growing community fundraising to increase impact nationwide. The team is now looking to appoint a Community Fundraising Lead - Acquisition, and Prospectus is leading the search.

Community Fundraising Lead - Acquisition 

Part time, 21 hours per week over 3 days

Hybrid - Midlands base with frequent travel to supporter locations (Home Counties/Midlands); occasional travel to Leamington Spa Head Office

£28,000-£34,000 per annum (FTE)

The Community Fundraising Lead will recruit, inspire and support volunteers, delivering sustainable income growth while balancing hands-on fundraising with the development of long-term initiatives. Working closely with Marketing and Income Generation teams, you will collaborate on projects, cultivate pipelines and develop leads to maximise fundraising activity and donor acquisition across communities, groups and local businesses.

Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, you will implement a community fundraising strategy across diverse networks; designing engaging activities, stewarding supporters, and leveraging national campaigns and events. You'll champion excellent supporter care, build visibility for Life in local settings, and use data and insights to evaluate performance and scale what works.

The successful candidate will be an ambitious, proactive relationship-builder with experience of community or volunteer-led fundraising. You'll bring creativity and confidence engaging people at all levels, a track record of delivering against income targets, and the organisational skills to juggle multiple projects while maintaining high standards of compliance and supporter experience. About the role:  

We are looking for a very confident, outgoing go-getter who loves using their gregarious personality to influence and enthuse people to get results but also enjoys being organised with strong admin processes. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has been involved in influencing organisations, businesses and groups or individuals to organise range of fundraising events, such as gaming, auctions, quizzes, gigs. You will be a part of a small but dynamic marketing and fundraising team and working with an Events and Engagement Officer.

This is a critical role for generating essential funds for the charity. You will love a challenge and be goal orientated. It is a varied role, and you will be someone who loves to multitask; you may be emailing supporters or potential fundraisers, making action plans, promoting, contacting organisations, or attending and speaking at events. You will thrive in this role if you love being organised and doing admin, but love being “out and about” interacting, influencing and motivating people to fundraise for us. Please note that you will need to carry, load up and set-up event materials from our office to events, often on your own. It is essential you have access to transport and must have a full, clean driving licence. Main Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Support and steward existing fundraisers and supporters, helping them maximise their impact by generating income/ donations through organising their own events 

• Create inspiring digital content and resources to empower and guide fundraisers and donors throughout their journey 

• Develop our fundraising hub to provide resources and information and encouragement to help participants 

• Represent Grassroots Suicide Prevention at events, delivering talks and building awareness to attract new donors, supporters and sign-ups to our challenge events 

• With support of our marketing team, create compelling content for multiple channels, including our website, blog, case studies, social media, and press releases, tailored to diverse audiences 

• Assist with multiple administrative tasks, such as inputting data into our CRM, check fundraising activities by participants on Just Giving and other activities ensure fundraising targets are being met and the smooth running and of our fundraising team and events 

• Be in commutable distance of Brighton, so you can come into the head office when required to send out merchandise, collect marketing collateral (including banners, posters, leaflets) to take to events.

About the Role

This exciting Fundraising and Engagement Officer role will be part of the Fundraising and Engagement team to ensure that the delivery of Mind BLMK’s current and future offer of fundraising and engagement are effectively delivered. As the Fundraising and Engagement Officer you will be responsible for supporting the growth of income across individual, major donors alongside community and corporate fundraising.

In this role you will be responsible for implementing and administrating fundraising and engagement activities, supporting inspiring campaigns, optimising stewardship and attending fundraising events.

As the Fundraising and Engagement Officer you will work closely with the fundraising and engagement team in the planning and development of fundraising initiatives. You will monitor and maintain donor and fundraising data in accordance with the organisations policies and procedures. You will be involved in the planning, implementation of PR, communications, media posting, newsletter, AGM and any other appropriate organisational priorities.

Overview

The Campaigns and Alumni Relations Office (CAR) at the University of Sheffield is dedicated to inspiring alumni (former students) to make philanthropic gifts, as well as giving their time and expertise. A donation to the University of Sheffield can change lives, from supporting students in financial need to furthering world-leading research.

As part of CAR, the Individual Giving team encourages people to make gifts of up to £10,000 using a data-driven approach and a range of communication channels. We’re looking for a skilful communicator and project manager to join us.

The Individual Giving Manager will deliver a multi-channel fundraising strategy to encourage people to give at ‘mid-value’ level (£1,000-£10,000 each year) through direct mail and digital fundraising You’ll also support the wider team by project managing mass fundraising appeals that solicit gifts of all sizes by direct mail and email.

You’ll also be responsible for producing stewardship communications, including reports, that thank donors giving over £1,000.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Deliver a multi-channel fundraising strategy to encourage people to give at ‘mid-value’ level (£1,000-£10,000 each year) through direct mail and digital fundraising.
• Manage and build an active portfolio of individuals capable of making mid-value gifts, engaging this group with tailored communications.

Our University has a proud history of philanthropy stretching back to its foundation in 1900. With a clear vision to change the lives of the people of Birmingham, Joseph Chamberlain raised the funds required to build the University from citizens and corporations based locally and around the globe. DARO exists to support our academic and student community by engaging, inspiring, and celebrating alumni, individuals, and charitable funders who give their money, time, and networks to support the University’s strategic priorities. The Office, which is comprised of five teams, is focused on fundraising and volunteering from alumni, organisations and individuals who are passionate about changing lives, through funding various research projects, supporting student bursaries, mentoring students, and providing internships, as well as providing a versatile programme of engagement opportunities for our global alumni community.

We are looking for an Associate Director of Charitable Partnerships to maximise our enormous income generation potential; coach, nurture and challenge the well-established Charitable Partnerships team; and deliver a bold and innovative strategy to support this exciting campaign, raising significant gifts yourself from an established and growing portfolio. You will lead a team of expert trust and corporate fundraisers to work across the campus and deliver an institution-wide service to generate income, networks and influence from corporates, charities, trusts and foundations. You will be responsible for creating a motivational and supportive environment for your team with professional development opportunities for all members. You will maintain oversight of all significant charitable relationships, including your own portfolio, and be the first point of contact for the amazing opportunities in this space. As a key member of DARO’s Senior Leadership team you will help shape the strategic direction of the function and work collaboratively with other Associate Directors to take our campaign to the next level.

About the role

As Trusts Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the growth of Crisis’ income from charitable trusts, foundations, and lottery funders. Alongside managing a portfolio of high-value supporters, you’ll take the lead in identifying, cultivating, and securing new funding opportunities - building relationships with partners whose priorities align with Crisis’ mission to end homelessness.

Working closely with the Senior Trusts and Statutory Lead and the Head of Philanthropy and Development, you’ll help shape and deliver an ambitious fundraising strategy that balances sustainable partnership management with bold new business development. You’ll bring creativity and strategic insight to finding and engaging new funders, developing compelling propositions that open doors to long-term collaboration.

This is a relationship-driven role that blends strategic planning with hands-on delivery. You’ll produce persuasive proposals and reports, developing strong relationships with funders and trustees, and collaborating across Crisis to communicate our impact through compelling cases for support. You’ll also manage a healthy prospect pipeline - driving forward new relationships while ensuring the team meets its income targets and continues to grow its supporter base.

We are recruiting for an Individual Giving Manager to drive and deliver our ambitious fundraising strategy in order to support the work of Life. The Individual Giving Manager will create, test, monitor and evaluate appeals and campaigns, lead on Legacy (and in-memoriam) giving, lottery and raffle and other income streams associated with individual giving.

Life is a UK charity for vulnerable women and families facing unexpected pregnancy or pregnancy loss. Life’s aim is to provide housing, care and support to vulnerable pregnant women (typically aged 16-25) who are in crisis situations, such as those facing homelessness (or at risk of), escaping abuse or other traumatic circumstances. Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, the postholder will work closely with colleagues across the Income Generation and Marketing teams to deliver on a positive donor/ supporter experience with the aim of retention of current supporters for the long-term as well as acquisition of new donors, maximising the potential of all of our supporters. Over the last five years we have increased the number of individuals and organisation supporting the charity from 800 to more than 3,500 a year. The charity is set to build on this success and aims to continue this growth, so that we can reach more patients and provide additional support at a time when it is more critical than ever for kidney patients.

The Corporate Partnership Manager will play a key role in this growth. Our Corporate Partnership income has grown from zero in 2020 to c£2.3 million in 2025. It is a very exciting time to be joining the charity and our Fundraising team.

Primarily, you will be responsible for building engagement and driving new income via charity of the year partnerships, corporate partnerships, and employee fundraising. You will manage the Corporate Partnership Officer who is developing a growing portfolio of supporters across different sectors. You will also work closely with the Events Manager, Trust & Foundation Manager, Head of Fundraising and Director of Fundraising, Marketing & Communications as well as the wider Fundraising team to promote and support all opportunities to drive corporate income growth.

Alongside the Director of Fundraising, Marketing & Communications who takes a special interest in the charity’s Corporate Partnerships, you will be tasked with planning, implementing, and delivering the activities, programmes and processes required to grow corporate income from c£2.3m in 2025 to even greater levels over the coming years.

You will do this by stewarding the significant number of existing relationships and partnerships we already hold and maximising any opportunities that exist via our current partnerships and relationships. A key part of this role will require you to develop new opportunities and secure significant income (5-and-6 figure partnerships) through proactive engagement to and through our supporters, beneficiaries, networks, and contacts.

The right candidate will have a proven record of generating strategic partnerships that result in 5-and 6-figure corporate income, building strong and rewarding relationships, with stewardships skills that generate long term support for the charity. You will be a driven and enthusiastic fundraiser with experience of cultivating new relationships across a range of businesses and sectors.
