The Individual Giving Campaigns Manager will lead and manage the multi-channel campaign portfolio
within the Individual Giving function at Birmingham Women’s and Children's Hospital Charity. The Charity
has been growing its supporter base over recent years and has an ambition to create a step change in our
approach and significantly grow our Individual Giving donors and supporters.
This role is perfect for someone with excellent Individual Giving campaign creation & communication skills, a
deep understanding of print and digital marketing, and robust analytical skills, able to make clear
recommendations for campaign improvements to drive our future strategy
They will ensure that all income targets are achieved in line with the wider Fundraising Strategy and work
closely with other Individual Giving colleagues covering ‘Acquisition & Retention’ and ‘In Memory & Legacies’
to deliver successful campaigns. The post holder will also support and deputise for the Head of Individual
Giving where appropriate, to empower the Individual Giving and Legacies team to deliver over £3.5million+
per annum.
Key responsibilities include:
1. To utilise a range of existing and new channels to deliver new and existing campaigns to drive donor
acquisition, retention and upgrade, thereby maximising and growing annual income from individual
giving campaigns covering Lotteries, Direct Marketing, Regular Giving and Legacies.
2. To design, deliver and analyse our annual multi-channel Direct Marketing portfolio covering Direct
Mails, Eshots, Cold Mails, Social Media and digital acquisition to grow income, supporter
engagement and data. The post holder will lead on the development of compelling campaign
messaging, creative concepts and briefing design to ensure high-quality, engaging supporter
communications.
3. To undertake complex analysis and evaluation of all Individual Giving campaigns, developing plans
to continuously improve performance, response rates and ROI. To ensure effective use of campaign
data to improve targeting, segmentation and overall campaign performance
4. To design and implement campaigns with robust and engaging supporter journeys, that build
meaningful relationships and increase lifetime value & thereby long term sustainable income
5. To work with internal stakeholders to create inspiring Charity impact stories and campaigns that
drive public support of the 'general charity fund’ & enable long term, unrestricted income growth
6. To support the Head of Individual Giving to develop and implement the Individual Giving & Legacies 5 Year Campaign Strategy providing long term sustainable income and supporter growth, as well as
line-manage and develop staff responsible for delivering Individual Giving & Legacies campaigns,
fostering a high-performing and collaborative team culture
7. To provide guidance, training and support to the Public Fundraising Team and wider Charity Team
for all relevant Individual Giving and Legacy campaigns/products
8. To build and manage key stakeholder relationships with existing third party suppliers, Data & AI
agencies, external Raffle and Prize Draw platforms, Design Agencies, and Mailing/Fulfilment

channels, including reviewing and optimising existing lead generation activity and developing new,

They will work on a new strand of our high-profile campaign to transform the food system and hold big corporate polluters accountable. The Role:
We are looking for a Senior Campaigner with at least seven years’ campaigning experience, including running and winning campaigns and a proven track record of success. They will work on a new strand of our impactful campaign to reduce emissions from the food system. The successful candidate should have experience in commissioning research, writing reports, policy briefings, and building NGO coalitions. They should have outstanding inter-personal skills and be a team player with the ability to form collaborative working relationships with a variety of different stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead the implementation of high-impact campaign strategies and tactics for our food system transformation campaign.
· Conduct research and analysis to inform campaign messaging and write reports, blogs, responses to consultations, etc. to advance our campaign goals.

As the Policy and Campaigns Officer for Scotland, you will be the driving force behind our policy development, political monitoring, and strategic advocacy in Scotland. The Elizabeth Landmark is seeking a Fundraising Campaign Manager to help shape and deliver fundraising for an ambitious cultural project in Northumberland. This is a rare opportunity to play a central role in building the campaign behind a major new landscape sculpture created in honour of Queen Elizabeth II.
The Elizabeth Landmark will be a 55-metre public artwork at Cold Law, designed by Simon Hitchens and rooted in the landscape, heritage and industrial history of the site. This role is fixed-term because this is the first time we are developing this work, with support from a restricted, time-limited grant. If by the end of the first year it is clear that the role brings significant value to the charity, we will be looking to secure alternative funding and extend the contract.

Purpose of the role
This role will build and grow a sustainable Individual Giving programme from a small base, developing the strategy and activity needed to significantly increase public fundraising income. The role will strengthen supporter journeys, improve retention, and establish regular giving as a core income stream. It will also lead the development of in‑memory giving and deliver two key annual campaigns, helping to create a more reliable and resilient income base. This is a hands‑on role for a proactive self‑starter who can bring focus, structure and momentum to an under‑developed but high‑potential area of fundraising.
Key responsibilites
Lead and grow our regular giving programme, developing a clear plan to increase supporter numbers, strengthen retention and build long‑term value. Ensure monthly giving becomes a visible and natural part of our campaigns, events and wider communications, helping to create a reliable foundation of recurring income.
Plan and deliver 2–3 integrated appeals each year, working closely with Marketing to shape warm, compelling messaging. Set achievable income targets, monitor performance and embed a test‑and‑learn approach so each appeal improves on the last.
Strengthen and expand our in‑memory giving, ensuring supporters feel supported and valued at what can be a deeply personal time. Introduce light‑touch legacy awareness in a sensitive, values‑led way to begin building longer‑term support.
Create clear, engaging supporter journeys that move people from a first gift to ongoing involvement. Use insight and data to understand behaviour, re‑engage lapsed donors where appropriate and identify opportunities to develop mid‑value giving.
Maintain oversight of individual giving performance, tracking income against target and identifying trends, risks and opportunities early. Contribute to forecasting and planning, bringing structure and confidence to this growing income stream.
Work closely with Relationship Fundraisers and the Partnerships Manager to ensure activity is joined up, supporting community donors to move into wider giving journeys and making the most of opportunities such as payroll giving. Play an active role in monthly income discussions and in shaping our wider growth plans.
Take a hands‑on approach to delivery, from drafting copy and shaping creative to managing data selections and supporter communications. As this is a developing income stream, you’ll be comfortable building processes, testing new ideas and driving activity forward with initiative and independence.
Work with our Engagement team to strengthen digital fundraising, ensuring donation pages, email journeys and social content support donor recruitment and retention.

The role
We are looking for a sharp, experienced communications professional to lead ASL's voice and drive its communications strategy at a pivotal moment in the organisation's growth. This is a senior, strategy-led role for someone who combines rigorous campaign instincts with genuine digital fluency.
About you
You have at least 8 years' experience in senior communications roles, ideally within campaigning or purpose-driven organisations. You have a track record of delivering communications campaigns with measurable real-world impact.
Critically, you are a digital native. You understand how campaigns live and die on social platforms, how to build and activate online audiences, and how to use data to test, iterate and sharpen messaging in real time. You are confident navigating the rapidly changing media landscape and as comfortable crafting a social campaign as you are pitching a broadsheet journalist.
You know how to tell complex stories simply without losing rigour. You understand that both message and messenger matter, and you know how to target both to diverse audiences across different markets and cultures.

Digital campaigning
Lead ASL's digital campaign strategy across social, email and content channels
Oversee content production, ensuring quality, consistency and platform-appropriate storytelling
Harness data and analytics to test messaging, track performance and optimise campaigns
Media liaison and PR
Develop and maintain relationships with key journalists across target markets
Build and manage media contact databases
Develop pitch content, press materials and key messaging
Identify and capitalise on media moments
Management
Manage external contractors and agency relationships
Lead a diverse, distributed team
Support spokespeople with messaging, briefings and media preparation
Selection criteria
Essential
Demonstrated experience developing and executing communications strategies for international campaigns with measurable outcomes
Strong digital campaign experience: social strategy, content, community building, analytics and paid amplification
Demonstrated experience securing top-tier targeted media coverage across varied markets
Experience crafting, testing and iterating topline messages
Ability to communicate complex material clearly without sacrificing accuracy or credibility
Comfortable leading a remote, globally distributed team
Fluency in English.
Desirable
Experience working across diverse regions and stakeholder communities
Experience with AV production and multimedia content
Media training skills
Familiarity with corporate climate accountability, energy transition or adjacent issue areas
